1 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] to Pharaoh; [1] ‘Thus says the LORD, [3] the God of the Hebrews, [2] that they may serve me. [1] |

| 2 כִּ֛י [3] Tevir אִם־מָאֵ֥ן אַתָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לְשַׁלֵּ֑חַ [1] Etnachta מַחֲזִ֥יק בָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
2 For [3] if you refuse [2] to let them go; [1] hold them, [1] |

| 3 הִנֵּ֨ה יַד־יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Geresh הוֹיָ֗ה [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef בַּגְּמַלִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef וּבַצֹּ֑אן [1] Etnachta כָּבֵ֥ד מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
3 behold the hand of the LORD [4] will be [3] which are in the field, [2] on the camels, [2] and on the flocks; [1] very severe. [1] |

| 4 וְהִפְלָ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מִקְנֵ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef מִקְנֵ֣ה מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta מִכׇּל־לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha דָּבָֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
4 But the LORD will make a distinction [2] the livestock of Israel [2] the livestock of Egypt; [1] of all that belongs to the children of Israel, [2] anything.” ’ ” [1] |

5 And the LORD set [2] an appointed time saying; [1] the LORD shall do [3] this thing [2] in the land.” [1] |

| 6 וַיַּ֨עַשׂ יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Geresh אֶת־הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ [3] Pashta מִֽמׇּחֳרָ֔ת [2] Zaqef כֹּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מִקְנֵ֣ה מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta לֹא־מֵ֥ת אֶחָֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
6 Then the LORD did [4] this thing [3] on the next day, [2] all [2] the livestock of Egypt; [1] not one died. [1] |

| 7 וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef לֹא־מֵ֛ת [3] Tevir מִמִּקְנֵ֥ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha עַד־אֶחָ֑ד [1] Etnachta לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֶת־הָעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq פ |
7 When Pharaoh inquired, [2] it had not died, [3] any of the livestock of the Israelites, [2] even one; [1] the heart of Pharaoh, [2] the people. [1] ¶ |

| 8 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהֹוָה֮ [3] Zarqa אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹן֒ [2] Segol מְלֹ֣א חׇפְנֵיכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef כִּבְשָׁ֑ן [1] Etnachta הַשָּׁמַ֖יְמָה [2] Tip'cha לְעֵינֵ֥י פַרְעֹֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
8 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses and to Aaron, [2] handfuls [2] of a furnace; [1] toward the heavens [2] in the sight of Pharaoh. [1] |

| 9 וְהָיָ֣ה לְאָבָ֔ק [2] Zaqef עַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha כׇּל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וְעַל־הַבְּהֵמָ֗ה [3] Revi'i אֲבַעְבֻּעֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha |
9 And it shall become fine dust [2] over [2] all the land of Egypt; [1] and on animals, [3] (in) sores, [2] |

| 10 וַיִּקְח֞וּ [4] Gershayim אֶת־פִּ֣יחַ הַכִּבְשָׁ֗ן [3] Revi'i לִפְנֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef מֹשֶׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha הַשָּׁמָ֑יְמָה [1] Etnachta שְׁחִין֙ [3] Pashta אֲבַעְבֻּעֹ֔ת [2] Zaqef בָּאָדָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha וּבַבְּהֵמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
10 So they took [4] soot of the furnace, [3] before Pharaoh, [2] Moses, [2] toward the heavens; [1] boils [3] (with) sores [2] on man [2] and on animals. [1] |

| 11 וְלֹֽא־יָכְל֣וּ הַֽחַרְטֻמִּ֗ים [3] Revi'i לַעֲמֹ֛ד [3] Tevir לִפְנֵ֥י מֹשֶׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha מִפְּנֵ֣י הַשְּׁחִ֑ין [1] Etnachta בַּֽחַרְטֻמִּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha וּבְכׇל־מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
11 And the magicians were not able [3] to stand [3] before Moses [2] because of the boils; [1] on the magicians [2] and on all the Egyptians. [1] |

