1 וַיִּקְרָ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
אֶל־בָּנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ [3] Pashta
וְאַגִּ֣ידָה לָכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֛ת [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

to his sons; [1]
 
and he said, [3]
“Gather yourselves together [3]
that I may tell you [2]

that which will happen to you [2]
in the days to come. [1]

אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אֲבִיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

O sons of Jacob; [1]

to Israel your father. [1]

יִקְּהַ֥ת עַמִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq

nor the ruler’s staff [2]

Shiloh comes, [2]

כִּ֣י נָעֵ֑מָה [1] Etnachta

לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq

a snake on the trail, [2]
 
a viper [2]

that bites [3]
the heels of a horse, [2]

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן [1] Etnachta
