| 1 וַיְהִ֣י אַבְרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef בֶּן־תִּשְׁעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha וְתֵ֣שַׁע שָׁנִ֑ים [1] Etnachta אֶל־אַבְרָ֗ם [3] Revi'i אֲנִי־אֵ֣ל שַׁדַּ֔י [2] Zaqef וֶהְיֵ֥ה תָמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
1 And Abram was [2] a son of ninety years [2] and nine years; [1] to Abram [3] “I am God Almighty. [2] and be blameless, [1] |

| 2 וְאֶתְּנָ֥ה בְרִיתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta בִּמְאֹ֥ד מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
2 so that I may make my covenant [2] between me and you; [1] exceedingly.” [1] |

| 3 וַיִּפֹּ֥ל אַבְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha עַל־פָּנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta אֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha לֵאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
3 And Abram fell [2] on his face; [1] God, [2] saying, [1] |

| 4 אֲנִ֕י [2] ZaqefG הִנֵּ֥ה בְרִיתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha אִתָּ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta לְאַ֖ב [2] Tip'cha הֲמ֥וֹן גּוֹיִֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
4 “As for me, [2] behold, my covenant [2] is with you; [1] the father [2] of a multitude of nations. [1] |

| 5 וְלֹא־יִקָּרֵ֥א ע֛וֹד [3] Tevir אֶת־שִׁמְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha אַבְרָ֑ם [1] Etnachta אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef אַב־הֲמ֥וֹן גּוֹיִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha נְתַתִּֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
5 And it will no more be called, [3] your name, [2] Abram; [1] Abraham, [2] the father of a multitude of nations, [2] I have made you. [1] |

| 6 וְהִפְרֵתִ֤י אֹֽתְךָ֙ [3] Pashta בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef לְגוֹיִ֑ם [1] Etnachta מִמְּךָ֥ יֵצֵֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 And I will make fruitful you [3] exceedingly, [2] into nations; [1] from you they will come out. [1] |

| 7 וַהֲקִמֹתִ֨י אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֜י [4] Geresh בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֗ךָ [3] Revi'i לְדֹרֹתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים [2] Zaqef אַחֲרֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
7 And I will establish my covenant [4] between me and you, [3] throughout their generations, [2] God, [2] after you. [1] |

| 8 וְנָתַתִּ֣י לְ֠ךָ֠ [4 4] TelishaG וּלְזַרְעֲךָ֨ אַחֲרֶ֜יךָ [4] Geresh אֵ֣ת ׀ [4] Legarmeh אֶ֣רֶץ מְגֻרֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i כׇּל־אֶ֣רֶץ כְּנַ֔עַן [2] Zaqef עוֹלָ֑ם [1] Etnachta לֵאלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
8 And I will give to you, [4 4] and to your offspring after you, [4] the [4] land where you are traveling, [3] whole land of Canaan, [2] everlasting; [1] God.” [1] |

| 9 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef אֶת־בְּרִיתִ֣י תִשְׁמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta וְזַרְעֲךָ֥ אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha לְדֹרֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
9 And God said [3] to Abraham, [2] my covenant you will keep; [1] and your offspring after you, [2] throughout their generations. [1] |

| 10 זֹ֣את בְּרִיתִ֞י [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁמְר֗וּ [3] Revi'i וּבֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta כׇּל־זָכָֽר׃ [1] Silluq |
10 This is my covenant [4] which you shall keep, [3] and you, [2] after you; [1] every male. [1] |

| 11 וּנְמַלְתֶּ֕ם [2] ZaqefG אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha בְּשַׂ֣ר עׇרְלַתְכֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta לְא֣וֹת בְּרִ֔ית [2] Zaqef וּבֵינֵיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
11 And you shall circumcise [2] the [2] flesh of your foreskin; [1] a sign of the covenant [2] and you. [1] |

| 12 וּבֶן־שְׁמֹנַ֣ת יָמִ֗ים [3] Revi'i יִמּ֥וֹל לָכֶ֛ם [3] Tevir כׇּל־זָכָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta מִכֹּ֣ל בֶּן־נֵכָ֔ר [2] Zaqef לֹ֥א מִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And a son of eight days, [3] he will be circumcised among you, [3] every male, [2] throughout your generations; [1] from any foreigner, [2] not of one your offspring [2] is he. [1] |

| 13 הִמּ֧וֹל ׀ יִמּ֛וֹל [3] Tevir יְלִ֥יד בֵּֽיתְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha וּמִקְנַ֣ת כַּסְפֶּ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta בִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
13 He must be circumcised, [3] the one born in your household, [2] and the one bought with your money; [1] in your flesh, [2] for an everlasting covenant. [1] |

| 14 וְעָרֵ֣ל ׀ [4] Legarmeh זָכָ֗ר [3] Revi'i אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר עׇרְלָת֔וֹ [2] Zaqef הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא [2] Tip'cha מֵעַמֶּ֑יהָ [1] Etnachta הֵפַֽר׃ [1] Silluq ס |
14 And an uncircumcised [4] male [3] the flesh of his foreskin, [2] that person, [2] from his people. [1] he has broken.” [1] § |