12 But the LORD hardened [3] the heart of Pharaoh, [2] to them; [1] the LORD had said [2] to Moses. [1] § |

| 13 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְהִתְיַצֵּ֖ב [2] Tip'cha לִפְנֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֑ה [1] Etnachta כֹּֽה־אָמַ֤ר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָֽעִבְרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef וְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq |
13 Then the LORD said [3] to Moses, [2] and present yourself [2] before Pharaoh; [1] ‘Thus says the LORD, [3] the God of the Hebrews, [2] that they may serve me. [1] |

| 14 כִּ֣י ׀ [4] Legarmeh בַּפַּ֣עַם הַזֹּ֗את [3] Revi'i אֶת־כׇּל־מַגֵּפֹתַי֙ [3] Pashta אֶֽל־לִבְּךָ֔ [2] Zaqef וּבְעַמֶּ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta אֵ֥ין כָּמֹ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha בְּכׇל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
14 For [4] at this time [3] all my plagues [3] to your heart, [2] and on your people; [1] there is none like me [2] in all the earth. [1] |

| 15 כִּ֤י עַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta שָׁלַ֣חְתִּי אֶת־יָדִ֔י [2] Zaqef וְאֶֽת־עַמְּךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha בַּדָּ֑בֶר [1] Etnachta מִן־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
15 For by now [3] I could have stretched out my hand, [2] and your people [2] with plague; [1] from the earth, [1] |

| 16 וְאוּלָ֗ם [3] Revi'i בַּעֲב֥וּר זֹאת֙ [3] Pashta הֶעֱמַדְתִּ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef הַרְאֹתְךָ֣ אֶת־כֹּחִ֑י [1] Etnachta סַפֵּ֥ר שְׁמִ֖י [2] Tip'cha בְּכׇל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
16 however [3] for this reason [3] I have let you stand, [2] to show you my power; [1] my name may be declared [2] throughout all the earth. [1] |

| 17 עוֹדְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha מִסְתּוֹלֵ֣ל בְּעַמִּ֑י [1] Etnachta שַׁלְּחָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
17 Yet still you [2] exalt yourself over my people; [1] letting them go. [1] |

| 18 הִנְנִ֤י מַמְטִיר֙ [3] Pashta כָּעֵ֣ת מָחָ֔ר [2] Zaqef כָּבֵ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד [1] Etnachta בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef וְעַד־עָֽתָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
18 Behold I will rain down [3] about this time tomorrow, [2] very heavy; [1] in Egypt [2] even up to now. [1] |

| 19 וְעַתָּ֗ה [3] Revi'i שְׁלַ֤ח הָעֵז֙ [3] Pashta אֶֽת־מִקְנְךָ֔ [2] Zaqef כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta אֲשֶֽׁר־יִמָּצֵ֣א בַשָּׂדֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i הַבַּ֔יְתָה [2] Zaqef הַבָּרָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha וָמֵֽתוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
19 Now therefore [3] send word to bring to shelter [3] your livestock, [2] all that you have [2] in the field; [1] that is found in the field, [3] to the house, [2] the hail, [2] they will die.” ’ ” [1] |

20 The one who feared [3] the word of the LORD [2] of Pharaoh; [1] his servants and his livestock, [2] into the houses. [1] |

| 21 וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־שָׂ֛ם [3] Tevir לִבּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha אֶל־דְּבַ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta אֶת־עֲבָדָ֥יו וְאֶת־מִקְנֵ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha בַּשָּׂדֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq פ |
21 But the one who did not set [3] his heart [2] to the word of the LORD; [1] his servants and his livestock [2] in the field. [1] ¶ |

| 22 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Geresh אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה [3] Revi'i עַל־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef בְּכׇל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta וְעַ֛ל [3] Tevir כׇּל־עֵ֥שֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
22 Then the LORD said [4] to Moses, [3] to the heavens, [2] in all the land of Egypt; [1] and on [3] all the vegetation of the field [2] in the land of Egypt.” [1] |

| 23 וַיֵּ֨ט מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶת־מַטֵּ֘הוּ֮ [3 3] Zarqa עַל־הַשָּׁמַ֒יִם֒ [2 2] Segol נָתַ֤ן קֹלֹת֙ [3] Pashta וּבָרָ֔ד [2] Zaqef אָ֑רְצָה [1] Etnachta בָּרָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
23 So Moses stretched out his staff [3 3] toward the heavens, [2 2] he sent thunder [3] and hail, [2] to the ground; [1] hail [2] on the land of Egypt. [1] |

