4 “Is it your time [3] for you, [2] in your paneled houses; [1] is desolate? [1] |

6 זְרַעְתֶּ֨ם הַרְבֵּ֜ה [4] Geresh וְהָבֵ֣א מְעָ֗ט [3] Revi'i שָׁת֣וֹ וְאֵין־לְשׇׁכְרָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וְאֵין־לְחֹ֣ם ל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta מִשְׂתַּכֵּ֖ר [2] Tip'cha אֶל־צְר֥וֹר נָקֽוּב׃ [1] Silluq פ |
6 You sowed much [4] but you bring in little, [3] you drink but not enough to be filled, [2] but no one is warm; [1] earns wages [2] into a bag with holes in it.” [1] ¶ |

8 Go up to the hill country [3] and bring wood, [2] and rebuild the house; [1] says the LORD. [1] |

10 Therefore because of you, [2] the heavens have withheld [2] the dew; [1] it has withheld its yield. [1] |

11 For I have called for a drought [4] on the land and on the mountains, [3] and on the new wine and on the fresh oil, [2] that which is brought forth by [2] the ground; [1] and on the livestock, [2] all the labor of the hands.” [1] ¶ |

12 And he listened, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, [4] and Joshua son of Jehozadak the high priest, [4] and all [4] the remnant of the people, [3] of the LORD their God, [2] of Haggai the prophet, [2] the LORD their God; [1] the LORD. [1] |

4 Yet now be strong O Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD, [4] ‘and be strong O Joshua son of Jehozadak the high priest, [4] and be strong all people of the land,’ [3] says the LORD, [2] says [2] the LORD of Hosts. [1] |

6 For thus he says, [3] the LORD of Hosts, [2] in a little while; [1] will shake [3] the heavens and the earth, [2] and the dry ground, [1] |

7 וְהִרְעַשְׁתִּי֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef חֶמְדַּ֣ת כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם [1] Etnachta אֶת־הַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ [3] Pashta כָּב֔וֹד [2] Zaqef יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq |
7 and I will shake [3] all the nations, [2] the precious things of all the nations; [1] this house [3] with splendor, [2] the LORD of Hosts. [1] |

8 Mine is the silver [2] and mine is the gold,’ [1] the LORD of Hosts. [1] |

12 ‘If [4] someone carries holy meat [4] in the fold of his garment, [3] bread or stew [4] or wine or oil, [3] or any food - [2] and they said, [2] “No.” [1] |

13 And Haggai said, [2] any of these, [2] will it become unclean?” [1] and they said, [2] “It will become unclean.” [1] |

15 But now, [3] set your heart [2] and back; [1] on a stone [2] in the temple of the LORD. [1] |

16 From that time when one came [3] to a heap of twenty measures, [2] ten; [1] to draw out [3] fifty measures, [2] twenty. [1] |

18 ‘Now, set your heart [2] from this day [2] and back; [1] of the ninth (month), [3] when the temple of the LORD was founded, [2] |

19 Is the seed still [3 3] in the granary? [2] and the olive tree, [2] it hasn’t borne fruit. [1] I will bless.’ ” [1] ¶ |

21 “Speak [2] to Zerubbabel governor of Judah [2] saying; [1] the heavens [2] and the earth, [1] |

22 וְהָֽפַכְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta כִּסֵּ֣א מַמְלָכ֔וֹת [2] Zaqef חֹ֖זֶק [2] Tip'cha מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הַגּוֹיִ֑ם [1] Etnachta וְרֹ֣כְבֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef וְרֹ֣כְבֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef בְּחֶ֥רֶב אָחִֽיו׃ [1] Silluq |
22 and I will overthrow [3] the throne of kingdoms, [2] the strength [2] of the kingdoms of the nations; [1] and its riders, [2] with their riders, [2] by the sword of his brother. [1] |
