1 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֡וּא [4] Pazer יִפְקֹ֣ד יְהֹוָה֩ בְּחַרְבּ֨וֹ הַקָּשָׁ֜ה [4] Geresh וְהַגְּדוֹלָ֣ה וְהַחֲזָקָ֗ה [3] Revi'i נָחָ֣שׁ בָּרִ֔חַ [2] Zaqef לִוְיָתָ֔ן [2] Zaqef עֲקַלָּת֑וֹן [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁ֥ר בַּיָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס |
1 In that day, the LORD with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the twisted serpent; and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea. ¶ [4] |

2 In that day, sing to her, “A pleasant vineyard! [2] |

3 אֲנִ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta נֹֽצְרָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef אַשְׁקֶ֑נָּה [1] Etnachta יִפְקֹ֣ד עָלֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef אֶצֳּרֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq |
3 I, the LORD, am its keeper. I will water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I will keep it night and day. [3] |

4 חֵמָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֵ֣ין לִ֑י [1] Etnachta שָׁמִ֥יר שַׁ֙יִת֙ [3 3] Pashta בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֲצִיתֶ֥נָּה יָּֽחַד׃ [1] Silluq |
4 Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together. [2] |

5 א֚וֹ [3] Yetiv יַֽחֲזֵ֣ק בְּמָעוּזִּ֔י [2] Zaqef לִ֑י [1] Etnachta יַעֲשֶׂה־לִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq |
5 Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me. Let him make peace with me.” ¶ [3] |

6 הַבָּאִים֙ [3] Pashta יַשְׁרֵ֣שׁ יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta תְּנוּבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq פ |
6 In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud. They will fill the surface of the world with fruit. [3] |

7 Has he struck them as he struck those who struck them? Or are they killed like those who killed them were killed? [2] |

8 בְּסַאסְּאָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּשַׁלְחָ֣הּ תְּרִיבֶ֑נָּה [1] Etnachta בְּרוּח֥וֹ הַקָּשָׁ֖ה [2] Tip'cha בְּי֥וֹם קָדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
8 In measure, when you send them away, you contend with them. He has removed them with his rough blast in the day of the east wind. [2] |

9 לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'i בְּזֹאת֙ [3] Pashta יְכֻפַּ֣ר עֲוֺֽן־יַעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef כׇּל־פְּרִ֖י [2] Tip'cha הָסִ֣ר חַטָּאת֑וֹ [1] Etnachta כׇּל־אַבְנֵ֣י מִזְבֵּ֗חַ [3] Revi'i מְנֻפָּצ֔וֹת [2] Zaqef וְחַמָּנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq |
9 Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more. [3] |

10 כִּ֣י עִ֤יר בְּצוּרָה֙ [3] Pashta בָּדָ֔ד [2] Zaqef מְשֻׁלָּ֥ח וְנֶעֱזָ֖ב [2] Tip'cha כַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר [1] Etnachta וְשָׁ֥ם יִרְבָּ֖ץ [2] Tip'cha וְכִלָּ֥ה סְעִפֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq |
10 For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches. [3] |

11 בִּיבֹ֤שׁ קְצִירָהּ֙ [3] Pashta תִּשָּׁבַ֔רְנָה [2] Zaqef בָּא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha מְאִיר֣וֹת אוֹתָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta ה֔וּא [2] Zaqef לֹא־יְרַחֲמֶ֣נּוּ עֹשֵׂ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef לֹ֥א יְחֻנֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq פ |
11 When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off. The women will come and set them on fire, for they are a people of no understanding. Therefore he who made them will not have compassion on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor. ¶ [3] |

12 It will happen in that day that the LORD will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates to the brook of Egypt; and you will be gathered one by one, children of Israel. ¶ [3] |

13 וְהָיָ֣ה ׀ [4] Legarmeh בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא [3] Revi'i בְּשׁוֹפָ֣ר גָּדוֹל֒ [2] Segol הָאֹֽבְדִים֙ [3] Pashta בְּאֶ֣רֶץ אַשּׁ֔וּר [2] Zaqef בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta בְּהַ֥ר הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ [2] Tip'cha בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ [1] Silluq פ |
13 It will happen in that day that a great shofar will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem. ¶ [4] |
