1 מַשָּׂ֖א [2] Tip'cha
מִדְבַּר־יָ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
כְּסוּפ֤וֹת בַּנֶּ֙גֶב֙ [3 3] Pashta
לַחֲלֹ֔ף [2] Zaqef
 
מִמִּדְבָּ֣ר בָּ֔א [2] Zaqef
מֵאֶ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha
נוֹרָאָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 2 1 The burden of the wilderness of the sea. ¶As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land. [2]
2 חָז֥וּת קָשָׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
הֻגַּד־לִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
הַבּוֹגֵ֤ד ׀ בּוֹגֵד֙ [3] Pashta
וְהַשּׁוֹדֵ֣ד ׀ שׁוֹדֵ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
עֲלִ֤י עֵילָם֙ [3] Pashta
צוּרִ֣י מָדַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
כׇּל־אַנְחָתָ֖הֿ [2] Tip'cha
הִשְׁבַּֽתִּי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 2 2 A grievous vision is declared to me. The treacherous man deals treacherously, and the destroyer destroys. Go up, Elam; attack! I have stopped all of Media’s sighing. [2]

מָלְא֤וּ מׇתְנַי֙ [3] Pashta
חַלְחָלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
צִירִ֣ים אֲחָז֔וּנִי [2] Zaqef
כְּצִירֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יוֹלֵדָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
נַעֲוֵ֣יתִי מִשְּׁמֹ֔עַ [2] Zaqef
נִבְהַ֖לְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
מֵרְאֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 2 3 Therefore my thighs are filled with anguish. Pains have seized me, like the pains of a woman in labor. I am in so much pain that I can’t hear. I am so dismayed that I can’t see. [3]

בִּֽעֲתָ֑תְנִי [1] Etnachta

נֶ֣שֶׁף חִשְׁקִ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
שָׂ֥ם לִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
לַחֲרָדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 4 My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me. [2]
5 עָרֹ֧ךְ הַשֻּׁלְחָ֛ן [3] Tevir
צָפֹ֥ה הַצָּפִ֖ית [2] Tip'cha
אָכ֣וֹל שָׁתֹ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
ק֥וּמוּ הַשָּׂרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מִשְׁח֥וּ מָגֵֽן׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 5 They prepare the table. They set the watch. They eat. They drink. Rise up, you princes, oil the shield! [3]
6 כִּ֣י כֹ֥ה אָמַ֛ר [3] Tevir
אֵלַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֲדֹנָ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
לֵ֚ךְ [3] Yetiv
הַֽעֲמֵ֣ד הַֽמְצַפֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִרְאֶ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
יַגִּֽיד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 6 For the Lord said to me, “Go, set a watchman. Let him declare what he sees. [3]
7 וְרָ֣אָה רֶ֗כֶב [3] Revi'i
צֶ֚מֶד [3] Yetiv
פָּרָשִׁ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
רֶ֥כֶב חֲמ֖וֹר [2] Tip'cha
רֶ֣כֶב גָּמָ֑ל [1] Etnachta
 
וְהִקְשִׁ֥יב קֶ֖שֶׁב [2] Tip'cha
רַב־קָֽשֶׁב׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 7 When he sees a troop, horsemen in pairs, a troop of donkeys, a troop of camels, he shall listen diligently with great attentiveness.” [3]
8 וַיִּקְרָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
אַרְיֵ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
עַל־מִצְפֶּ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh
אֲדֹנָ֗י [3] Revi'i
 
אָנֹכִ֞י [4] Gershayim
עֹמֵ֤ד תָּמִיד֙ [3] Pashta
יוֹמָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְעַ֨ל־מִשְׁמַרְתִּ֔י [2] Zaqef
אָנֹכִ֥י נִצָּ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־הַלֵּילֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 4 3 4 2 2 8 He cried like a lion: “Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and every night I stay at my post. [2]
9 וְהִנֵּה־זֶ֥ה בָא֙ [3] Pashta
רֶ֣כֶב אִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
 
צֶ֖מֶד [2] Tip'cha
פָּרָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וַיַּ֣עַן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
נָפְלָ֤ה נָֽפְלָה֙ [3] Pashta
בָּבֶ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
וְכׇל־פְּסִילֵ֥י אֱלֹהֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha
שִׁבַּ֥ר לָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 3 2 9 Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground. ¶ [3]
10 מְדֻשָׁתִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
וּבֶן־גׇּרְנִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
אֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁמַ֗עְתִּי [3] Revi'i
מֵאֵ֨ת יְהֹוָ֧ה צְבָא֛וֹת [3] Tevir
אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
הִגַּ֥דְתִּי לָכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 3 3 10 You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor!” That which I have heard from the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you. ¶ [2]

קֹרֵ֣א מִשֵּׂעִ֔יר [2] Zaqef

מַה־מִּלַּ֔יְלָה [2] Zaqef
 
שֹׁמֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
מַה־מִּלֵּֽיל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 2 11 The burden of Dumah. ¶One calls to me out of Seir, “Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?” [2]
12 אָמַ֣ר שֹׁמֵ֔ר [2] Zaqef
אָתָ֥ה בֹ֖קֶר [2] Tip'cha
וְגַם־לָ֑יְלָה [1] Etnachta
 
אִם־תִּבְעָי֥וּן בְּעָ֖יוּ [2] Tip'cha
שֻׁ֥בוּ אֵתָֽיוּ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 12 The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again.” ¶ [2]

בַּיַּ֤עַר בַּעְרַב֙ [3] Pashta
תָּלִ֔ינוּ [2] Zaqef
 
אֹרְח֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
דְּדָנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 13 The burden on Arabia. ¶In the forest in Arabia you will lodge, you caravans of Dedanites. [2]
14 לִקְרַ֥את צָמֵ֖א [2] Tip'cha
הֵתָ֣יוּ מָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta
 
יֹֽשְׁבֵי֙ [3] Pashta
אֶ֣רֶץ תֵּימָ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
בְּלַחְמ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
קִדְּמ֥וּ נֹדֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 14 They brought water to him who was thirsty. The inhabitants of the land of Tema met the fugitives with their bread. [2]
15 כִּֽי־מִפְּנֵ֥י חֲרָב֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
נָדָ֑דוּ [1] Etnachta
 
מִפְּנֵ֣י ׀ [4] Legarmeh
חֶ֣רֶב נְטוּשָׁ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
וּמִפְּנֵי֙ [3] Pashta
קֶ֣שֶׁת דְּרוּכָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וּמִפְּנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
כֹּ֥בֶד מִלְחָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 3 4 3 2 15 For they fled away from the swords, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow, and from the heat of battle. [2]

בְּע֤וֹד שָׁנָה֙ [3] Pashta
כִּשְׁנֵ֣י שָׂכִ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
וְכָלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־כְּב֥וֹד קֵדָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 16 For the Lord said to me, “Within a year, as a worker bound by contract would count it, all the glory of Kedar will fail, [3]
17 וּשְׁאָ֧ר מִסְפַּר־קֶ֛שֶׁת [3] Tevir
גִּבּוֹרֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־קֵדָ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
יִמְעָ֑טוּ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֛י [3] Tevir
יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
דִּבֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 3 17 and the residue of the number of the archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken it.” ¶ [3]
