	¹בַּלַּ֣יְלָה הַה֔וּא [2] Zaqef נָדְדָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha שְׁנַ֣ת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i לְהָבִ֞יא [4] Gershayim אֶת־סֵ֤פֶר הַזִּכְרֹנוֹת֙ [3] Pashta דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וַיִּהְי֥וּ נִקְרָאִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq		¹On that night, [2] it fled, [2] the sleep of the king; [1] and he said [3] to bring [4] the book of records [3] of the chronicles, [2] and they were read aloud [2] before the king. [1]
	²וַיִּמָּצֵ֣א כָת֗וּב [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁר֩ הִגִּ֨יד מׇרְדֳּכַ֜י [4] Geresh עַל־בִּגְתָ֣נָא וָתֶ֗רֶשׁ [3] Revi'i שְׁנֵי֙ [3] Pashta סָרִיסֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef מִשֹּׁמְרֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha הַסַּ֑ף [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֤ר בִּקְשׁוּ֙ [3] Pashta לִשְׁלֹ֣חַ יָ֔ד [2] Zaqef בַּמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha אֲחַשְׁוֵרֽוֹשׁ׃ [1] Silluq		²And it was found recorded [3] that Mordecai had told [4] about Bigthana and Teresh, [3] two [3] of the eunuchs of the king, [2] of the guards [2] of the threshold; [1] who had sought [3] to lay hands [2] on the King [2] Ahasuerus. [1]
	³וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef מַֽה־נַּעֲשָׂ֞ה [4] Gershayim יְקָ֧ר וּגְדוּלָּ֛ה [3] Tevir לְמׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha עַל־זֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ [4] Geresh נַעֲרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta מְשָׁ֣רְתָ֔יו [2] Zaqef לֹא־נַעֲשָׂ֥ה עִמּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha דָּבָֽר׃ [1] Silluq		³And the king said, [2] “What has been done [4] of honor and greatness [3] for Mordecai [2] regarding this?” [1] And they said, [4] the young men of the king, [3 3] his servants, [2] “For him has not been done [2] anything.” [1]
	⁴וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha מִ֣י בֶחָצֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta וְהָמָ֣ן בָּ֗א [3] Revi'i לַחֲצַ֤ר בֵּית־הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לֵאמֹ֣ר לַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef לִתְלוֹת֙ [3] Pashta אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכַ֔י [2] Zaqef עַל־הָעֵ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁר־הֵכִ֥ין לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁴And the king said, [2] “Who is in the court?” [1] Now Haman had come [3] to the court of the house of the king [3 3] the outer, [2] to ask the king [2] to hang [3] Mordecai [2] on the gallows [2] which he had prepared for him. [1]
	⁵וַיֹּ֨אמְר֜וּ [4] Geresh נַעֲרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef הִנֵּ֥ה הָמָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha עֹמֵ֣ד בֶּחָצֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha יָבֽוֹא׃ [1] Silluq		⁵And they said, [4] the servants of the king [3 3] to him, [2] “Behold Haman [2] is standing in the court.” [1] And the king said, [2] “Let him come.” [1]
	⁶וַיָּבוֹא֮ [3] Zarqa הָמָן֒ [2] Segol וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ [3] Pashta הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef מַה־לַּעֲשׂ֕וֹת [2] ZaqefG בָּאִ֕ישׁ [2] ZaqefG אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֣ץ בִּיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הָמָן֙ [3] Pashta בְּלִבּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef לְמִ֞י [4] Gershayim יַחְפֹּ֥ץ הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ [3] Tevir לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת יְקָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha יוֹתֵ֥ר מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ [1] Silluq		⁶So he came, [3] Haman, [2] and he said to him, [3] the king, [2] “What should be done [2] for the man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor?” [1] And Haman said [3] in his heart, [2] “To whom [4] would the king delight [3] to do honor, [2] more than myself?” [1]
	⁷וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הָמָ֖ן [2] Tip'cha אֶל־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta אִ֕ישׁ [2] ZaqefG אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁷And Haman said [2] to the king; [1] “A man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor, [1]
	⁸יָבִ֙יאוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta לְב֣וּשׁ מַלְכ֔וּת [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָֽבַשׁ־בּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta וְס֗וּס [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֨ר רָכַ֤ב עָלָיו֙ [3] Pashta הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר נִתַּ֛ן [3] Tevir כֶּ֥תֶר מַלְכ֖וּת [2] Tip'cha בְּרֹאשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁸let (it) be brought [3 3] royal clothing [2] which he has worn, [2] the king; [1] and a horse [3] on which he has ridden, [3] the king, [2] and (on) which it has been put, [3] a royal crown [2] on its head. [1]
