[1]
	²וַיָּ֨סַר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Geresh אֶת־טַבַּעְתּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֶֽעֱבִיר֙ [3] Pashta מֵֽהָמָ֔ן [2] Zaqef וַֽיִּתְּנָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha לְמׇרְדֳּכָ֑י [1] Etnachta וַתָּ֧שֶׂם אֶסְתֵּ֛ר [3] Tevir אֶֽת־מׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha עַל־בֵּ֥ית הָמָֽן׃ [1] Silluq ס		²And the king took off [4] his signet ring, [3] which he had taken [3] from Haman, [2] and he gave it [2] to Mordecai; [1] and Esther appointed [3] Mordecai [2] over the house of Haman. 	³וַתּ֣וֹסֶף אֶסְתֵּ֗ר [3] Revi'i וַתְּדַבֵּר֙ [3] Pashta לִפְנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef וַתִּפֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֣י רַגְלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta וַתֵּ֣בְךְּ וַתִּתְחַנֶּן־ל֗וֹ [3] Revi'i לְהַֽעֲבִיר֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־רָעַת֙ [3] Pashta הָמָ֣ן הָֽאֲגָגִ֔י [2] Zaqef וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta מַֽחֲשַׁבְתּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָשַׁ֖ב [2] Tip'cha עַל־הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		³And Esther, again [3] she spoke [3] before the king, [2] and she fell [2] before his feet; [1] and she wept and she begged him [3] to take away [3] the evil [3] of Haman the Agagite, [2] and [3] his plan [2] that he had planned [2] against the Jews. [1]
	⁴וַיּ֤וֹשֶׁט הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ [3 3] Pashta לְאֶסְתֵּ֔ר [2] Zaqef אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha שַׁרְבִ֣ט הַזָּהָ֑ב [1] Etnachta וַתָּ֣קׇם אֶסְתֵּ֔ר [2] Zaqef וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖ד [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq		⁴And the king extended [3 3] to Esther [2] -- [2] the golden scepter; [1] and Esther arose, [2] and she stood [2] before the king. [1]
	⁵וַ֠תֹּ֠אמֶר [4 4] TelishaG אִם־עַל־הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ ט֜וֹב [4] Geresh וְאִם־מָצָ֧אתִי חֵ֣ן לְפָנָ֗יו [3] Revi'i וְכָשֵׁ֤ר הַדָּבָר֙ [3] Pashta לִפְנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef וְטוֹבָ֥ה אֲנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha בְּעֵינָ֑יו [1] Etnachta יִכָּתֵ֞ב [4] Gershayim לְהָשִׁ֣יב אֶת־הַסְּפָרִ֗ים [3] Revi'i מַחֲשֶׁ֜בֶת [4] Geresh הָמָ֤ן בֶּֽן־הַמְּדָ֙תָא֙ [3 3] Pashta הָאֲגָגִ֔י [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּתַ֗ב [3] Revi'i לְאַבֵּד֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha בְּכׇל־מְדִינ֥וֹת הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq		⁵And she said, [4 4] “If it seems good to the king [4] and if I have found favor before him, [3] and the matter is proper [3] before the king, [2] and I am pleasing [2] in his eyes; [1] let it be written [4] to revoke the letters, [3] the plan [4] of Haman the son of Hammedatha [3 3] the Agagite, [2] which he wrote [3] to destroy [3] the Jews [2] who [2] are in all the provinces of the king. [1]
	⁶כִּ֠י [4] TelishaG אֵיכָכָ֤ה אוּכַל֙ [3] Pashta וְֽרָאִ֔יתִי [2] Zaqef בָּרָעָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֲשֶׁר־יִמְצָ֣א אֶת־עַמִּ֑י [1] Etnachta וְאֵֽיכָכָ֤ה אוּכַל֙ [3] Pashta וְֽרָאִ֔יתִי [2] Zaqef בְּאׇבְדַ֖ן [2] Tip'cha מוֹלַדְתִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq ס		⁶For [4] how can I bear [3] to look [2] on the evil [2] which will find my people; [1] and how can I bear [3] to look [2] on the destruction [2] of my kindred?” [1] §
	⁷וַיֹּ֨אמֶר הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרֹשׁ֙ [3] Pashta לְאֶסְתֵּ֣ר הַמַּלְכָּ֔ה [2] Zaqef וּֽלְמׇרְדֳּכַ֖י [2] Tip'cha הַיְּהוּדִ֑י [1] Etnachta הִנֵּ֨ה בֵית־הָמָ֜ן [4] Geresh נָתַ֣תִּי לְאֶסְתֵּ֗ר [3] Revi'i וְאֹתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta תָּל֣וּ עַל־הָעֵ֔ץ [2] Zaqef עַ֛ל [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁר־שָׁלַ֥ח יָד֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha ביהודיים *בַּיְּהוּדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		⁷And King Ahasuerus said [3] to Esther the queen [2] and to Mordecai [2] the Jew; [1] “See, the house of Haman [4] I have given to Esther, [3] and him [3] they have hanged on the gallows, [2] because [3] he laid his hand [2] on the Jews. [1]
