1 מַשָּׂ֖א [2] Tip'cha
צֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
הֵילִ֣ילוּ ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
אֳנִיּ֣וֹת תַּרְשִׁ֗ישׁ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
כִּֽי־שֻׁדַּ֤ד מִבַּ֙יִת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מִבּ֔וֹא [2] Zaqef
 
מֵאֶ֥רֶץ כִּתִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
נִגְלָה־לָֽמוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

O ships of Tarshish, [3]
 
for it is destroyed so there is no house, [3]
no harbor, [2]
 
from the land of Cyprus [2]
it was revealed to them. [1]

O inhabitants of the coastland; [1]
 
O merchants of Sidon [3]
who passing over the sea, [2]
they have replenished you. [1]
3 וּבְמַ֤יִם רַבִּים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
זֶ֣רַע שִׁחֹ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
קְצִ֥יר יְא֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תְּבוּאָתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַתְּהִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
סְחַ֥ר גּוֹיִֽם׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

the grain of Shihor, [2]
 
the harvest of the Nile [2]
was her revenue; [1]
 
and she became [2]
a marketplace of nations. [1]

כִּֽי־אָמַ֣ר יָ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
מָע֥וֹז הַיָּ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
לֹא־חַ֣לְתִּי וְלֹֽא־יָלַ֗דְתִּי [3] Munach Revi'a
וְלֹ֥א גִדַּ֛לְתִּי [3] Merkha Tevir
בַּחוּרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
רוֹמַ֥מְתִּי בְתוּלֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

for the sea has spoken, [2]
the stronghold of the sea [2]
saying; [1]
 
“I have not travailed and I have not given birth, [3]
and I have not brought up [3]
young men, [2]
I have (not) raised young women.” [1]
5 כַּאֲשֶׁר־שֵׁ֖מַע [2] Tip'cha
לְמִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta
 
יָחִ֖ילוּ [2] Tip'cha
כְּשֵׁ֥מַע צֹֽר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

to Egypt; [1]
 
they will be in anguish [2]
at the report of Tyre. [1]

לָגֽוּר׃ [1] Silluq

who from days of old is its antiquity, [3]
whose feet have taken her [2]

כִּנְעָנֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha
נִכְבַּדֵּי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

the crowning one; [1]
 
whose merchants [3]

לְחַלֵּל֙ [3] Pashta
גְּא֣וֹן כׇּל־צְבִ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְהָקֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־נִכְבַּדֵּי־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

he has planned it; [1]
 
to defile [3]
the pride of all glory, [2]
 
to shame [2]
all the honored of the earth. [1]

O daughter of Tarshish, [2]
there is not [2]
a restraint anymore. [1]

נָטָ֣ה עַל־הַיָּ֔ם [2] Munach Zaqef
 
הִרְגִּ֖יז [2] Tip'cha
מַמְלָכ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
צִוָּ֣ה אֶל־כְּנַ֔עַן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לַשְׁמִ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
מָעֻזְנֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq

he has ordered concerning Canaan, [2]

הַֽמְעֻשָּׁקָ֞ה [4] Gershayim
בְּתוּלַ֣ת בַּת־צִיד֗וֹן [3] Munach Revi'a

ק֣וּמִי עֲבֹ֔רִי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
גַּם־שָׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לֹא־יָנ֥וּחַֽ לָֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

O crushed [4]
virgin daughter of Sidon, [3]
 
(to) Cyprus [3]
arise, cross over, [2]

יְסָדָ֣הּ לְצִיִּ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הֵקִ֣ימוּ *בחיניו **בַחוּנָ֗יו [3] Munach Revi'a
עֽוֹרְרוּ֙ [3] Pashta
אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef
 
שָׂמָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
לְמַפֵּלָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

this people [3]
who no longer exist, [2]
 
Assyria, [2]
they gave it to the desert animals; [1]
 
they raised up their siege towers, [3]
they stripped bare [3]
its palaces, [2]
 
they made it [2]
a ruin. [1]

שִׁבְעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כִּימֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
מֶ֣לֶךְ אֶחָ֑ד [1] Munach Etnachta
 
מִקֵּ֞ץ [4] Gershayim
שִׁבְעִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יִהְיֶ֣ה לְצֹ֔ר [2] Munach Zaqef
 
כְּשִׁירַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
הַזּוֹנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

in that day, [2]
 
that Tyre will be forgotten [3]
seventy years, [2]
 
like the days [2]
of one king; [1]
 
at the end [4]
of seventy years [3]
it will be to Tyre, [2]
 
like the song [2]
of the prostitute. [1]
16 קְחִ֥י כִנּ֛וֹר [3] Merkha Tevir
סֹ֥בִּי עִ֖יר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
זוֹנָ֣ה נִשְׁכָּחָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הֵיטִ֤יבִי נַגֵּן֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
הַרְבִּי־שִׁ֔יר [2] Zaqef
 
לְמַ֖עַן [2] Tip'cha
תִּזָּכֵֽרִי׃ [1] Silluq

O forgotten prostitute; [1]
 
play skillfully [3]
many songs, [2]
 
that [2]
you may be remembered. [1]

יִפְקֹ֤ד יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶת־צֹ֔ר [2] Zaqef
 
וְשָׁבָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְאֶתְנַנָּ֑הֿ [1] Etnachta
 
וְזָנְתָ֛ה [3] Tevir
אֶת־כׇּל־מַמְלְכ֥וֹת הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

of seventy years, [3]
 
the LORD will visit [3]
Tyre, [2]
 
and she will return [2]
to her trade; [1]
 
and she will play the prostitute [3]
with all the kingdoms of the world [2]
on the face of the earth. [1]

קֹ֚דֶשׁ [3] Yetiv
לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א יֵאָצֵ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א יֵחָסֵ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י לַיֹּשְׁבִ֞ים [4] Munach Gershayim
לִפְנֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יִהְיֶ֣ה סַחְרָ֔הּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לֶֽאֱכֹ֥ל לְשׇׂבְעָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְלִמְכַסֶּ֥ה עָתִֽיק׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

for eating sufficiently, [2]
and for fine clothing. [1]
