1 וַיִּקְרָ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב [2] Tip'cha אֶל־בָּנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ [3] Pashta וְאַגִּ֣ידָה לָכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
1 And Jacob called [2] to his sons; [1] “Gather yourselves together [3] that I may tell you [2] that which will happen to you [2] in the days to come. [1] |

2 הִקָּבְצ֥וּ וְשִׁמְע֖וּ [2] Tip'cha בְּנֵ֣י יַעֲקֹ֑ב [1] Etnachta אֶל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל אֲבִיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
2 Assemble and listen [2] O sons of Jacob; [1] to Israel your father. [1] |

3 רְאוּבֵן֙ [3] Pashta בְּכֹ֣רִי אַ֔תָּה [2] Zaqef וְרֵאשִׁ֣ית אוֹנִ֑י [1] Etnachta וְיֶ֥תֶר עָֽז׃ [1] Silluq |
3 “O Reuben, [3] you are my firstborn, [2] and the beginning of my strength; [1] and excelling in power. [1] |

4 Boiling over like water [3 3] you shall not excel, [2] to the bed of your father; [1] He went up to my couch. [1] ¶ |

6 Into their council [3] let not my soul enter, [2] let not my honor be united; [1] they killed a man, [2] they hamstrung oxen. [1] |

9 A cub of a lion, [3] Judah is. [2] O my son, you have gone up. [1] and like a lioness. [2] Who will rouse him? [1] |

10 The scepter will not depart [3 3] from Judah, [2] from between his feet; [1] Shiloh comes, [2] the obedience of the peoples. [1] |

11 Binding to the vine [3 3] his foal [2] the colt of his donkey; [1] his clothing, [2] his robes. [1] |

12 Darker his eyes will be [2] than wine; [1] than milk. [1] ¶ |

14 “Issachar [2] is a strong donkey; [1] between the saddlebags. [1] |

15 And he saw a resting place, [3] that it was good, [2] that it was pleasant; [1] to carry a load, [2] a servant doing forced labor. [1] § |

17 Dan will be [3] a snake on the trail, [2] on the path; [1] the heels of a horse, [2] backwards. [1] |

22 “A son, a fruitful vine [3] is Joseph, [2] at a spring; [1] run [2] over the wall. [1] |

23 And they showed bitterness to him [2] and they shot; [1] the archers. [1] |

24 But it remained strong, [3] his bow, [2] the arms of his hands; [1] of the Mighty One of Jacob, [2] the rock of Israel, [1] |

25 from the God of your father [4] who will help you, [3] who will bless you, [2] above, [2] which lies below; [1] and of the womb. [1] |

26 The blessings of your father, [3] they have prevailed [3] over the blessings of your ancestors, [2] of the ancient hills. [1] on the head of Joseph, [2] of the prince of his brothers. [1] ¶ |

27 “Benjamin [3] is a ravenous wolf. [2] he devours the prey; [1] he divides the plunder.” [1] |

28 כׇּל־אֵ֛לֶּה [3] Tevir שִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha שְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֑ר [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֨ר לָהֶ֤ם אֲבִיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אוֹתָ֔ם [2] Zaqef אֲשֶׁ֥ר כְּבִרְכָת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha בֵּרַ֥ךְ אֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
28 All these [3] are the tribes of Israel, [2] two and ten; [1] is what their father spoke to them, [3] and he blessed them, [2] whom according to his blessing, [2] he blessed them. [1] |

29 And he commanded them [3] and he said to them, [3] “I [3] am about to be gathered to my people. [2] with my fathers; [1] which is in the field [2] of Ephron the Hittite, [1] |

30 בַּמְּעָרָ֞ה [4] Gershayim אֲשֶׁ֨ר בִּשְׂדֵ֧ה הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֛ה [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁ֥ר עַל־פְּנֵי־מַמְרֵ֖א [2] Tip'cha בְּאֶ֣רֶץ כְּנָ֑עַן [1] Etnachta אֶת־הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i עֶפְרֹ֥ן הַחִתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha |
30 in the cave [4] which is in the field of Machpelah, [3] which is before Mamre, [2] in the land of Canaan; [1] with the field [3] Ephron the Hittite [2] |

31 שָׁ֣מָּה קָֽבְר֞וּ [4] Gershayim אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֗ם [3] Revi'i שָׂרָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef קָבְר֣וּ אֶת־יִצְחָ֔ק [2] Zaqef רִבְקָ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta אֶת־לֵאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
31 There they buried [4] Abraham [3] Sarah his wife, [2] they buried Isaac [2] Rebekah his wife; [1] Leah. [1] |

32 The purchase of the field [3] and the cave which is in it, [2] was from the sons of Heth.” [1] |