	⁸וְ֠אַתֶּ֠ם [4 4] TelishaG כִּתְב֨וּ עַל־הַיְּהוּדִ֜ים [4] Geresh כַּטּ֤וֹב בְּעֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ [3] Pashta בְּשֵׁ֣ם הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ [2] Zaqef וְחִתְמ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha בְּטַבַּ֣עַת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta כִּֽי־כְתָ֞ב [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁר־נִכְתָּ֣ב בְּשֵׁם־הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ [3] Revi'i וְנַחְתּ֛וֹם [3] Tevir בְּטַבַּ֥עַת הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha אֵ֥ין לְהָשִֽׁיב׃ [1] Silluq		⁸And you, [4 4] write concerning the Jews [4] as is good in your eyes, [3] in the name of the king, [2] and seal it [2] with the signet ring of the king; [1] for a writing [4] which is written in the name of the king, [3] and it is sealed [3] with the signet ring of the king, [2] may not be revoked.” [1]
	⁹וַיִּקָּרְא֣וּ סֹפְרֵֽי־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ בָּֽעֵת־הַ֠הִ֠יא [4 4] TelishaG בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֜י [4] Geresh הוּא־חֹ֣דֶשׁ סִיוָ֗ן [3] Revi'i בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁ֣ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֮ [3] Zarqa בּוֹ֒ [2] Segol וַיִּכָּתֵ֣ב כְּֽכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֣ה מׇרְדֳּכַ֣י אֶל־הַיְּהוּדִ֡ים [4] Pazer וְאֶ֣ל הָאֲחַשְׁדַּרְפְּנִֽים־וְהַפַּחוֹת֩ וְשָׂרֵ֨י הַמְּדִינ֜וֹת [4] Geresh אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ [4] Legarmeh מֵהֹ֣דּוּ וְעַד־כּ֗וּשׁ [3] Revi'i שֶׁ֣בַע וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וּמֵאָה֙ [3] Pashta מְדִינָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מְדִינָ֤ה וּמְדִינָה֙ [3] Pashta כִּכְתָבָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef וְעַ֥ם וָעָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha כִּלְשֹׁנ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta וְאֶ֨ל־הַיְּהוּדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef כִּכְתָבָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha וְכִלְשׁוֹנָֽם׃ [1] Silluq		⁹Then the scribes of the king were summoned at that time, [4 4] in the third month [4] which is the month of Sivan, [3] on day three and twenty [3] of it, [2] and it was written according to all that Mordecai commanded to the Jews, [4] and to the local governors and the governors and the officials of the provinces [4] which [4] were from India to Cush, [3] seven and twenty and one hundred [3] provinces, [2] to each province [3] according to its writing, [2] and to each people [2] according to its language; [1] and to the Jews, [2] according to their writing [2] and according to their language. [1]
	¹⁰וַיִּכְתֹּ֗ב [3] Revi'i בְּשֵׁם֙ [3] Pashta הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵרֹ֔שׁ [2] Zaqef וַיַּחְתֹּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בְּטַבַּ֣עַת הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח סְפָרִ֡ים [4] Pazer בְּיַד֩ הָרָצִ֨ים בַּסּוּסִ֜ים [4] Geresh רֹכְבֵ֤י הָרֶ֙כֶשׁ֙ [3 3] Pashta הָֽאֲחַשְׁתְּרָנִ֔ים [2] Zaqef בְּנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha הָֽרַמָּכִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰And he wrote [3] in the name [3] of King Ahasuerus, [2] and he sealed it [2] with the signet ring of the king; [1] and he sent letters [4] by the hand of couriers on horses [4] riding steeds, [3 3] the royal, [2] sons [2] of the mares. [1]
	¹¹אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ [4] Geresh לַיְּהוּדִ֣ים ׀ [4] Legarmeh אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּכׇל־עִיר־וָעִ֗יר [3] Revi'i לְהִקָּהֵל֮ [3] Zarqa וְלַעֲמֹ֣ד עַל־נַפְשָׁם֒ [2] Segol לְהַשְׁמִיד֩ וְלַהֲרֹ֨ג וּלְאַבֵּ֜ד [4] Geresh אֶת־כׇּל־חֵ֨יל עַ֧ם וּמְדִינָ֛ה [3] Tevir הַצָּרִ֥ים אֹתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha טַ֣ף וְנָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta וּשְׁלָלָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לָבֽוֹז׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹For the king had granted [4] to the Jews [4] who were in each city, [3] to assemble [3] and to defend their life, [2] to annihilate and to kill and to destroy [4] every army of people and province [3] which attacked them, [2] little ones and women; [1] and their possessions [2] to take as plunder, [1]
