מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta
 
הִנֵּ֨ה יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Qadma Geresh
רֹכֵ֨ב עַל־עָ֥ב קַל֙ [3] Qadma Merkha Pashta
וּבָ֣א מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְנָע֞וּ [4] Gershayim
אֱלִילֵ֤י מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מִפָּנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
וּלְבַ֥ב מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יִמַּ֥ס בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

“Behold, the LORD [4]
rides upon a swift cloud [3]
and comes to Egypt, [2]
 
and they tremble, [4]
the idols of Egypt [3]
before Him, [2]
 
and the heart of Egypt, [2]
it melts within them. [1]
2 וְסִכְסַכְתִּ֤י מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
וְנִלְחֲמ֥וּ אִישׁ־בְּאָחִ֖יו [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאִ֣ישׁ בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עִ֣יר בְּעִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef
מַמְלָכָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּמַמְלָכָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 2 And I will stir up Egyptian [3]
against Egyptian, [2]
 
and everyone will fight against his brother, [2]
and everyone against his neighbor; [1]
 
city against city, [2]
kingdom [2]
against kingdom. [1]
3 וְנָבְקָ֤ה רוּחַ־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲצָת֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
אֲבַלֵּ֑עַ [1] Etnachta
 
וְדָרְשׁ֤וּ אֶל־הָֽאֱלִילִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאֶל־הָ֣אִטִּ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֶל־הָאֹב֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 3 And the spirit of Egypt will fail [3]
within it, [2]
 
and its counsel [2]
I will confuse; [1]
 
so they will consult the idols [3]
and the charmers, [2]
 
and the mediums [2]
and the familiar spirits. [1]
4 וְסִכַּרְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
בְּיַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
אֲדֹנִ֣ים קָשֶׁ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּמֶ֤לֶךְ עַז֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יִמְשׇׁל־בָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
נְאֻ֥ם הָאָד֖וֹן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

the Egyptians [2]
 
into the hand [2]
of a cruel master; [1]
 
and a fierce king, [3]
he will rule over them,” [2]
 
says the Lord [2]
GOD of Hosts. [1]
5 וְנִשְּׁתוּ־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
מֵֽהַיָּ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
וְנָהָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
יֶחֱרַ֥ב וְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 5 And the waters will dry up [2]
from the sea; [1]
 
and the river, [2]
it will be parched and it will be dried up. [1]
6 וְהֶאֶזְנִ֣יחוּ נְהָר֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
דָּלְל֥וּ וְחָרְב֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְאֹרֵ֣י מָצ֑וֹר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
קָנֶ֥ה וָס֖וּף [2] Merkha Tip'cha
קָמֵֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 6 Then the channels will stink, [2]
they will dwindle and they will dry up, [2]
the streams of Egypt; [1]
 
reeds and rushes, [2]
they will rot. [1]
7 עָר֥וֹת עַל־יְא֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־פִּ֣י יְא֑וֹר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְכֹל֙ [3] Pashta
מִזְרַ֣ע יְא֔וֹר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
יִיבַ֥שׁ נִדַּ֖ף [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאֵינֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 7 The bulrushes by the Nile, [2]
by the mouth of the Nile; [1]
 
and all [3]
the sown land of the Nile, [2]
 
it will wither, it will blow away, [2]
and it will be no more. [1]
8 וְאָנוּ֙ [3] Pashta
הַדַּיָּגִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְאָ֣בְל֔וּ [2] Munach Zaqef
כׇּל־מַשְׁלִיכֵ֥י בַיְא֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
חַכָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
וּפֹרְשֵׂ֥י מִכְמֹ֛רֶת [3] Merkha Tevir
עַל־פְּנֵי־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
אֻמְלָֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq

the fishermen, [2]
 
and they will mourn, [2]
all who cast in the Nile [2]
fish hooks; [1]
 
and those who spread nets [3]
on the waters, [2]
they will languish. [1]
9 וּבֹ֛שׁוּ [3] Tevir
עֹבְדֵ֥י פִשְׁתִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שְׂרִיק֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֹרְגִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
חוֹרָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 9 And they will be ashamed, [3]
the workers in flax, [2]
combed; [1]
 