| 24 וַיְהִ֣י בָרָ֔ד [2] Zaqef וְאֵ֕שׁ [2] ZaqefG מִתְלַקַּ֖חַת [2] Tip'cha בְּת֣וֹךְ הַבָּרָ֑ד [1] Etnachta לֹֽא־הָיָ֤ה כָמֹ֙הוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta בְּכׇל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef הָיְתָ֥ה לְגֽוֹי׃ [1] Silluq |
24 And the hail, [2] with lightning [2] flashing [2] in the midst of the hail; [1] there had been none like it [3 3] in all the land of Egypt [2] it became a nation. [1] |

| 25 וַיַּ֨ךְ הַבָּרָ֜ד [4] Geresh בְּכׇל־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם [3] Revi'i כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta הִכָּ֣ה הַבָּרָ֔ד [2] Zaqef שִׁבֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
25 And the hail struck [4] throughout all the land of Egypt [3] all that was in the field, [2] to animals; [1] the hail struck, [2] it shattered. [1] |

| 26 רַ֚ק [3] Yetiv בְּאֶ֣רֶץ גֹּ֔שֶׁן [2] Zaqef בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta בָּרָֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
26 Only [3] in the land of Goshen [2] the children of Israel were; [1] hail. [1] |

| 27 וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח פַּרְעֹ֗ה [3] Revi'i וַיִּקְרָא֙ [3] Pashta לְמֹשֶׁ֣ה וּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֔ן [2] Zaqef חָטָ֣אתִי הַפָּ֑עַם [1] Etnachta הַצַּדִּ֔יק [2] Zaqef הָרְשָׁעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
27 So Pharaoh sent [3] and he called [3] for Moses and for Aaron, [2] “I have sinned this time; [1] is the righteous one, [2] are the guilty ones. [1] |

| 28 הַעְתִּ֙ירוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta אֶל־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef קֹלֹ֥ת אֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha וּבָרָ֑ד [1] Etnachta וְלֹ֥א תֹסִפ֖וּן [2] Tip'cha לַעֲמֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
28 Pray [3 3] to the LORD, [2] of the thunder claps of God [2] and the hail; [1] and you no longer [2] shall stay.” [1] |

| 29 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ [3] Pashta מֹשֶׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֶת־הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef אֶל־יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְהַבָּרָד֙ [3] Pashta לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֔וֹד [2] Zaqef כִּ֥י לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
29 And he said to him, [3] Moses, [2] the city, [2] to the LORD; [1] and the hail, [3] it will not happen any more, [2] that the LORD’s [2] is the earth. [1] |

30 But you [2] and your servants; [1] you do not yet fear [2] the LORD God.” [1] |

| 31 וְהַפִּשְׁתָּ֥ה וְהַשְּׂעֹרָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha נֻכָּ֑תָה [1] Etnachta אָבִ֔יב [2] Zaqef גִּבְעֹֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
31 And the flax and the barley, [2] they were struck; [1] was in the ear [2] was in bloom. [1] |

| 32 וְהַחִטָּ֥ה וְהַכֻּסֶּ֖מֶת [2] Tip'cha לֹ֣א נֻכּ֑וּ [1] Etnachta הֵֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
32 But the wheat and the spelt, [2] they were not struck; [1] are they. [1] |

| 33 וַיֵּצֵ֨א מֹשֶׁ֜ה [4] Geresh מֵעִ֤ם פַּרְעֹה֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־הָעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef אֶל־יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְהַבָּרָ֔ד [2] Zaqef לֹא־נִתַּ֥ךְ אָֽרְצָה׃ [1] Silluq |
33 And Moses went out [4] from Pharaoh [3] from the city, [2] to the LORD; [1] and the hail, [2] it no longer poured out onto the earth. [1] |

| 34 וַיַּ֣רְא פַּרְעֹ֗ה [3] Revi'i כִּֽי־חָדַ֨ל הַמָּטָ֧ר וְהַבָּרָ֛ד [3] Tevir וְהַקֹּלֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha וַיֹּ֣סֶף לַחֲטֹ֑א [1] Etnachta ה֥וּא וַעֲבָדָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
34 But when Pharaoh saw [3] that the rain and the hail had ceased [3] and the thunder claps, [2] he sinned again; [1] he and his servants. [1] |

35 So it was hardened, [3] the heart of Pharaoh, [2] the children of Israel; [1] the LORD had said [2] by the hand of Moses. [1] ¶ |
