הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה [2] Zaqef
 
חָ֥טְא֛וּ [3] Tevir
מַשְׁקֵ֥ה מֶֽלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
וְהָאֹפֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
לַאֲדֹנֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לְמֶ֥לֶךְ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq

these things, [2]
 
they offended, [3]
the cup bearer of the king of Egypt, [2]
and the baker; [1]
 
their lord, [2]
the king of Egypt. [1]
2 וַיִּקְצֹ֣ף פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef
עַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
שְׁנֵ֣י סָרִיסָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
עַ֚ל [3] Yetiv
שַׂ֣ר הַמַּשְׁקִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְעַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
שַׂ֥ר הָאוֹפִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

with [2]
two of his officials; [1]
 
with [3]
the chief of the cup bearers [2]
 
and with [2]
the chief of the bakers. [1]
3 וַיִּתֵּ֨ן אֹתָ֜ם [4] Geresh
בְּמִשְׁמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i
 
בֵּ֛ית [3] Tevir
שַׂ֥ר הַטַּבָּחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
 
אֶל־בֵּ֣ית הַסֹּ֑הַר [1] Etnachta
 
מְק֕וֹם [2] ZaqefG
אֲשֶׁ֥ר יוֹסֵ֖ף [2] Tip'cha
אָס֥וּר שָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq

of the captain of the guard, [2]
 
into the prison house; [1]
 
the place [2]
where Joseph [2]
was imprisoned. [1]
4 וַ֠יִּפְקֹ֠ד [4 4] TelishaG
שַׂ֣ר הַטַּבָּחִ֧ים אֶת־יוֹסֵ֛ף [3] Tevir
אִתָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וַיְשָׁ֣רֶת אֹתָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּהְי֥וּ יָמִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּמִשְׁמָֽר׃ [1] Silluq

the captain of the guard, Joseph [3]
over them, [2]
and he took care of them; [1]
 
and they stayed many days [2]
in custody. [1]
5 וַיַּֽחַלְמוּ֩ חֲל֨וֹם שְׁנֵיהֶ֜ם [4] Geresh
אִ֤ישׁ חֲלֹמוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
בְּלַ֣יְלָה אֶחָ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
אִ֖ישׁ [2] Tip'cha
כְּפִתְר֣וֹן חֲלֹמ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
הַמַּשְׁקֶ֣ה וְהָאֹפֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i
אֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
לְמֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲסוּרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּבֵ֥ית הַסֹּֽהַר׃ [1] Silluq

each his own dream, [3]
in one night, [2]
 
each [2]
according to the interpretation of his dream; [1]
 
the cup bearer and the baker [3]
who [3]
belonged to the king of Egypt, [2]
 
who were imprisoned [2]
in the prison house. [1]
6 וַיָּבֹ֧א אֲלֵיהֶ֛ם [3] Tevir
יוֹסֵ֖ף [2] Tip'cha
בַּבֹּ֑קֶר [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֣רְא אֹתָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
וְהִנָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
זֹעֲפִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

Joseph, [2]
in the morning; [1]
 
and he saw them, [2]
and there they [2]
were looking dejected. [1]
7 וַיִּשְׁאַ֞ל [4] Gershayim
אֶת־סְרִיסֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁ֨ר אִתּ֧וֹ בְמִשְׁמַ֛ר [3] Tevir
בֵּ֥ית אֲדֹנָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
 
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
מַדּ֛וּעַ [3] Tevir
פְּנֵיכֶ֥ם רָעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
הַיּֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq

the officials of Pharaoh [3]
 
who were with him in the custody [3]
of the house of his master, [2]
 
saying; [1]
 
“Why [3]
are your faces sad [2]
today?” [1]
8 וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
חֲל֣וֹם חָלַ֔מְנוּ [2] Zaqef
וּפֹתֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
אֵ֣ין אֹת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֜ם [4] Geresh
יוֹסֵ֗ף [3] Revi'i
 
הֲל֤וֹא לֵֽאלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta
פִּתְרֹנִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
סַפְּרוּ־נָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
לִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

“We have dreamed a dream, [2]
and one who can interpret [2]
there is not.” [1]
 
