	¹וַיִּקְרָ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־בָּנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'a הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ [3] Pashta וְאַגִּ֣ידָה לָכֶ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef אֵ֛ת [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹And Jacob called [2] to his sons; [1] and he said, [3] “Gather yourselves together [3] that I may tell you [2] -- [3] that which will happen to you [2] in the days to come. [1]
	²הִקָּבְצ֥וּ וְשִׁמְע֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּנֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֑ב [1] Munach Etnachta וְשִׁמְע֖וּ [2] Tip'cha אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אֲבִיכֶֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²Assemble and listen [2] O sons of Jacob; [1] and listen [2] to Israel your father.” [1]
	³רְאוּבֵן֙ [3] Pashta בְּכֹ֣רִי אַ֔תָּה [2] Munach Zaqef כֹּחִ֖י [2] Tip'cha וְרֵאשִׁ֣ית אוֹנִ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta יֶ֥תֶר שְׂאֵ֖ת [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְיֶ֥תֶר עָֽז׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		³“O Reuben, [3] you are my firstborn, [2] my might [2] and the beginning of my strength; [1] excelling in dignity [2] and excelling in power. [1]
	⁴פַּ֤חַז כַּמַּ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אַל־תּוֹתַ֔ר [2] Zaqef כִּ֥י עָלִ֖יתָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha מִשְׁכְּבֵ֣י אָבִ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta אָ֥ז חִלַּ֖לְתָּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha יְצוּעִ֥י עָלָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ		⁴Boiling over like water [3] you shall not excel, [2] for you went up [2] to the bed of your father; [1] then you defiled it. [2] He went up to my couch.” [1] ¶
	⁵שִׁמְע֥וֹן וְלֵוִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha אַחִ֑ים [1] Etnachta כְּלֵ֥י חָמָ֖ס [2] Merkha Tip'cha מְכֵרֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq		⁵“Simeon and Levi [2] are brothers. [1] Weapons of violence [2] are their swords. [1]
	⁶בְּסֹדָם֙ [3] Pashta אַל־תָּבֹ֣א נַפְשִׁ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef בִּקְהָלָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha אַל־תֵּחַ֣ד כְּבֹדִ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta כִּ֤י בְאַפָּם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הָ֣רְגוּ אִ֔ישׁ [2] Munach Zaqef וּבִרְצֹנָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha עִקְּרוּ־שֽׁוֹר׃ [1] Silluq		⁶Into their council [3] let not my soul enter, [2] to their assembly [2] let not my honor be united; [1] for in their anger [3] they killed a man, [2] and for their pleasure [2] they hamstrung oxen. [1]
	⁷אָר֤וּר אַפָּם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta כִּ֣י עָ֔ז [2] Munach Zaqef וְעֶבְרָתָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha כִּ֣י קָשָׁ֑תָה [1] Munach Etnachta אֲחַלְּקֵ֣ם בְּיַעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef וַאֲפִיצֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq פ		⁷Cursed be their anger [3] for it is fierce, [2] and their wrath [2] for it is cruel. [1] I will divide them in Jacob, [2] and I will scatter them [2] in Israel.” [1] ¶
	⁸יְהוּדָ֗ה [3] Revi'a אַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta יוֹד֣וּךָ אַחֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef יָדְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha בְּעֹ֣רֶף אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta יִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּנֵ֥י אָבִֽיךָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁸“O Judah, [3] you, [3] your brothers will praise you. [2] Your hand [2] will be on the neck of your enemies. [1] They will bow down to you, [2] the sons of your father. [1]