| 15 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta אֶל־אַבְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef לֹא־תִקְרָ֥א אֶת־שְׁמָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha שָׂרָ֑י [1] Etnachta שְׁמָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
15 And God said [3] to Abraham, [2] you shall not call her name [2] Sarai; [1] will be her name. [1] |

| 16 וּבֵרַכְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef לְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha בֵּ֑ן [1] Etnachta וְהָֽיְתָ֣ה לְגוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef מִמֶּ֥נָּה יִהְיֽוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
16 And I will bless her, [2] to you, [2] a son; [1] and she will become nations. [2] from her they will be.” [1] |

| 17 וַיִּפֹּ֧ל אַבְרָהָ֛ם [3] Tevir עַל־פָּנָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha וַיִּצְחָ֑ק [1] Etnachta הַלְּבֶ֤ן מֵאָֽה־שָׁנָה֙ [3] Pashta יִוָּלֵ֔ד [2] Zaqef הֲבַת־תִּשְׁעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha תֵּלֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq |
17 Then Abraham fell [3] on his face, [2] and he laughed; [1] “To a son of one hundred years [3] will he be born? [2] a daughter of ninety years, [2] will she bear a child?” [1] |

| 18 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר אַבְרָהָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha אֶל־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים [1] Etnachta יִחְיֶ֥ה לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
18 And Abraham said [2] to God; [1] might live before you!” [1] |

| 19 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים [3] Revi'i אֲבָל֙ [3] Pashta שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתְּךָ֗ [3] Revi'i יֹלֶ֤דֶת לְךָ֙ [3] Pashta בֵּ֔ן [2] Zaqef יִצְחָ֑ק [1] Etnachta לִבְרִ֥ית עוֹלָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha לְזַרְע֥וֹ אַחֲרָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
19 And God said, [3] “But [3] Sarah your wife [3] is about to bear to you [3] a son, [2] Isaac; [1] for an everlasting covenant, [2] for his offspring after him. [1] |

| 20 וּֽלְיִשְׁמָעֵאל֮ [3] Zarqa שְׁמַעְתִּ֒יךָ֒ [2 2] Segol בֵּרַ֣כְתִּי אֹת֗וֹ [3] Revi'i וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֥י אֹת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha יוֹלִ֔יד [2] Zaqef לְג֥וֹי גָּדֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq |
20 As for Ishmael [3] I have heard you. [2 2] I will bless him, [3] and I will multiply him, [2] he will father, [2] into a great nation. [1] |

| 21 וְאֶת־בְּרִיתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha אָקִ֣ים אֶת־יִצְחָ֑ק [1] Etnachta לַמּוֹעֵ֣ד הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef הָאַחֶֽרֶת׃ [1] Silluq |
21 But my covenant [2] I will establish with Isaac; [1] at this time [2] coming.” [1] |

| 22 וַיְכַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha לְדַבֵּ֣ר אִתּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta מֵעַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha אַבְרָהָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
22 And he finished [2] speaking with him; [1] from [2] Abraham. [1] |

| 23 וַיִּקַּ֨ח אַבְרָהָ֜ם [4] Geresh אֶת־יִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל בְּנ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta כׇּל־מִקְנַ֣ת כַּסְפּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef בְּאַנְשֵׁ֖י [2] Tip'cha בֵּ֣ית אַבְרָהָ֑ם [1] Etnachta אֶת־בְּשַׂ֣ר עׇרְלָתָ֗ם [3] Revi'i הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef דִּבֶּ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
23 And Abraham took [4] Ishmael his son, [3] and [3] all who were bought with his money, [2] among the men [2] of the household of Abraham; [1] the flesh of their foreskin, [3] this day, [2] he had said to him, [2] God. [1] |

| 24 וְאַ֨בְרָהָ֔ם [2] Zaqef בֶּן־תִּשְׁעִ֥ים וָתֵ֖שַׁע [2] Tip'cha שָׁנָ֑ה [1] Etnachta בְּשַׂ֥ר עׇרְלָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
24 And Abraham [2] was a son of ninety and nine [2] years; [1] the flesh of his foreskin. [1] |

| 25 וְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אל בְּנ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef בֶּן־שְׁלֹ֥שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה [2] Tip'cha שָׁנָ֑ה [1] Etnachta אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha בְּשַׂ֥ר עׇרְלָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
25 And Ishmael his son [2] was a son of three and ten [2] years; [1] the [2] flesh of his foreskin. [1] |

| 26 בְּעֶ֙צֶם֙ [3 3] Pashta הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef אַבְרָהָ֑ם [1] Etnachta בְּנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
26 On the same, [3 3] this day, [2] Abraham; [1] his son. [1] |

| 27 וְכׇל־אַנְשֵׁ֤י בֵיתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta יְלִ֣יד בָּ֔יִת [2] Zaqef מֵאֵ֣ת בֶּן־נֵכָ֑ר [1] Etnachta אִתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq פ |
27 And all the men of his household, [3] those born in the household, [2] from a foreigner; [1] with him. [1] ¶ |
