1 And the LORD spoke [2] to Moses saying, [1] |

| 2 קַדֶּשׁ־לִ֨י כׇל־בְּכ֜וֹר [4] Geresh פֶּ֤טֶר כׇּל־רֶ֙חֶם֙ [3 3] Pashta בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef וּבַבְּהֵמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq |
2 “Consecrate to me every firstborn, [4] the firstborn of every womb [3 3] among the children of Israel, [2] and of animal; [1] it is.” [1] |

| 3 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה [4] Geresh אֶל־הָעָ֗ם [3] Revi'i אֶת־הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ [3] Pashta מִבֵּ֣ית עֲבָדִ֔ים [2] Zaqef בְּחֹ֣זֶק יָ֔ד [2] Zaqef אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha מִזֶּ֑ה [1] Etnachta חָמֵֽץ׃ [1] Silluq |
3 And Moses said [4] to the people, [3] this day, [3] from a house of bondage, [2] by a strong hand [2] you [2] from this place; [1] leaven. [1] |

| 5 וְהָיָ֣ה כִֽי־יְבִיאֲךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֡ה [4] Pazer אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ הַֽ֠כְּנַעֲנִ֠י [4 4] TelishaG וְהַחִתִּ֨י וְהָאֱמֹרִ֜י [4] Geresh וְהַחִוִּ֣י וְהַיְבוּסִ֗י [3] Revi'i לָ֣תֶת לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef זָבַ֥ת חָלָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha וּדְבָ֑שׁ [1] Etnachta אֶת־הָעֲבֹדָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את [2] Tip'cha בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
5 And it shall be when the LORD brings you [4] into the land of the Canaanite [4 4] and the Hittite and the Amorite [4] and the Hivite and the Jebusite [3] to give to you, [2] flowing with milk [2] and honey; [1] this ceremony [2] in this month. [1] |

6 Seven days [2] you shall eat unleavened bread; [1] the seventh [2] to the LORD. [1] |

7 Unleavened bread, [3] it shall be eaten [2] the seven days; [1] leaven, [3] yeast, [2] |

| 8 וְהִגַּדְתָּ֣ לְבִנְךָ֔ [2] Zaqef בַּיּ֥וֹם הַה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta עָשָׂ֤ה יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta לִ֔י [2] Zaqef מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
8 And you shall tell your son [2] on that day [2] saying; [1] the LORD did [3] for me [2] from Egypt.’ [1] |

| 9 וְהָיָה֩ לְךָ֨ לְא֜וֹת [4] Geresh עַל־יָדְךָ֗ [3] Revi'i בֵּ֣ין עֵינֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef תִּהְיֶ֛ה [3] Tevir תּוֹרַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּפִ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta בְּיָ֣ד חֲזָקָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
9 So it shall be for you a sign [4] on your hand, [3] between your eyes, [2] it may be, [3] the law of the LORD, [2] in your mouth; [1] by a strong hand [2] from Egypt. [1] |

| 10 וְשָׁמַרְתָּ֛ [3] Tevir אֶת־הַחֻקָּ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את [2] Tip'cha לְמוֹעֲדָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta יָמִֽימָה׃ [1] Silluq פ |
10 And you shall keep [3] this ordinance [2] at its appointed time; [1] to days. [1] ¶ |

| 11 וְהָיָ֞ה [4] Gershayim כִּֽי־יְבִאֲךָ֤ יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֔י [2] Zaqef נִשְׁבַּ֥ע לְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha וְלַֽאֲבֹתֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta לָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
11 “And it shall be, [4] when the LORD brings you [3] into the land of the Canaanite, [2] he swore to you [2] and to your fathers; [1] to you, [1] |

| 12 וְהַעֲבַרְתָּ֥ כׇל־פֶּֽטֶר־רֶ֖חֶם [2] Tip'cha לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta שֶׁ֣גֶר בְּהֵמָ֗ה [3] Revi'i הַזְּכָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha |
12 that you shall set apart every firstborn of the womb [2] to the LORD; [1] of the offspring of an animal [3] the males, [2] |

