1 גֶּ֤פֶן בּוֹקֵק֙ [3] Pashta
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
פְּרִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יְשַׁוֶּה־לּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
כְּרֹ֣ב לְפִרְי֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
הִרְבָּה֙ [3] Pashta
לַֽמִּזְבְּח֔וֹת [2] Zaqef
 
כְּט֣וֹב לְאַרְצ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
הֵיטִ֖יבוּ [2] Tip'cha
מַצֵּבֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

is Israel, [2]
 
fruit [2]
he produces for himself. [1]
 
According to the abundance of his fruit, [3]
he has multiplied [3]
the altars. [2]
 
According to the goodness of his land, [2]
they made beautiful [2]
sacred pillars. [1]
2 חָלַ֥ק לִבָּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
עַתָּ֣ה יֶאְשָׁ֑מוּ [1] Etnachta
 
ה֚וּא [3] Yetiv
יַעֲרֹ֣ף מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
יְשֹׁדֵ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
מַצֵּבוֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

Now they will be held guilty. [1]
 
He, [3]
he will break their altars. [2]
 
He will destroy [2]
their sacred pillars. [1]
3 כִּ֤י עַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta
יֹֽאמְר֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֥ין מֶ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
לָ֑נוּ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָרֵ֙אנוּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה־לָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq

“No king [2]
we have; [1]
 
for we don’t fear [3 3]
the LORD, [2]
 
and the king, [2]
what can he do for us?” [1]
4 דִּבְּר֣וּ דְבָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
אָל֥וֹת שָׁ֖וְא [2] Tip'cha
כָּרֹ֣ת בְּרִ֑ית [1] Etnachta
 
וּפָרַ֤ח כָּרֹאשׁ֙ [3] Pashta
מִשְׁפָּ֔ט [2] Zaqef
 
עַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
תַּלְמֵ֥י שָׂדָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

they have sworn falsely, [2]
they have made a covenant; [1]
 
and it springs up like poisonous weeds, [3]
judgment, [2]
 
on [2]
the furrows of a field. [1]
5 לְעֶגְלוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
בֵּ֣ית אָ֔וֶן [2] Zaqef
 
יָג֖וּרוּ [2] Tip'cha
שְׁכַ֣ן שֹׁמְר֑וֹן [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־אָבַ֨ל עָלָ֜יו [4] Geresh
עַמּ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i
 
וּכְמָרָיו֙ [3] Pashta
עָלָ֣יו יָגִ֔ילוּ [2] Zaqef
 
עַל־כְּבוֹד֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
כִּי־גָלָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq

they will be afraid, [2]
the inhabitants of Samaria; [1]
 
for it will mourn over it, [4]
its people, [3]
 
and its pagan priests, [3]
over it they will tremble, [2]
 
for its glory, [2]
for it has gone into exile from it. [1]
6 גַּם־אוֹתוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
לְאַשּׁ֣וּר יוּבָ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
מִנְחָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְמֶ֣לֶךְ יָרֵ֑ב [1] Etnachta
 
בׇּשְׁנָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֶפְרַ֣יִם יִקָּ֔ח [2] Zaqef
 
וְיֵב֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
מֵעֲצָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

to Assyria it will be carried, [2]
 
tribute [2]
to king Jareb. [1]
 
Shame, [3]
it will seize Ephraim, [2]
 
and Israel will be ashamed [2]
from its own counsel. [1]
7 נִדְמֶ֥ה שֹׁמְר֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
מַלְכָּ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
כְּקֶ֖צֶף [2] Tip'cha
עַל־פְּנֵי־מָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 7 Samaria will be cut off, [2]
its king; [1]
 
like a twig [2]
on the surface of the waters. [1]
8 וְנִשְׁמְד֞וּ [4] Gershayim
בָּמ֣וֹת אָ֗וֶן [3] Revi'i
 
חַטַּאת֙ [3] Pashta
יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
ק֣וֹץ וְדַרְדַּ֔ר [2] Zaqef
יַעֲלֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
עַל־מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְאָמְר֤וּ לֶהָרִים֙ [3] Pashta
כַּסּ֔וּנוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְלַגְּבָע֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
נִפְל֥וּ עָלֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq

the sin [3]

Thorns and thistles, [2]
it will grow up [2]

and to the hills, [2]
“Fall on us!” [1]

לֹא־תַשִּׂיגֵ֧ם בַּגִּבְעָ֛ה [3] Tevir

עַל־בְּנֵ֥י עַֽלְוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

Will it not overtake them in Gibeah, [3]
the battle, [2]

וְאֻסְּפ֤וּ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ [3] Pashta
עַמִּ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
בְּאׇסְרָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לִשְׁתֵּ֥י *עינתם **עוֹנֹתָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

I will chastise them; [1]
 
and they will be gathered against them, [3]
the peoples, [2]
 
when they are yoked [2]
to their two sins. [1]
11 וְאֶפְרַ֜יִם [4] Geresh
עֶגְלָ֤ה מְלֻמָּדָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֹהַ֣בְתִּי לָד֔וּשׁ [2] Zaqef
 
וַאֲנִ֣י עָבַ֔רְתִּי [2] Zaqef
עַל־ט֖וּב [2] Tip'cha
צַוָּארָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
אַרְכִּ֤יב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ [3 3] Pashta
יַחֲר֣וֹשׁ יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
יְשַׂדֶּד־ל֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
יַעֲקֹֽב׃ [1] Silluq

the beauty [2]

קִצְר֣וּ לְפִי־חֶ֔סֶד [2] Zaqef
 
נִ֥ירוּ לָכֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha

וְעֵת֙ [3] Pashta
לִדְר֣וֹשׁ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
עַד־יָב֕וֹא [2] ZaqefG
וְיֹרֶ֥ה צֶ֖דֶק [2] Tip'cha
לָכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

reap according to lovingkindness. [2]
 
Plow for yourself [2]
the unplowed ground; [1]
 
for it is time [3]
to seek the LORD, [2]
 
until he comes, [2]
and he rains down righteousness [2]
on you. [1]
13 חֲרַשְׁתֶּם־רֶ֛שַׁע [3] Tevir
עַוְלָ֥תָה קְצַרְתֶּ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אֲכַלְתֶּ֣ם פְּרִי־כָ֑חַשׁ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּי־בָטַ֥חְתָּ בְדַרְכְּךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
בְּרֹ֥ב גִּבּוֹרֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 13 You have plowed wickedness. [3]
Injustice you have reaped. [2]
You have eaten the fruit of lies; [1]
 
for you have trusted in your own way, [2]
in the multitude of your warriors. [1]
14 וְקָ֣אם שָׁאוֹן֮ [3] Zarqa
בְּעַמֶּ֒ךָ֒ [2 2] Segol
 
וְכׇל־מִבְצָרֶ֣יךָ יוּשַּׁ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
כְּשֹׁ֧ד שַֽׁלְמַ֛ן [3] Tevir
בֵּ֥ית אַֽרְבֵ֖אל [2] Tip'cha
בְּי֣וֹם מִלְחָמָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אֵ֥ם עַל־בָּנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
רֻטָּֽשָׁה׃ [1] Silluq

among your people, [2 2]
 
and all your fortresses will be destroyed, [2]
 
as Shalman destroyed [3]
Beth Arbel [2]
in the day of battle; [1]
 
mother with children, [2]