	⁹גּ֤וּר אַרְיֵה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מִטֶּ֖רֶף [2] Tip'cha בְּנִ֣י עָלִ֑יתָ [1] Munach Etnachta כָּרַ֨ע רָבַ֧ץ כְּאַרְיֵ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir וּכְלָבִ֖יא [2] Tip'cha מִ֥י יְקִימֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		⁹A cub of a lion, [3] Judah is. [2] From the prey [2] O my son, you have gone up. [1] He bows down, he lies down like a lion [3] and like a lioness. [2] Who will rouse him? [1]
	¹⁰לֹֽא־יָס֥וּר שֵׁ֙בֶט֙ [3] Merkha Pashta מִֽיהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וּמְחֹקֵ֖ק [2] Tip'cha מִבֵּ֣ין רַגְלָ֑יו [1] Munach Etnachta עַ֚ד [3] Yetiv כִּֽי־יָבֹ֣א שִׁילֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha יִקְּהַ֥ת עַמִּֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁰The scepter will not depart [3] from Judah, [2] nor the ruler’s staff [2] from between his feet; [1] until [3] Shiloh comes, [2] and to him will be [2] the obedience of the peoples. [1]
	¹¹אֹסְרִ֤י לַגֶּ֙פֶן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta עִירֹ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְלַשֹּׂרֵקָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּנִ֣י אֲתֹנ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta כִּבֵּ֤ס בַּיַּ֙יִן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְבֻשׁ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וּבְדַם־עֲנָבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha סוּתֹֽה׃ [1] Silluq		¹¹Binding to the vine [3] his foal [2] and to the choice vine [2] the colt of his donkey; [1] he will wash in wine [3] his clothing, [2] and in the blood of grapes, [2] his robes. [1]
	¹²חַכְלִילִ֥י עֵינַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha מִיָּ֑יִן [1] Etnachta וּלְבֶן־שִׁנַּ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha מֵחָלָֽב׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹²Darker his eyes will be [2] than wine; [1] and whiter his teeth [2] than milk.” [1] ¶
	¹³זְבוּלֻ֕ן [2] ZaqefG לְח֥וֹף יַמִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha יִשְׁכֹּ֑ן [1] Etnachta וְהוּא֙ [3] Pashta לְח֣וֹף אֳנִיֹּ֔ת [2] Munach Zaqef וְיַרְכָת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha עַל־צִידֹֽן׃ [1] Silluq פ		¹³“Zebulun, [2] at the coast of the seas [2] he will dwell; [1] and he, [3] a harbor for ships will be, [2] with his border [2] at Sidon.” [1] ¶
	¹⁴יִשָּׂשכָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha חֲמֹ֣ר גָּ֑רֶם [1] Munach Etnachta רֹבֵ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha בֵּ֥ין הַֽמִּשְׁפְּתָֽיִם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁴“Issachar [2] is a strong donkey; [1] lying down [2] between the saddlebags. [1]
	¹⁵וַיַּ֤רְא מְנֻחָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב [2] Munach Zaqef וְאֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha כִּ֣י נָעֵ֑מָה [1] Munach Etnachta וַיֵּ֤ט שִׁכְמוֹ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לִסְבֹּ֔ל [2] Zaqef וַיְהִ֖י [2] Tip'cha לְמַס־עֹבֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq ס		¹⁵And he saw a resting place, [3] that it was good, [2] and the land, [2] that it was pleasant; [1] and he bent down his shoulder [3] to carry a load, [2] and he became [2] a servant doing forced labor.” [1] §
	¹⁶דָּ֖ן [2] Tip'cha יָדִ֣ין עַמּ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta כְּאַחַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		¹⁶“Dan, [2] he will judge his people; [1] as one [2] of the tribes of Israel. [1]
	¹⁷יְהִי־דָן֙ [3] Pashta נָחָ֣שׁ עֲלֵי־דֶ֔רֶךְ [2] Munach Zaqef שְׁפִיפֹ֖ן [2] Tip'cha עֲלֵי־אֹ֑רַח [1] Etnachta הַנֹּשֵׁךְ֙ [3] Pashta עִקְּבֵי־ס֔וּס [2] Zaqef וַיִּפֹּ֥ל רֹכְב֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha אָחֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq		¹⁷Dan will be [3] a snake on the trail, [2] a viper [2] on the path; [1] that bites [3] the heels of a horse, [2] so that its rider falls [2] backwards. [1]
	¹⁸לִישׁוּעָֽתְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha קִוִּ֥יתִי יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq ס		¹⁸For your deliverance, [2] I wait eagerly O LORD.” [1] §
	¹⁹גָּ֖ד [2] Tip'cha גְּד֣וּד יְגוּדֶ֑נּוּ [1] Munach Etnachta וְה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha יָגֻ֥ד עָקֵֽב׃ [1] Merkha Silluq ס		¹⁹“Gad, [2] a troop will attack him; [1] but he, [2] he will attack their heel.” [1] §
	²⁰מֵאָשֵׁ֖ר [2] Tip'cha שְׁמֵנָ֣ה לַחְמ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta וְה֥וּא יִתֵּ֖ן [2] Merkha Tip'cha מַֽעֲדַנֵּי־מֶֽלֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq ס		²⁰“From Asher, [2] rich will be his food; [1] and he, he will produce [2] delicacies of a king.” [1] §
	²¹נַפְתָּלִ֖י [2] Tip'cha אַיָּלָ֣ה שְׁלֻחָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta הַנֹּתֵ֖ן [2] Tip'cha אִמְרֵי־שָֽׁפֶר׃ [1] Silluq ס		²¹“Naphtali [2] is a doe set free; [1] who speaks [2] beautiful words.” [1] §
	²²בֵּ֤ן פֹּרָת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta יוֹסֵ֔ף [2] Zaqef בֵּ֥ן פֹּרָ֖ת [2] Merkha Tip'cha עֲלֵי־עָ֑יִן [1] Etnachta בָּנ֕וֹת [2] ZaqefG צָעֲדָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha עֲלֵי־שֽׁוּר׃ [1] Silluq		²²“A son, a fruitful vine [3] is Joseph, [2] a son, a fruitful vine [2] at a spring; [1] whose branches [2] run [2] over the wall. [1]
	²³וַֽיְמָרְרֻ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha וָרֹ֑בּוּ [1] Etnachta וַֽיִּשְׂטְמֻ֖הוּ [2] Tip'cha בַּעֲלֵ֥י חִצִּֽים׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²³And they showed bitterness to him [2] and they shot; [1] and they bore him a grudge, [2] the archers. [1]
	²⁴וַתֵּ֤שֶׁב בְּאֵיתָן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta קַשְׁתּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef וַיָּפֹ֖זּוּ [2] Tip'cha זְרֹעֵ֣י יָדָ֑יו [1] Munach Etnachta מִידֵי֙ [3] Pashta אֲבִ֣יר יַעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef מִשָּׁ֥ם רֹעֶ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶ֥בֶן יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²⁴But it remained strong, [3] his bow, [2] and they were agile, [2] the arms of his hands; [1] by the hands [3] of the Mighty One of Jacob, [2] by the shepherd, [2] the rock of Israel, [1]
	²⁵מֵאֵ֨ל אָבִ֜יךָ [4] Qadma Geresh וְיַעְזְרֶ֗ךָּ [3] Revi'a וְאֵ֤ת שַׁדַּי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta וִיבָ֣רְכֶ֔ךָּ [2] Munach Zaqef בִּרְכֹ֤ת שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מֵעָ֔ל [2] Zaqef בִּרְכֹ֥ת תְּה֖וֹם [2] Merkha Tip'cha רֹבֶ֣צֶת תָּ֑חַת [1] Munach Etnachta בִּרְכֹ֥ת שָׁדַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha וָרָֽחַם׃ [1] Silluq		²⁵from the God of your father [4] who will help you, [3] and the Almighty [3] who will bless you, [2] with blessings of heaven [3] above, [2] blessings of the deep [2] which lies below; [1] blessings of the breasts [2] and of the womb. [1]
	²⁶בִּרְכֹ֣ת אָבִ֗יךָ [3] Munach Revi'a גָּֽבְרוּ֙ [3] Pashta עַל־בִּרְכֹ֣ת הוֹרַ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef עַֽד־תַּאֲוַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha גִּבְעֹ֣ת עוֹלָ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta תִּֽהְיֶ֙יןָ֙ [3] Pashta לְרֹ֣אשׁ יוֹסֵ֔ף [2] Munach Zaqef וּלְקׇדְקֹ֖ד [2] Tip'cha נְזִ֥יר אֶחָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ		²⁶The blessings of your father, [3] they have prevailed [3] over the blessings of your ancestors, [2] above the boundaries [2] of the ancient hills. [1] They will be [3] on the head of Joseph, [2] and on the crown of the head [2] of the prince of his brothers.” [1] ¶
	²⁷בִּנְיָמִין֙ [3] Pashta זְאֵ֣ב יִטְרָ֔ף [2] Munach Zaqef בַּבֹּ֖קֶר [2] Tip'cha יֹ֣אכַל עַ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta וְלָעֶ֖רֶב [2] Tip'cha יְחַלֵּ֥ק שָׁלָֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²⁷“Benjamin [3] is a ravenous wolf. [2] In the morning [2] he devours the prey; [1] and in the evening [2] he divides the plunder.” [1]