| 13 וְכׇל־פֶּ֤טֶר חֲמֹר֙ [3] Pashta תִּפְדֶּ֣ה בְשֶׂ֔ה [2] Zaqef וַעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta בְּבָנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha תִּפְדֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
13 And every firstborn of a donkey [3] you shall redeem with a lamb, [2] you shall break its neck; [1] among your sons, [2] you shall redeem. [1] |

| 14 וְהָיָ֞ה [4] Gershayim כִּֽי־יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ בִנְךָ֛ [3] Tevir מָחָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לֵאמֹ֣ר מַה־זֹּ֑את [1] Etnachta הוֹצִיאָ֧נוּ יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Tevir מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha מִבֵּ֥ית עֲבָדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
14 So it shall be [4] when your son asks you [3] in times to come, [2] saying ‘What is this?’ [1] the LORD brought us out [3] from Egypt, [2] from a house of bondage, [1] |

| 15 וַיְהִ֗י [3] Revi'i כִּֽי־הִקְשָׁ֣ה פַרְעֹה֮ [3] Zarqa לְשַׁלְּחֵ֒נוּ֒ [2 2] Segol בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef וְעַד־בְּכ֣וֹר בְּהֵמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta לַֽיהֹוָ֗ה [3] Revi'i הַזְּכָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אֶפְדֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
15 and it was, [3] when Pharaoh stubbornly refused [3] to let us go, [2 2] in the land of Egypt, [2] to the firstborn of animals; [1] to the LORD [3] the males, [2] I redeem.’ [1] |

| 16 וְהָיָ֤ה לְאוֹת֙ [3] Pashta עַל־יָ֣דְכָ֔ה [2] Zaqef בֵּ֣ין עֵינֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta בְּחֹ֣זֶק יָ֔ד [2] Zaqef מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq ס |
16 So it shall be for a sign [3] on your hand, [2] between your eyes; [1] by strength of hand [2] from Egypt.” [1] § |

| 17 וַיְהִ֗י [3] Revi'i בְּשַׁלַּ֣ח פַּרְעֹה֮ [3] Zarqa אֶת־הָעָם֒ [2] Segol דֶּ֚רֶךְ [3] Yetiv אֶ֣רֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef ה֑וּא [1] Etnachta אָמַ֣ר אֱלֹהִ֗ים [3] Revi'i בִּרְאֹתָ֥ם מִלְחָמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha |
17 And it was, [3] when Pharaoh had let (them) go, [3] the people, [2] along the road [3] to the land of the Philistines [2] it was; [1] God said, [3] if they see battle, [2] |

| 18 וַיַּסֵּ֨ב אֱלֹהִ֧ים ׀ אֶת־הָעָ֛ם [3] Tevir דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר [2] Tip'cha יַם־ס֑וּף [1] Etnachta עָל֥וּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq |
18 So God led the people around [3] by the way of the wilderness [2] to the Sea of Suf; [1] the children of Israel went up [2] from the land of Egypt. [1] |

| 19 וַיִּקַּ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֛ה [3] Tevir אֶת־עַצְמ֥וֹת יוֹסֵ֖ף [2] Tip'cha עִמּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta אֶת־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ [3] Pashta לֵאמֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef אֶתְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef מִזֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אִתְּכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
19 And Moses took [3] the bones of Joseph [2] with him; [1] the children of Israel, [3] saying, [2] you, [2] from here [2] with you.” [1] |

20 So they set out [2] from Succoth; [1] on the edge [2] of the wilderness. [1] |

| 21 וַֽיהֹוָ֡ה [4] Pazer הֹלֵךְ֩ לִפְנֵיהֶ֨ם יוֹמָ֜ם [4] Geresh בְּעַמּ֤וּד עָנָן֙ [3] Pashta לַנְחֹתָ֣ם הַדֶּ֔רֶךְ [2] Zaqef בְּעַמּ֥וּד אֵ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha לְהָאִ֣יר לָהֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta יוֹמָ֥ם וָלָֽיְלָה׃ [1] Silluq |
21 And the LORD [4] went before them by day [4] in a pillar of cloud, [3] to lead them (on) the way, [2] in a pillar of fire, [2] to give them light; [1] by day and by night. [1] |

22 It did not depart, [4] the pillar of cloud [3] by day, [2] by night; [1] the people. [1] ¶ |
