| 1 מַשָּׂ֖א [2] Tip'cha מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta רֹכֵ֨ב עַל־עָ֥ב קַל֙ [3] Qadma Merkha Pashta וּבָ֣א מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Munach Zaqef אֱלִילֵ֤י מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta מִפָּנָ֔יו [2] Zaqef יִמַּ֥ס בְּקִרְבּֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
1 The burden [2] of Egypt; [1] rides upon a swift cloud [3] and comes to Egypt, [2] the idols of Egypt [3] before Him, [2] it melts within them. [1] |

| 2 וְסִכְסַכְתִּ֤י מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef וְאִ֣ישׁ בְּרֵעֵ֑הוּ [1] Munach Etnachta מַמְלָכָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּמַמְלָכָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
2 And I will stir up Egyptian [3] against Egyptian, [2] and everyone against his neighbor; [1] kingdom [2] against kingdom. [1] |

| 3 וְנָבְקָ֤ה רוּחַ־מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef אֲבַלֵּ֑עַ [1] Etnachta וְאֶל־הָ֣אִטִּ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
3 And the spirit of Egypt will fail [3] within it, [2] I will confuse; [1] and the charmers, [2] and the familiar spirits. [1] |

| 4 וְסִכַּרְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta אֶת־מִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef אֲדֹנִ֣ים קָשֶׁ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta יִמְשׇׁל־בָּ֔ם [2] Zaqef יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
4 And I will give over [3] the Egyptians [2] of a cruel master; [1] he will rule over them,” [2] GOD of Hosts. [1] |

| 5 וְנִשְּׁתוּ־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha מֵֽהַיָּ֑ם [1] Etnachta יֶחֱרַ֥ב וְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
5 And the waters will dry up [2] from the sea; [1] it will be parched and it will be dried up. [1] |

| 6 וְהֶאֶזְנִ֣יחוּ נְהָר֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef דָּלְל֥וּ וְחָרְב֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha יְאֹרֵ֣י מָצ֑וֹר [1] Munach Etnachta קָמֵֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 Then the channels will stink, [2] they will dwindle and they will dry up, [2] the streams of Egypt; [1] they will rot. [1] |

7 The bulrushes by the Nile, [2] by the mouth of the Nile; [1] the sown land of the Nile, [2] and it will be no more. [1] |

| 8 וְאָנוּ֙ [3] Pashta הַדַּיָּגִ֔ים [2] Zaqef כׇּל־מַשְׁלִיכֵ֥י בַיְא֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha חַכָּ֑ה [1] Etnachta עַל־פְּנֵי־מַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha אֻמְלָֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
8 Then they will lament, [3] the fishermen, [2] all who cast in the Nile [2] fish hooks; [1] on the waters, [2] they will languish. [1] |

9 And they will be ashamed, [3] the workers in flax, [2] combed; [1] of white cloth. [1] |

| 10 וְהָי֥וּ שָׁתֹתֶ֖יהָ [2] Merkha Tip'cha מְדֻכָּאִ֑ים [1] Etnachta אַגְמֵי־נָֽפֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq |
10 And her pillars will be [2] crushed; [1] will be grieved in soul. [1] |

| 11 אַךְ־אֱוִלִים֙ [3] Pashta שָׂ֣רֵי צֹ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef יֹעֲצֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef נִבְעָרָ֑ה [1] Etnachta תֹּאמְר֣וּ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef בֶּן־מַלְכֵי־קֶֽדֶם׃ [1] Silluq |
11 Utter fools [3] are the princes of Zoan, [2] of the counselors of Pharaoh, [2] is stupid; [1] can you say to Pharaoh, [2] a son of ancient kings?” [1] |

13 They are fools, [3] the princes of Zoan, [2] the princes of Noph; [1] the cornerstone of her tribes. [1] |

14 The LORD, [3] he has mixed within her [2] a spirit of dizziness; [1] in all of its works, [2] in his vomit. [1] |

| 15 וְלֹא־יִהְיֶ֥ה לְמִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha מַעֲשֶׂ֑ה [1] Etnachta רֹ֥אשׁ וְזָנָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha כִּפָּ֥ה וְאַגְמֽוֹן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
15 And there will not be for Egypt [2] any work; [1] head or tail, [2] palm branch or bulrush. [1] |

16 In that day [2] Egypt will be [2] like women; [1] and it will fear [3] the shaking [3] hand of the LORD of Hosts, [2] shakes against it. [1] |

17 And it will become, [4] the land of Judah to Egypt, [3] a terror, [2] to him, [2] he will be afraid; [1] the purpose [3] of the LORD of Hosts, [2] has purposed against it. [1] § |

18 In that day [4] there will be five cities [4] in the land of Egypt [3] the language of Canaan, [2] to the LORD of Hosts; [1] it will be called, [2] one (of these). [1] § |

19 In that day, [3] there will be an altar [3] to the LORD [2] of the land of Egypt; [1] to the LORD. [1] |

| 20 וְהָיָ֨ה לְא֥וֹת וּלְעֵ֛ד [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir לַיהֹוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Munach Etnachta מִפְּנֵ֣י לֹחֲצִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef מוֹשִׁ֥יעַ וָרָ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְהִצִּילָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
20 And it will be as a sign and as a witness [3] to the LORD of Hosts [2] in the land of Egypt; [1] because of oppressors, [2] a savior and defender, [2] and he will deliver them. [1] |

| 21 וְנוֹדַ֤ע יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta לְמִצְרַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef אֶת־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא [1] Munach Etnachta זֶ֣בַח וּמִנְחָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְשִׁלֵּֽמוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
21 So the LORD will make himself known [3] to Egypt, [2] the LORD [2] in that day; [1] (with) sacrifice and offering, [2] and they will fulfill it. [1] |

| 22 וְנָגַ֧ף יְהֹוָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir אֶת־מִצְרַ֖יִם [2] Tip'cha נָגֹ֣ף וְרָפ֑וֹא [1] Munach Etnachta עַד־יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef וּרְפָאָֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס |
22 So the LORD will strike [3] Egypt - [2] striking yet healing; [1] to the LORD, [2] and he will heal them. [1] § |

23 In that day [3] there will be a highway from Egypt [3] to Assyria, [2] and the Egyptians to Assyria; [1] the Assyrians. [1] § |