and the weavers [2]
of white cloth. [1]
10 וְהָי֥וּ שָׁתֹתֶ֖יהָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מְדֻכָּאִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
כׇּל־עֹ֥שֵׂי שֶׂ֖כֶר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אַגְמֵי־נָֽפֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 10 And her pillars will be [2]
crushed; [1]
 
all who work for hire [2]
will be grieved in soul. [1]
11 אַךְ־אֱוִלִים֙ [3] Pashta
שָׂ֣רֵי צֹ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
חַכְמֵי֙ [3] Pashta
יֹעֲצֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
עֵצָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
נִבְעָרָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אֵ֚יךְ [3] Yetiv
תֹּאמְר֣וּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בֶּן־חֲכָמִ֥ים אֲנִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בֶּן־מַלְכֵי־קֶֽדֶם׃ [1] Silluq

are the princes of Zoan, [2]
 
the wisest [3]
of the counselors of Pharaoh, [2]
 
(whose) counsel [2]
is stupid; [1]
 
how [3]
can you say to Pharaoh, [2]
 
“A son of the wise am I, [2]
a son of ancient kings?” [1]
12 אַיָּם֙ [3] Pashta
אֵפ֣וֹא חֲכָמֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְיַגִּ֥ידוּ נָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לָ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וְיֵ֣דְע֔וּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
מַה־יָּעַ֛ץ [3] Tevir
יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־מִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq

then your wise men? [2]
 
Let them now tell [2]
you; [1]
 
and let them know [2]
 
what he has purposed, [3]
the LORD of Hosts, [2]
against Egypt. [1]
13 נֽוֹאֲלוּ֙ [3] Pashta
שָׂ֣רֵי צֹ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
נִשְּׁא֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
שָׂ֣רֵי נֹ֑ף [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הִתְע֥וּ אֶת־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
פִּנַּ֥ת שְׁבָטֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

the princes of Zoan, [2]
 
they are deceived, [2]
the princes of Noph; [1]
 
they have led Egypt astray, [2]
the cornerstone of her tribes. [1]
14 יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Tevir
מָסַ֥ךְ בְּקִרְבָּ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
ר֣וּחַ עִוְעִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְהִתְע֤וּ אֶת־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּכׇֽל־מַעֲשֵׂ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef
 
כְּהִתָּע֥וֹת שִׁכּ֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּקִיאֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

he has mixed within her [2]
a spirit of dizziness; [1]
 
and they make Egypt stagger [3]
in all of its works, [2]
 
as a drunkard staggers [2]
in his vomit. [1]
15 וְלֹא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לְמִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מַעֲשֶׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֧ר יַעֲשֶׂ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir
רֹ֥אשׁ וְזָנָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כִּפָּ֥ה וְאַגְמֽוֹן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 3 15 And there will not be for Egypt [2]
any work; [1]
 
which it will do [3]
head or tail, [2]
palm branch or bulrush. [1]
16 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא [2] Munach Zaqef
יִהְיֶ֥ה מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כַּנָּשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וְחָרַ֣ד ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
וּפָחַ֗ד [3] Revi'a
 
מִפְּנֵי֙ [3] Pashta
תְּנוּפַת֙ [3] Pashta
יַד־יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־ה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha
מֵנִ֥יף עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Egypt will be [2]
like women; [1]
 
and it will tremble [4]
and it will fear [3]
 
because of [3]
the shaking [3]
hand of the LORD of Hosts, [2]
 
which he [2]
shakes against it. [1]
17 וְ֠הָיְתָ֠ה [4] TelishaG
אַדְמַ֨ת יְהוּדָ֤ה לְמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לְחׇגָּ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
כֹּל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יַזְכִּ֥יר אֹתָ֛הּ [3] TelishaQ Qadma Merkha Tevir
אֵלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
יִפְחָ֑ד [1] Etnachta
 
מִפְּנֵ֗י [3] Revi'a
עֲצַת֙ [3] Pashta
יְהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁר־ה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha
יוֹעֵ֥ץ עָלָֽיו׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

the land of Judah to Egypt, [3]
a terror, [2]
 
anyone whom it is mentioned [3]
to him, [2]
he will be afraid; [1]
 
because of [3]
the purpose [3]
of the LORD of Hosts, [2]

has purposed against it. [1]