	⁹וְנָת֨וֹן הַלְּב֜וּשׁ [4] Geresh וְהַסּ֗וּס [3] Revi'i עַל־יַד־אִ֞ישׁ [4] Gershayim מִשָּׂרֵ֤י הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta הַֽפַּרְתְּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וְהִלְבִּ֙ישׁוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֶת־הָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֣ץ בִּֽיקָר֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וְהִרְכִּיבֻ֤הוּ עַל־הַסּוּס֙ [3] Pashta בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef וְקָרְא֣וּ לְפָנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef כָּ֚כָה [3] Yetiv יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁹And let the clothing be put [4] and the horse, [3] in the hands of a man, [4] one of the officials of the king [3 3] who is noble, [2] and they will clothe [3 3] the man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor; [1] and they will have him ride on horseback [3] through the city square, [2] and they will proclaim before him, [2] ‘Thus [3] it shall be done for the man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor!’ ” [1]
	¹⁰וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Geresh לְהָמָ֗ן [3] Revi'i מַ֠הֵ֠ר [4 4] TelishaG קַ֣ח אֶת־הַלְּב֤וּשׁ וְאֶת־הַסּוּס֙ [3] Pashta כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֔רְתָּ [2] Zaqef וַֽעֲשֵׂה־כֵן֙ [3] Pashta לְמׇרְדֳּכַ֣י הַיְּהוּדִ֔י [2] Zaqef הַיּוֹשֵׁ֖ב [2] Tip'cha בְּשַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta אַל־תַּפֵּ֣ל דָּבָ֔ר [2] Zaqef מִכֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰And the king said [4] to Haman, [3] “Hurry [4 4] take the clothing and the horse, [3] just as you have said, [2] and do so [3] for Mordecai the Jew [2] who sits [2] at the gate of the king. [1] Don't let a word fall [2] of all [2] that you have spoken.” [1]
	¹¹וַיִּקַּ֤ח הָמָן֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־הַלְּב֣וּשׁ וְאֶת־הַסּ֔וּס [2] Zaqef וַיַּלְבֵּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta וַיַּרְכִּיבֵ֙הוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta בִּרְח֣וֹב הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef וַיִּקְרָ֣א לְפָנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef כָּ֚כָה [3] Yetiv יֵעָשֶׂ֣ה לָאִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha חָפֵ֥ץ בִּיקָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹And Haman took [3] the clothing and the horse, [2] and he clothed [2] Mordecai; [1] and he had him ride [3 3] through the city square, [2] and he proclaimed before him, [2] “Thus [3] it shall be done for the man [2] whom the king, [2] he delights in his honor!” [1]
	¹²וַיָּ֥שׇׁב מׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta וְהָמָן֙ [3] Pashta נִדְחַ֣ף אֶל־בֵּית֔וֹ [2] Zaqef אָבֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha וַחֲפ֥וּי רֹֽאשׁ׃ [1] Silluq		¹²And Mordecai returned [2] to the gate of the king; [1] but Haman, [3] he hurried to his house, [2] mourning [2] and with head covered. [1]
	¹³וַיְסַפֵּ֨ר הָמָ֜ן [4] Geresh לְזֶ֤רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta וּלְכׇל־אֹ֣הֲבָ֔יו [2] Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר קָרָ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֩אמְרוּ֩ ל֨וֹ חֲכָמָ֜יו [4] Geresh וְזֶ֣רֶשׁ אִשְׁתּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i אִ֣ם מִזֶּ֣רַע הַיְּהוּדִ֡ים [4] Pazer מׇרְדֳּכַ֞י [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁר֩ הַחִלּ֨וֹתָ לִנְפֹּ֤ל לְפָנָיו֙ [3] Pashta לֹא־תוּכַ֣ל ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef כִּֽי־נָפ֥וֹל תִּפּ֖וֹל [2] Tip'cha לְפָנָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq		¹³And Haman recounted [4] to Zeresh his wife [3] and to all his friends [2] -- [2] everything that had happened to him; [1] and they said to him, his wise men [4] and Zeresh his wife, [3] “If (he) is of Jewish descent, [4] Mordecai [4] before whom you have begun to fall, [3] you will not prevail against him, [2] but you will surely fall [2] before him.” [1]
	¹⁴עוֹדָם֙ [3] Pashta מְדַבְּרִ֣ים עִמּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וְסָרִיסֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha הִגִּ֑יעוּ [1] Etnachta וַיַּבְהִ֙לוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta לְהָבִ֣יא אֶת־הָמָ֔ן [2] Zaqef אֶל־הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁴While still they [3] were talking with him, [2] the eunuchs of the king, [2] they arrived; [1] and they hurried [3 3] to bring Haman [2] to the banquet [2] which Esther had prepared. [1]