And he said to them, [4]
Joseph, [3]
 
“Don’t (they) belong to God [3]
interpretations? [2]
 
Please recount it [2]
to me.” [1]
9 וַיְסַפֵּ֧ר שַֽׂר־הַמַּשְׁקִ֛ים [3] Tevir
אֶת־חֲלֹמ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
לְיוֹסֵ֑ף [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
בַּחֲלוֹמִ֕י [2] ZaqefG
וְהִנֵּה־גֶ֖פֶן [2] Tip'cha
לְפָנָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

his dream [2]
to Joseph; [1]
 
and he said to him, [2]
“In my dream, [2]
behold, a vine [2]
was before me, [1]
10 וּבַגֶּ֖פֶן [2] Tip'cha
שְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה שָׂרִיגִ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִ֤וא כְפֹרַ֙חַת֙ [3 3] Pashta
עָלְתָ֣ה נִצָּ֔הּ [2] Zaqef
 
הִבְשִׁ֥ילוּ אַשְׁכְּלֹתֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha
עֲנָבִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

were three branches; [1]
 
and just as it was budding, [3 3]
its blossom went up, [2]
 
its clusters they ripened [2]
grapes. [1]
11 וְכ֥וֹס פַּרְעֹ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּיָדִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
וָאֶקַּ֣ח אֶת־הָֽעֲנָבִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
וָֽאֶשְׂחַ֤ט אֹתָם֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־כּ֣וֹס פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וָאֶתֵּ֥ן אֶת־הַכּ֖וֹס [2] Tip'cha
עַל־כַּ֥ף פַּרְעֹֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 3 2 11 And the cup of Pharaoh [2]
was in my hand; [1]
 
and I took the grapes, [3]
and I squeezed them [3]
into the cup of Pharaoh, [2]
 
and I put the cup [2]
on the palm of Pharaoh.” [1]
12 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
יוֹסֵ֔ף [2] Zaqef
 
זֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
פִּתְרֹנ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
שְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ [3 3] Pashta
הַשָּׂ֣רִגִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
הֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

Joseph, [2]
 
“This [2]
is its interpretation: [1]
 
the three [3 3]
branches [2]
 
are three days, [2]
they. [1]
13 בְּע֣וֹד ׀ [4] Legarmeh
שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
יִשָּׂ֤א פַרְעֹה֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־רֹאשֶׁ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וַהֲשִֽׁיבְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־כַּנֶּ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta
 
וְנָתַתָּ֤ כוֹס־פַּרְעֹה֙ [3] Pashta
בְּיָד֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
כַּמִּשְׁפָּט֙ [3] Pashta
הָֽרִאשׁ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָיִ֖יתָ [2] Tip'cha
מַשְׁקֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq

Pharaoh will lift up [3]
your head, [2]
 
and he will restore you [2]
to your office, [1]
 
and you will put the cup of Pharaoh [3]
in his hand, [2]
 
the way you did [3]
formerly [2]
 
when you were [2]
his cup bearer. [1]
14 כִּ֧י אִם־זְכַרְתַּ֣נִי אִתְּךָ֗ [3] Revi'i
כַּאֲשֶׁר֙ [3] Pashta
יִ֣יטַב לָ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וְעָשִֽׂיתָ־נָּ֥א עִמָּדִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
חָ֑סֶד [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִזְכַּרְתַּ֙נִי֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְהוֹצֵאתַ֖נִי [2] Tip'cha
מִן־הַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq

when [3]
it is well with you, [2]
 
and please show to me [2]
kindness; [1]
 
and make mention of me [3 3]
to Pharaoh, [2]
 
and bring me out [2]
from this house. [1]
15 כִּֽי־גֻנֹּ֣ב גֻּנַּ֔בְתִּי [2] Zaqef
מֵאֶ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha
הָעִבְרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְגַם־פֹּה֙ [3] Pashta
לֹא־עָשִׂ֣יתִֽי מְא֔וּמָה [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־שָׂמ֥וּ אֹתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
בַּבּֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 15 For indeed, I was stolen away [2]
from the land [2]
of the Hebrews; [1]
 
and here also [3]
I have done nothing [2]
 
that they should put me [2]
in the pit.” [1]
16 וַיַּ֥רְא שַׂר־הָאֹפִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
כִּ֣י ט֣וֹב פָּתָ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶל־יוֹסֵ֔ף [2] Zaqef
 
