| 1 בַּלַּ֣יְלָה הַה֔וּא [2] Zaqef  נָדְדָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha שְׁנַ֣ת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta אֶת־סֵ֤פֶר הַזִּכְרֹנוֹת֙ [3] Pashta דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
1 On that night, [2]  it fled, [2] the sleep of the king; [1] the book of records [3] of the chronicles, [2] before the king. [1]  |

| 2 וַיִּמָּצֵ֣א כָת֗וּב [3] Revi'i  עַל־בִּגְתָ֣נָא וָתֶ֗רֶשׁ [3] Revi'i סָרִיסֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef הַסַּ֑ף [1] Etnachta לִשְׁלֹ֣חַ יָ֔ד [2] Zaqef אֲחַשְׁוֵרֽוֹשׁ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
2 And it was found recorded [3]  about Bigthana and Teresh, [3] of the eunuchs of the king, [2] of the threshold; [1] to lay hands [2] Ahasuerus. [1]  |

| 3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef  יְקָ֧ר וּגְדוּלָּ֛ה [3] Tevir לְמׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha עַל־זֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta נַעֲרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta מְשָׁ֣רְתָ֔יו [2] Zaqef דָּבָֽר׃ [1] Silluq  | 
3 And the king said, [2]  of honor and greatness [3] for Mordecai [2] regarding this?” [1] the young men of the king, [3 3] his servants, [2] anything.” [1]  |

| 4 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha  מִ֣י בֶחָצֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta לַחֲצַ֤ר בֵּית־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכַ֔י [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־הֵכִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
4 And the king said, [2]  “Who is in the court?” [1] to the court of the house of the king [3 3] the outer, [2] Mordecai [2] which he had prepared for him. [1]  |

| 5 וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ [4] Geresh  נַעֲרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef עֹמֵ֣ד בֶּחָצֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta יָבֽוֹא׃ [1] Silluq  | 
5 And they said, [4]  the servants of the king [3 3] to him, [2] is standing in the court.” [1] “Let him come.” [1]  |

| 6 וַיָּבוֹא֮ [3] Zarqa  הָמָן֒ [2] Segol הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef בָּאִ֕ישׁ [2] ZaqefG אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֣ץ בִּיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta בְּלִבּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef יַחְפֹּ֥ץ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ [3] Tevir לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת יְקָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha יוֹתֵ֥ר מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ [1] Silluq  | 
6 So he came, [3]  Haman, [2] the king, [2] for the man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor?” [1] in his heart, [2] would the king delight [3] to do honor, [2] more than myself?” [1]  |

| 7 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הָמָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha  אֶל־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
7 And Haman said [2]  to the king; [1] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor, [1]  |

| 8 יָבִ֙יאוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta  לְב֣וּשׁ מַלְכ֔וּת [2] Zaqef הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֨ר רָכַ֤ב עָלָיו֙ [3] Pashta הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef כֶּ֥תֶר מַלְכ֖וּת [2] Tip'cha בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
8 let (it) be brought [3 3]  royal clothing [2] the king; [1] on which he has ridden, [3] the king, [2] a royal crown [2] on its head. [1]  |

| 9 וְנָת֨וֹן הַלְּב֜וּשׁ [4] Geresh  וְהַסּ֗וּס [3] Revi'i מִשָּׂרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַֽפַּרְתְּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אֶת־הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef חָפֵ֣ץ בִּֽיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
9 And let the clothing be put [4]  and the horse, [3] one of the officials of the king [3 3] who is noble, [2] the man [2] he delights in his honor; [1] through the city square, [2] it shall be done for the man [2] he delights in his honor!’ ” [1]  |

| 10 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Geresh  לְהָמָ֗ן [3] Revi'i קַ֣ח אֶת־הַלְּב֤וּשׁ וְאֶת־הַסּוּס֙ [3] Pashta כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֔רְתָּ [2] Zaqef לְמׇרְדֳּכַ֣י הַיְּהוּדִ֔י [2] Zaqef בְּשַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta מִכֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
10 And the king said [4]  to Haman, [3] take the clothing and the horse, [3] just as you have said, [2] for Mordecai the Jew [2] at the gate of the king. [1] of all [2] that you have spoken.” [1]  |

| 11 וַיִּקַּ֤ח הָמָן֙ [3] Pashta  אֶת־הַלְּב֣וּשׁ וְאֶת־הַסּ֔וּס [2] Zaqef אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
11 And Haman took [3]  the clothing and the horse, [2] Mordecai; [1] through the city square, [2] it shall be done for the man [2] he delights in his honor!” [1]  |

| 12 וַיָּ֥שׇׁב מׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha  אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta נִדְחַ֣ף אֶל־בֵּית֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וַחֲפ֥וּי רֹֽאשׁ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
12 And Mordecai returned [2]  to the gate of the king; [1] he hurried to his house, [2] and with head covered. [1]  |

| 13 וַיְסַפֵּ֨ר הָמָ֜ן [4] Geresh  לְזֶ֤רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta וּלְכׇל־אֹ֣הֲבָ֔יו [2] Zaqef כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר קָרָ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta וְזֶ֣רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i מׇרְדֳּכַ֞י [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁר֩ הַחִלּ֨וֹתָ לִנְפֹּ֤ל לְפָנָיו֙ [3] Pashta לֹא־תוּכַ֣ל ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef לְפָנָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq  | 
13 And Haman recounted [4]  to Zeresh his wife [3] and to all his friends [2] everything that had happened to him; [1] and Zeresh his wife, [3] Mordecai [4] before whom you have begun to fall, [3] you will not prevail against him, [2] before him.” [1]  |

| 14 עוֹדָם֙ [3] Pashta  מְדַבְּרִ֣ים עִמּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef הִגִּ֑יעוּ [1] Etnachta לְהָבִ֣יא אֶת־הָמָ֔ן [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq  | 
14 While still they [3]  were talking with him, [2] they arrived; [1] to bring Haman [2] which Esther had prepared. [1]  |