	¹²בְּי֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד [2] Zaqef בְּכׇל־מְדִינ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֑וֹשׁ [1] Etnachta בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר [3] Tevir לְחֹ֥דֶשׁ שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֖ר [2] Tip'cha הוּא־חֹ֥דֶשׁ אֲדָֽר׃ [1] Silluq		¹²on one day [2] in all the provinces [2] of King Ahasuerus; [1] on day thirteen [3] of month two and ten, [2] which is the month of Adar. [1]
	¹³פַּתְשֶׁ֣גֶן הַכְּתָ֗ב [3] Revi'i לְהִנָּ֤תֵֽן דָּת֙ [3] Pashta בְּכׇל־מְדִינָ֣ה וּמְדִינָ֔ה [2] Zaqef גָּל֖וּי [2] Tip'cha לְכׇל־הָעַמִּ֑ים [1] Etnachta וְלִהְי֨וֹת היהודיים הַיְּהוּדִ֤ים עתודים **עֲתִידִים֙ [3] Pashta לַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef לְהִנָּקֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha מֵאֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq		¹³A copy of the writing [3] was to be be given as a decree [3] in each province, [2] being published [2] to all the peoples; [1] that the Jews should be ready [3] for this day, [2] to avenge themselves [2] on their enemies. [1]
	¹⁴הָרָצִ֞ים [4] Gershayim רֹכְבֵ֤י הָרֶ֙כֶשׁ֙ [3 3] Pashta הָֽאֲחַשְׁתְּרָנִ֔ים [2] Zaqef יָ֥צְא֛וּ [3] Tevir מְבֹהָלִ֥ים וּדְחוּפִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בִּדְבַ֣ר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta וְהַדָּ֥ת נִתְּנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּשׁוּשַׁ֥ן הַבִּירָֽה׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹⁴The couriers [4] riding steeds, [3 3] the royal, [2] they went out [3] hastened and hurried, [2] at the word of the king; [1] and the decree was given out [2] in Susa the citadel. 	¹⁵וּמׇרְדֳּכַ֞י [4] Gershayim יָצָ֣א ׀ [4] Legarmeh מִלִּפְנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ [3] Revi'i בִּלְב֤וּשׁ מַלְכוּת֙ [3] Pashta תְּכֵ֣לֶת וָח֔וּר [2] Zaqef וַעֲטֶ֤רֶת זָהָב֙ [3] Pashta גְּדוֹלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְתַכְרִ֥יךְ בּ֖וּץ [2] Tip'cha וְאַרְגָּמָ֑ן [1] Etnachta וְהָעִ֣יר שׁוּשָׁ֔ן [2] Zaqef צָהֲלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְשָׂמֵֽחָה׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁵And Mordecai, [4] he went out [4] from before the king, [3] in royal clothing [3] of violet and white cloth, [2] and a crown of gold [3] great, [2] and a robe of fine linen [2] and purple; [1] and the city of Susa, [2] it shouted for joy [2] and it rejoiced. [1]
	¹⁶לַיְּהוּדִ֕ים [2] ZaqefG הָֽיְתָ֥ה אוֹרָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְשִׂמְחָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְשָׂשֹׂ֖ן [2] Tip'cha וִיקָֽר׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁶The Jews [2] had light [2] and gladness; [1] and joy [2] and honor. [1]
	¹⁷וּבְכׇל־מְדִינָ֨ה וּמְדִינָ֜ה [4] Geresh וּבְכׇל־עִ֣יר וָעִ֗יר [3] Revi'i מְקוֹם֙ [3] Pashta אֲשֶׁ֨ר דְּבַר־הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ וְדָתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta מַגִּ֔יעַ [2] Zaqef שִׂמְחָ֤ה וְשָׂשׂוֹן֙ [3] Pashta לַיְּהוּדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef מִשְׁתֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְי֣וֹם ט֑וֹב [1] Etnachta וְרַבִּ֞ים [4] Gershayim מֵֽעַמֵּ֤י הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ [3 3] Pashta מִֽתְיַהֲדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef כִּֽי־נָפַ֥ל פַּֽחַד־הַיְּהוּדִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁷And in each province [4] and in each city, [3] the places [3] where the word of the king and his decree [3] reached, [2] gladness and joy, [3] the Jews had, [2] a feast [2] and a day of goodness; [1] and many [4] of the peoples of the land [3 3] became Jews, [2] for fear of the Jews had fallen [2] on them.