אַף־אֲנִי֙ [3] Pashta
בַּחֲלוֹמִ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וְהִנֵּ֗ה [3] Revi'i
שְׁלֹשָׁ֛ה [3] Tevir
סַלֵּ֥י חֹרִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
עַל־רֹאשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq

that the interpretation was good; [1]
 
he said [3 3]
to Joseph, [2]
 
“I also [3]
was in my dream, [2]
 
and behold [3]
three [3]
baskets of white bread, [2]
were on my head. [1]
17 וּבַסַּ֣ל הָֽעֶלְי֗וֹן [3] Revi'i
מִכֹּ֛ל [3] Tevir
מַאֲכַ֥ל פַּרְעֹ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה אֹפֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וְהָע֗וֹף [3] Revi'i
אֹכֵ֥ל אֹתָ֛ם [3] Tevir
מִן־הַסַּ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
מֵעַ֥ל רֹאשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 3 3 17 And in the uppermost basket were [3]
all kinds of [3]
the food of Pharaoh, [2]
the work of a baker; [1]
 
and the birds [3]
were eating them [3]
from the basket, [2]
from on my head.” [1]
18 וַיַּ֤עַן יוֹסֵף֙ [3] Pashta
וַיֹּ֔אמֶר [2] Zaqef
 
זֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
פִּתְרֹנ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
שְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙ [3 3] Pashta
הַסַּלִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת יָמִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
הֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq

and he said, [2]
 
“This [2]
is its interpretation; [1]
 
the three [3 3]
the baskets [2]
 
are three days, [2]
they. [1]
19 בְּע֣וֹד ׀ [4] Legarmeh
שְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
יִשָּׂ֨א פַרְעֹ֤ה אֶת־רֹֽאשְׁךָ֙ [3] Pashta
מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
וְתָלָ֥ה אוֹתְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
עַל־עֵ֑ץ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאָכַ֥ל הָע֛וֹף [3] Tevir
אֶת־בְּשָׂרְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
מֵעָלֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq

Pharaoh will lift up your head [3]
from on you, [2]
 
and he will hang you [2]
on a tree; [1]
 
and the birds will eat [3]
your flesh [2]

הֻלֶּ֣דֶת אֶת־פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וַיַּ֥עַשׂ מִשְׁתֶּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְכׇל־עֲבָדָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּשָּׂ֞א [4] Gershayim
אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ ׀ [4] Legarmeh
שַׂ֣ר הַמַּשְׁקִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
וְאֶת־רֹ֛אשׁ [3] Tevir
שַׂ֥ר הָאֹפִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
 
בְּת֥וֹךְ עֲבָדָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

of Pharaoh's being born, [2]
 
he made a feast [2]
for all his servants; [1]
 
and he lifted up [4]
the head [4]
of the chief cup bearer [3]

of the chief baker [2]
 
among his servants. [1]
21 וַיָּ֛שֶׁב [3] Tevir
אֶת־שַׂ֥ר הַמַּשְׁקִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
עַל־מַשְׁקֵ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּתֵּ֥ן הַכּ֖וֹס [2] Tip'cha
עַל־כַּ֥ף פַּרְעֹֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 21 And he restored [3]
the chief cup bearer [2]
to his cup bearing; [1]
 
and he put the cup [2]
on the palm of Pharaoh, [1]
22 וְאֵ֛ת [3] Tevir
שַׂ֥ר הָאֹפִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
תָּלָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּתַ֛ר [3] Tevir
לָהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
יוֹסֵֽף׃ [1] Silluq

the chief baker [2]
he hanged; [1]
 
just as he had interpreted [3]
for them, [2]

23 וְלֹֽא־זָכַ֧ר שַֽׂר־הַמַּשְׁקִ֛ים [3] Tevir

וַיִּשְׁכָּחֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 23 Yet the chief cup bearer didn’t remember [3]

but he forgot him. [1]