יִהְיוּ֩ חָמֵ֨שׁ עָרִ֜ים [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֗יִם [3] Munach Revi'a
 
מְדַבְּרוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
שְׂפַ֣ת כְּנַ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְנִשְׁבָּע֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
לַיהֹוָ֣ה צְבָא֑וֹת [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עִ֣יר הַהֶ֔רֶס [2] Munach Zaqef
יֵאָמֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לְאֶחָֽת׃ [1] Silluq

there will be five cities [4]
in the land of Egypt [3]
 
speaking [3]
the language of Canaan, [2]
 
and swearing allegiance [2]
to the LORD of Hosts; [1]
 
“The city of destruction” [2]
it will be called, [2]
one (of these). [1]

19 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא [3] Munach Revi'a
יִֽהְיֶ֤ה מִזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
בְּת֖וֹךְ [2] Tip'cha
אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וּמַצֵּבָ֥ה אֵצֶל־גְּבוּלָ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לַֽיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

there will be an altar [3]
to the LORD [2]
 
in the middle [2]
of the land of Egypt; [1]
 
and at its border a pillar [2]
to the LORD. [1]
20 וְהָיָ֨ה לְא֥וֹת וּלְעֵ֛ד [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir
לַיהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־יִצְעֲק֤וּ אֶל־יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מִפְּנֵ֣י לֹחֲצִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְיִשְׁלַ֥ח לָהֶ֛ם [3] Merkha Tevir
מוֹשִׁ֥יעַ וָרָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְהִצִּילָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 3 20 And it will be as a sign and as a witness [3]
to the LORD of Hosts [2]
in the land of Egypt; [1]
 
for they will cry out to the LORD [3]
because of oppressors, [2]
 
and he will send to them [3]
a savior and defender, [2]
and he will deliver them. [1]
21 וְנוֹדַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לְמִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef
 
וְיָדְע֥וּ מִצְרַ֛יִם [3] Merkha Tevir
אֶת־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְעָֽבְדוּ֙ [3] Pashta
זֶ֣בַח וּמִנְחָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְנָדְרוּ־נֵ֥דֶר לַיהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְשִׁלֵּֽמוּ׃ [1] Silluq

to Egypt, [2]
 
and the Egyptians will know [3]
the LORD [2]
in that day; [1]
 
and they will worship [3]
(with) sacrifice and offering, [2]
 
and they will vow a vow to the LORD, [2]
and they will fulfill it. [1]
22 וְנָגַ֧ף יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir
אֶת־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
נָגֹ֣ף וְרָפ֑וֹא [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְשָׁ֙בוּ֙ [3] Pashta
עַד־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְנֶעְתַּ֥ר לָהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּרְפָאָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

Egypt - [2]
striking yet healing; [1]
 
and they will turn [3]
to the LORD, [2]
 
and he will respond to them, [2]
and he will heal them. [1]

23 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא [3] Munach Revi'a
תִּהְיֶ֨ה מְסִלָּ֤ה מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
אַשּׁ֔וּרָה [2] Zaqef
 
וּבָא־אַשּׁ֥וּר בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּמִצְרַ֣יִם בְּאַשּׁ֑וּר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְעָבְד֥וּ מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶת־אַשּֽׁוּר׃ [1] Silluq

there will be a highway from Egypt [3]
to Assyria, [2]
 
and the Assyrians shall come to Egypt, [2]
and the Egyptians to Assyria; [1]
 
and the Egyptians will worship with [2]
the Assyrians. [1]

יִהְיֶ֤ה יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שְׁלִ֣ישִׁיָּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְמִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha
וּלְאַשּׁ֑וּר [1] Etnachta
 
בְּרָכָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
בְּקֶ֥רֶב הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

Israel will be [3]
the third, [2]
 
with Egypt [2]
and with Assyria; [1]
 
a blessing [2]
in the midst of the earth, [1]
25 אֲשֶׁ֧ר בֵּרְכ֛וֹ [3] Darga Tevir
יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
בָּר֨וּךְ עַמִּ֜י [4] Qadma Geresh
מִצְרַ֗יִם [3] Revi'a
 
וּמַעֲשֵׂ֤ה יָדַי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אַשּׁ֔וּר [2] Zaqef
 
וְנַחֲלָתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
