1 בִּשְׁנַ֨ת בֹּ֤א תַרְתָּן֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
אַשְׁדּ֔וֹדָה [2] Zaqef
 
בִּשְׁלֹ֣חַ אֹת֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
סַֽרְג֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֑וּר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיִּלָּ֥חֶם בְּאַשְׁדּ֖וֹד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַֽיִּלְכְּדָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 1 In the year that the field commander came [3]
to Ashdod, [2]
 
when he was sent by [2]
Sargon [2]
king of Assyria; [1]
 
and he fought against Ashdod [2]
and he captured it, [1]
2 בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗יא [3] Munach Revi'a
דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהֹוָה֮ [3] Munach Zarqa
בְּיַ֣ד יְשַֽׁעְיָ֣הוּ בֶן־אָמוֹץ֮ [3] Munach Munach Zarqa
לֵאמֹר֒ [2] Segol
 
לֵ֗ךְ [3] Revi'a
וּפִתַּחְתָּ֤ הַשַּׂק֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מֵעַ֣ל מׇתְנֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְנַעַלְךָ֥ תַחֲלֹ֖ץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מֵעַ֣ל רַגְלֶ֑ךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֣עַשׂ כֵּ֔ן [2] Munach Zaqef
הָלֹ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
עָר֥וֹם וְיָחֵֽף׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
ס		 1 2 3 3 3 2 3 3 2 2 2 2 at that time [3]
the LORD spoke [3]
by the hand of Isaiah son of Amoz [3]
saying, [2]
 
“Go [3]
and loosen the sackcloth [3]
from your waist, [2]
 
and take off your sandals [2]
from your feet.” [1]
 
So thus he did, [2]
he went [2]
naked and barefoot. [1]

3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלַ֛ךְ [3] Merkha Tevir
עַבְדִּ֥י יְשַֽׁעְיָ֖הוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָר֣וֹם וְיָחֵ֑ף [1] Munach Etnachta
 
שָׁלֹ֤שׁ שָׁנִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
א֣וֹת וּמוֹפֵ֔ת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
עַל־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
וְעַל־כּֽוּשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 2 3 Then the LORD said, [2]
 
“Just as he has walked, [3]
my servant Isaiah, [2]
naked and barefoot; [1]
 
three years, [3]
as a sign and a wonder [2]
 
against Egypt [2]
and against Ethiopia, [1]
4 כֵּ֣ן יִנְהַ֣ג מֶֽלֶךְ־אַ֠שּׁ֠וּר [4] Munach Munach TelishaG
אֶת־שְׁבִ֨י מִצְרַ֜יִם [4] Qadma Geresh
וְאֶת־גָּל֥וּת כּ֛וּשׁ [3] Merkha Tevir
נְעָרִ֥ים וּזְקֵנִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
עָר֣וֹם וְיָחֵ֑ף [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַחֲשׂוּפַ֥י שֵׁ֖ת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עֶרְוַ֥ת מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 2 4 so will the king of Assyria lead away [4]
the captives of Egypt [4]
and the exiles of Ethiopia, [3]
young and old, [2]
 
naked and barefoot; [1]
 
and with buttocks uncovered, [2]
to the shame of Egypt. [1]
5 וְחַתּ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
וָבֹ֑שׁוּ [1] Etnachta
 
מִכּוּשׁ֙ [3] Pashta
מַבָּטָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וּמִן־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
תִּפְאַרְתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 5 So they will be dismayed [2]
and they will be ashamed; [1]
 
because Ethiopia [3]
had been their hope, [2]
 
and because Egypt [2]
had been their boast. [1]
6 וְ֠אָמַ֠ר [4] TelishaG
יֹשֵׁ֨ב הָאִ֣י הַזֶּה֮ [3] Qadma Munach Zarqa
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַהוּא֒ [2] Munach Segol
 
הִנֵּה־כֹ֣ה מַבָּטֵ֗נוּ [3] Munach Revi'a
אֲשֶׁר־נַ֤סְנוּ שָׁם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לְעֶזְרָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לְהִ֨נָּצֵ֔ל [2] Qadma Zaqef
מִפְּנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֑וּר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֖יךְ [2] Tip'cha
נִמָּלֵ֥ט אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
פ		 1 2 3 4 2 3 3 2 2 2 6 Then he will say, [4]
an inhabitant of this coastland [3]
in that day, [2]
 
‘Behold, such is our hope, [3]
that we fled there [3]
for help, [2]
 
to be delivered [2]
from [2]
the king of Assyria; [1]
 
Now how [2]
will we ourselves escape?’ ” [1]
