שמות 10 | Exodus 10 | |||
1 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] to Pharaoh; [1] I have hardened his heart [3] and the heart of his servants, [2] I may show [3] these my signs [2] in their midst, [1] |
2 and so [4] you may tell in the hearing of your son [4] and the son of your son, [3] to Egypt, [2] which I have done among them; [1] that I am the LORD.” [1] |
3 So Moses and Aaron went [3] to Pharaoh, [2] “Thus says the LORD, [3] the God of the Hebrews, [2] to humble yourself [2] before me? [1] that they may serve me. [1] |
4 For [3] if you refuse [2] to let my people go; [1] locusts [2] into your territory, [1] |
5 and they shall cover [3] the face of the land, [2] to see the ground; [1] the remainder of what has escaped, [3] from the hail, [2] every tree [2] from the field. [1] |
6 And your houses shall be filled [4] and the houses of all your servants [3 3] and the houses of all the Egyptians, [2 2] or the fathers of your fathers, [2] they were [3] on the earth [2] this day;’ ” [1] from Pharaoh. [1] |
7 And the servants of Pharaoh said [4] to him, [3] will this man be to us [3 3] a snare? [2] the men, [2] the LORD their God; [1] that it is destroyed, [2] Egypt?” [1] |
8 So they were brought back, [4] Moses and Aaron, [3] to Pharaoh, [2] “Go serve [2] the LORD your God; [1] are those who will go?” [1] |
9 And Moses said, [2] “With our young and with our elderly [2] we will go; [1] with our flocks and with our herds [3 3] we will go, [2] we must have.” [1] |
10 But he said to them, [3] “So may the LORD [3] be with you [2] I let you go [2] with your little ones; [1] for evil [2] is before your faces. [1] |
11 Not so. [3] Go now the men [3] and serve the LORD, [2] is what you have asked for.” [1] from [2] the presence of Pharaoh. [1] § |
12 Then the LORD said [4] to Moses, [3] over the land of Egypt [3 3] for the locusts, [2] on the land of Egypt; [1] every plant in the land, [2] all that it has left, [2] the hail.” [1] |
13 So Moses stretched out his staff [3 3] over the land of Egypt, [2 2] he drove an east wind [3] over the land, [2] and all the night; [1] of the east, [2] the locusts. [1] |
14 And the locusts came up [3] over [3] all the land of Egypt, [2] on all [2] the territory of Egypt; [1] there had not been such locusts [3] as they, [2] shall there not be such. [1] |
15 For they covered [4] the surface of all the land, [3 3] so the land grew dark, [2 2] every plant in the land, [3] all the fruit of the trees [2] the hail; [1] or on the plants of the field, [2] in all the land of Egypt. [1] |
16 Then Pharaoh hurried [2] to call [2] for Moses and for Aaron; [1] “I have sinned [3] against the LORD your God, [2] and against you. [1] |
17 Now therefore [3] please forgive my sin [3] just this once, [2] to the LORD your God; [1] from me [2] this death.” [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 So he went out [2] from Pharaoh; [1] to the LORD. [1] |
19 Then the LORD turned the wind from the west, [3] very strong, [2] the locusts, [2] to the Sea of Suf; [1] one locust [2] the territory of Egypt. [1] |
20 But the LORD hardened [2] the heart of Pharaoh; [1] the children of Israel. [1] ¶ |
21 Then the LORD said [4] to Moses, [3] to the heavens, [2] over the land of Egypt; [1] the darkness.” [1] |
22 So Moses stretched out [3] his hand [2] to the heavens; [1] in all the land of Egypt [2] three days. [1] |
23 They could not see [4] one another, [3] anyone from his place, [2] had light [2] in their dwellings. [1] |
24 And Pharaoh called [4] to Moses, [3] “Go, [3] serve the LORD, [2] your flocks and your herds, [2] let them remain behind; [1] let them go with you.” [1] |
25 But Moses said, [2] you must put into our hand [2] sacrifices and burnt offerings; [1] to the LORD our God. [1] |
26 And also our livestock, [4] it must go with us, [3] a hoof, [2] from it we must take [2] the LORD our God; [1] with what we will serve [3] the LORD, [2] there.” [1] |
[1] Silluq |
27 But the LORD hardened [2] the heart of Pharaoh; [1] to let them go. [1] |
28 So Pharaoh said to him, [2] “Go away from me! [1] if you again [3 3] see my face, [2] on the day [3] you see my face, [2] you shall die!” [1] |
29 And Moses said, [2] “Well you have spoken. [1] see your face.” [1] ¶ |
