1 And it was, [3] in the days [3] of Amraphel king of Shinar, [2] king of Ellasar; [1] king of Elam, [2] king of Goiim, [1] |

| 2 עָשׂ֣וּ מִלְחָמָ֗ה [3] Revi'i אֶת־בֶּ֙רַע֙ [3 3] Pashta מֶ֣לֶךְ סְדֹ֔ם [2] Zaqef מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲמֹרָ֑ה [1] Etnachta מֶ֣לֶךְ אַדְמָ֗ה [3] Revi'i מֶ֣לֶךְ *צביים **צְבוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef הִיא־צֹֽעַר׃ [1] Silluq |
2 they made war [3] with Bera [3 3] king of Sodom, [2] king of Gomorrah; [1] king of Admah, [3] king of Zeboiim, [2] that is, Zoar. [1] |

3 All these, [3 3] they joined together [2] of Siddim; [1] the Sea of Salt. [1] |

6 and the Horites [2] in their hill country of Seir; [1] El Paran, [2] by the wilderness. [1] |

7 And they returned, [4 4] and they came [4] to En Mishpat, [3] that is, Kadesh, [2] all the region [2] of the Amalekites; [1] the Amorites [2] in Hazazon Tamar. [1] |

8 And the king of Sodom went out [4] and the king of Gomorrah, [3] and the king of Zeboiim, [2] that is, Zoar; [1] in battle [2] of Siddim, [1] |

10 Now the valley of Siddim [3] was full of pits [3] of tar, [2] the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah, [2] and some fell there; [1] they fled to the hill country. [1] |

11 And they took [4 4] all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, [3] and all their food, [2] and they departed. [1] |

| 12 וַיִּקְח֨וּ אֶת־ל֧וֹט וְאֶת־רְכֻשׁ֛וֹ [3] Tevir בֶּן־אֲחִ֥י אַבְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ [1] Etnachta בִּסְדֹֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And they took Lot and his goods, [3] the son of the brother of Abram, [2] and they departed. [1] in Sodom. [1] |

13 And he came, [3] one who had escaped, [2] Abram the Hebrew. [1] of Mamre the Amorite, [3] and brother of Aner, [2] allies of Abram. [1] |

| 14 וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef כִּ֥י נִשְׁבָּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אָחִ֑יו [1] Etnachta יְלִידֵ֣י בֵית֗וֹ [3] Revi'i וּשְׁלֹ֣שׁ מֵא֔וֹת [2] Zaqef עַד־דָּֽן׃ [1] Silluq |
14 When Abram heard [2] that he had been taken captive, [2] his relative; [1] born in his household, [3] and three hundred, [2] as far as Dan. [1] |

| 15 וַיֵּחָלֵ֨ק עֲלֵיהֶ֧ם ׀ לַ֛יְלָה [3] Tevir ה֥וּא וַעֲבָדָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha וַיַּכֵּ֑ם [1] Etnachta עַד־חוֹבָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לְדַמָּֽשֶׂק׃ [1] Silluq |
15 And divided himself against them by night [3] he and his servants, [2] and he attacked them; [1] to Hobah, [2] of Damascus. [1] |

16 And he brought back [2] -- [2] all the goods; [1] he brought back, [2] and the other people. [1] |

| 17 וַיֵּצֵ֣א מֶֽלֶךְ־סְדֹם֮ [3] Zarqa לִקְרָאתוֹ֒ [2] Segol מֵֽהַכּוֹת֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־כְּדׇרְלָעֹ֔מֶר [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta ה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha עֵ֥מֶק הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq |
17 And the king of Sodom went out [3] to meet him, [2] from defeating [3] Chedorlaomer [2] who were with him; [1] that is [2] the Valley of the King. [1] |

18 And Melchizedek [3 3] king of Salem, [2] bread and wine; [1] of God Most High. [1] |

| 19 וַֽיְבָרְכֵ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha וַיֹּאמַ֑ר [1] Etnachta לְאֵ֣ל עֶלְי֔וֹן [2] Zaqef שָׁמַ֥יִם וָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq |
19 And he blessed him [2] and he said; [1] by God Most High, [2] of heaven and earth. [1] |

| 20 וּבָרוּךְ֙ [3] Pashta אֵ֣ל עֶלְי֔וֹן [2] Zaqef בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta מִכֹּֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
20 And blessed be [3] God Most High, [2] into your hand.” [1] of everything. [1] |

21 And the king of Sodom said [2] to Abram; [1] and the goods [2] take for yourself.” [1] |

22 And Abram said [2] to the king of Sodom; [1] God Most High, [2] of heaven and earth, [1] |

| 23 אִם־מִחוּט֙ [3] Pashta וְעַ֣ד שְׂרֽוֹךְ־נַ֔עַל [2] Zaqef מִכׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־לָ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta אֲנִ֖י [2] Tip'cha הֶעֱשַׁ֥רְתִּי אֶת־אַבְרָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
23 that neither a thread [3] nor a strap of a sandal [2] nor anything that is yours; [1] ‘I, [2] I have made Abram rich.’ [1] |
