	¹וַיִּגַּע֙ [3] Pashta הַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י [2] Zaqef וּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha בֶּעָרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta ס וַיֵּאָסְפ֥וּ הָעָ֛ם [3] Tevir כְּאִ֥ישׁ אֶחָ֖ד [2] Tip'cha אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹When it came, [3] the seventh month, [2] and the people of Israel [2] were in the cities; [1] § the people gathered together [3] as one man, [2] to Jerusalem. 	²וַיָּ֩קׇם֩ יֵשׁ֨וּעַ בֶּן־יֽוֹצָדָ֜ק [4] Geresh וְאֶחָ֣יו הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים [3] Revi'i וּזְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ [3] Pashta וְאֶחָ֔יו [2] Zaqef וַיִּבְנ֕וּ [2] ZaqefG אֶת־מִזְבַּ֖ח [2] Tip'cha אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta לְהַעֲל֤וֹת עָלָיו֙ [3] Pashta עֹל֔וֹת [2] Zaqef כַּכָּת֕וּב [2] ZaqefG בְּתוֹרַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha מֹשֶׁ֥ה אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq		²And he arose, Yeshua son of Jozadak, [4] and his brothers the priests, [3] and Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel [3] and his brothers, [2] and they rebuilt [2] the altar [2] of the God of Israel; [1] to offer up on it [3] burnt offerings, [2] as it is written [2] in the Torah [2] of Moses the man of God. [1]
	³וַיָּכִ֤ינוּ הַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ [3 3] Pashta עַל־מְכ֣וֹנֹתָ֔יו [2] Zaqef כִּ֚י [3] Yetiv בְּאֵימָ֣ה עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef מֵעַמֵּ֖י [2] Tip'cha הָאֲרָצ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta ויעל *וַיַּעֲל֨וּ עָלָ֤יו עֹלוֹת֙ [3] Pashta לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef עֹל֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha לַבֹּ֥קֶר וְלָעָֽרֶב׃ [1] Silluq		³And they set the altar [3 3] in its place, [2] for [3] fear was on them [2] from the peoples [2] of the lands; [1] and they offered up on it burnt offerings [3] to the LORD, [2] burnt offerings [2] morning and evening. [1]
	⁴וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ [3] Tevir אֶת־חַ֥ג הַסֻּכּ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha כַּכָּת֑וּב [1] Etnachta וְעֹלַ֨ת י֤וֹם בְּיוֹם֙ [3] Pashta בְּמִסְפָּ֔ר [2] Zaqef כְּמִשְׁפַּ֖ט [2] Tip'cha דְּבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq		⁴And they celebrated [3] the feast of booths, [2] as it is written; [1] and offered each day's burnt offerings [3] by number, [2] according to the ordinance [2] as was required for each day, [1]
	⁵וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֞ן [4] Gershayim עֹלַ֤ת תָּמִיד֙ [3] Pashta וְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔ים [2] Zaqef וּלְכׇל־מוֹעֲדֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha הַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta וּלְכֹ֛ל [3] Tevir מִתְנַדֵּ֥ב נְדָבָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לַיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		⁵and afterwards [4] the continual burnt offering, [3] and (the offerings) for the new moons, [2] and for all the appointed times of the LORD [2] that were consecrated; [1] and for all [3] who offered a freewill offering [2] to the LORD. [1]
	⁶מִיּ֤וֹם אֶחָד֙ [3] Pashta לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י [2] Zaqef הֵחֵ֕לּוּ [2] ZaqefG לְהַעֲל֥וֹת עֹל֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha לַיהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וְהֵיכַ֥ל יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לֹ֥א יֻסָּֽד׃ [1] Silluq		⁶From the first day [3] of the seventh month, [2] they began [2] to offer up burnt offerings [2] to the LORD; [1] but the temple of the LORD, [2] not yet laid was its foundation. [1]
	⁷וַיִּ֨תְּנוּ־כֶ֔סֶף [2] Zaqef לַחֹצְבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha וְלֶחָרָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta וּמַאֲכָ֨ל וּמִשְׁתֶּ֜ה [4] Geresh וָשֶׁ֗מֶן [3] Revi'i לַצִּֽדֹנִים֙ [3] Pashta וְלַצֹּרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef לְהָבִיא֩ עֲצֵ֨י אֲרָזִ֤ים מִן־הַלְּבָנוֹן֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־יָ֣ם יָפ֔וֹא [2] Zaqef כְּרִשְׁי֛וֹן [3] Tevir כּ֥וֹרֶשׁ מֶֽלֶךְ־פָּרַ֖ס [2] Tip'cha עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq פ		⁷And the people gave money [2] to the masons [2] and to the craftsmen; [1] and food and drink [4] and oil [3] to the people of Sidon [3] and to the people of Tyre, [2] to bring cedar trees from Lebanon [3] to the sea, to Joppa, [2] according to the permission [3] of Cyrus the King of Persia [2] to them. [1] ¶