	²⁸כׇּל־אֵ֛לֶּה [3] Tevir שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Merkha Tip'cha שְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta וְ֠זֹ֠את [4] TelishaG אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֨ר לָהֶ֤ם אֲבִיהֶם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אוֹתָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef אִ֛ישׁ [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁ֥ר כְּבִרְכָת֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha בֵּרַ֥ךְ אֹתָֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²⁸All these [3] are the tribes of Israel, [2] two and ten; [1] and this [4] is what their father spoke to them, [3] and he blessed them, [2] everyone [3] whom according to his blessing, [2] he blessed them. [1]
	²⁹וַיְצַ֣ו אוֹתָ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲלֵהֶם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֲנִי֙ [3] Pashta נֶאֱסָ֣ף אֶל־עַמִּ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef קִבְר֥וּ אֹתִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־אֲבֹתָ֑י [1] Etnachta אֶ֨ל־הַמְּעָרָ֔ה [2] Qadma Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּשְׂדֵ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha עֶפְר֥וֹן הַֽחִתִּֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		²⁹And he commanded them [3] and he said to them, [3] “I [3] am about to be gathered to my people. [2] Bury me [2] with my fathers; [1] in the cave [2] which is in the field [2] of Ephron the Hittite, [1]
	³⁰בַּמְּעָרָ֞ה [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁ֨ר בִּשְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה [3] Qadma Darga Tevir אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־פְּנֵי־מַמְרֵ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן [1] Munach Etnachta אֲשֶׁר֩ קָנָ֨ה אַבְרָהָ֜ם [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh אֶת־הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה [3] Revi'a מֵאֵ֛ת [3] Tevir עֶפְרֹ֥ן הַחִתִּ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha לַאֲחֻזַּת־קָֽבֶר׃ [1] Silluq		³⁰in the cave [4] which is in the field of Machpelah, [3] which is before Mamre, [2] in the land of Canaan; [1] which Abraham bought [4] with the field [3] from [3] Ephron the Hittite [2] as a burial place. [1]
	³¹שָׁ֣מָּה קָֽבְר֞וּ [4] Munach Gershayim אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֗ם [3] Revi'a וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef שָׁ֚מָּה [3] Yetiv קָבְר֣וּ אֶת־יִצְחָ֔ק [2] Munach Zaqef וְאֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha רִבְקָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta וְשָׁ֥מָּה קָבַ֖רְתִּי [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶת־לֵאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq		³¹There they buried [4] Abraham [3] and [3] Sarah his wife, [2] there [3] they buried Isaac [2] and [2] Rebekah his wife; [1] and there I buried [2] Leah. [1]
	³²מִקְנֵ֧ה הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir וְהַמְּעָרָ֥ה אֲשֶׁר־בּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha מֵאֵ֥ת בְּנֵי־חֵֽת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		³²The purchase of the field [3] and the cave which is in it, [2] was from the sons of Heth.” [1]
	³³וַיְכַ֤ל יַעֲקֹב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְצַוֺּ֣ת אֶת־בָּנָ֔יו [2] Munach Zaqef וַיֶּאֱסֹ֥ף רַגְלָ֖יו [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־הַמִּטָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta וַיִּגְוַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha וַיֵּאָ֥סֶף אֶל־עַמָּֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq		³³And when Jacob finished [3] commanding his sons, [2] he gathered up his feet [2] into the bed; [1] and he yielded up his spirit [2] and he was gathered to his people.