	⁸וּבַשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשֵּׁנִ֗ית [3] Revi'i לְבוֹאָ֞ם [4] Gershayim אֶל־בֵּ֤ית הָֽאֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta לִיר֣וּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם [2] Zaqef בַּחֹ֖דֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha הַשֵּׁנִ֑י [1] Etnachta הֵחֵ֡לּוּ [4] Pazer זְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל בֶּן־שְׁ֠אַלְתִּיאֵ֠ל [4 4] TelishaG וְיֵשׁ֨וּעַ בֶּן־יֽוֹצָדָ֜ק [4] Geresh וּשְׁאָ֥ר אֲחֵיהֶ֣ם ׀ [4] Legarmeh הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֗ם [3] Revi'i וְכׇל־הַבָּאִים֙ [3] Pashta מֵהַשְּׁבִ֣י יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֔͏ִם [2] Zaqef וַיַּעֲמִ֣ידוּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֗ם [3] Revi'i מִבֶּ֨ן עֶשְׂרִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ [3] Pashta וָמַ֔עְלָה [2] Zaqef לְנַצֵּ֖חַ [2] Tip'cha עַל־מְלֶ֥אכֶת בֵּית־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		⁸Now in the second year [3] of their coming [4] to the house of God, [3] to Jerusalem, [2] in month [2] the second; [1] they began, [4] Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, [4 4] and Yeshua son of Jozadak, [4] and the rest of their brothers [4] the priests and the Levites, [3] and all who had come [3] from the captivity to Jerusalem, [2] and they appointed the Levites, [3] from twenty years old [3] and upward, [2] to act as overseers [2] over the work of the house of the LORD. [1]
	⁹וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד יֵשׁ֡וּעַ [4] Pazer בָּנָ֣יו וְ֠אֶחָ֠יו [4 4] TelishaG קַדְמִיאֵ֨ל וּבָנָ֤יו בְּנֵֽי־יְהוּדָה֙ [3] Pashta כְּאֶחָ֔ד [2] Zaqef לְנַצֵּ֛חַ [3] Tevir עַל־עֹשֵׂ֥ה הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּבֵ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים [1] Etnachta ס בְּנֵי֙ [3] Pashta חֵֽנָדָ֔ד [2] Zaqef בְּנֵיהֶ֥ם וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ [1] Silluq		⁹Then Yeshua stood, [4] his sons and his brothers, [4 4] Kadmiel and his sons, the sons of Judah, [3] together, [2] to act as overseers [3] over the workmen [2] in the house of God; [1] § the sons [3] of Henadad, [2] their sons and their brothers [2] the Levites. [1]
	¹⁰וְיִסְּד֥וּ הַבֹּנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha אֶת־הֵיכַ֣ל יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַיַּעֲמִ֩ידוּ֩ הַכֹּהֲנִ֨ים מְלֻבָּשִׁ֜ים [4] Geresh בַּחֲצֹֽצְר֗וֹת [3] Revi'i וְהַלְוִיִּ֤ם בְּנֵֽי־אָסָף֙ [3] Pashta בַּֽמְצִלְתַּ֔יִם [2] Zaqef לְהַלֵּל֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef עַל־יְדֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha דָּוִ֥יד מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁰When the builders laid the foundation [2] of the temple of the LORD; [1] they appointed the priests in their clothing [4] with trumpets, [3] and the Levites the sons of Asaph [3] with cymbals, [2] to praise [3] the LORD [2] according to the directions [2] of David king of Israel. [1]
	¹¹וַֽ֠יַּעֲנ֠וּ [4 4] TelishaG בְּהַלֵּ֨ל וּבְהוֹדֹ֤ת לַֽיהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב [2] Zaqef כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָ֥ם חַסְדּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta וְכׇל־הָעָ֡ם [4] Pazer הֵרִ֩יעוּ֩ תְרוּעָ֨ה גְדוֹלָ֤ה בְהַלֵּל֙ [3] Pashta לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef עַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha הוּסַ֥ד בֵּית־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹And they sang [4 4] with praising and with giving thanks to the LORD, [3] “For he is good, [2] for forever is his lovingkindness [2] toward Israel.” [1] And all the people, [4] they shouted a shout of joy great with praise [3] to the LORD, [2] because [2] its foundation was laid, the house of the LORD. [1]
	¹²וְרַבִּ֡ים [4] Pazer מֵהַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּם֩ וְרָאשֵׁ֨י הָאָב֜וֹת [4] Geresh הַזְּקֵנִ֗ים [3] Revi'i אֲשֶׁ֨ר רָא֜וּ [4] Geresh אֶת־הַבַּ֤יִת הָֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ [3] Pashta בְּיׇסְד֔וֹ [2] Zaqef זֶ֤ה הַבַּ֙יִת֙ [3 3] Pashta בְּעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef בֹּכִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha בְּק֣וֹל גָּד֑וֹל [1] Etnachta וְרַבִּ֛ים [3] Tevir בִּתְרוּעָ֥ה בְשִׂמְחָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha לְהָרִ֥ים קֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq		¹²But many [4] of the priests and the Levites and heads of the fathers [4] who were elderly, [3] who had seen [4] the first house [3] on its foundation, [2] this house [3 3] when they saw it, [2] were weeping [2] with a loud voice; [1] and many [3] with a shout of joy [2] were lifting up the voice, [1]
	¹³וְאֵ֣ין הָעָ֗ם [3] Revi'i מַכִּירִים֙ [3] Pashta ק֚וֹל [3] Yetiv תְּרוּעַ֣ת הַשִּׂמְחָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לְק֖וֹל [2] Tip'cha בְּכִ֣י הָעָ֑ם [1] Etnachta כִּ֣י הָעָ֗ם [3] Revi'i מְרִיעִים֙ [3] Pashta תְּרוּעָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְהַקּ֥וֹל נִשְׁמַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha עַד־לְמֵרָחֽוֹק׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹³and the people could not [3] discern [3] the sound [3] of the shout of joy [2] from the sound [2] of the weeping of the people; [1] for the people [3] were shouting [3] a great shout, [2] and the sound was heard [2] far away.
