| ישעה 29 | Isaiah 29 | |||
[1] Merkha Silluq |
1 Ah [3] Ariel, Ariel, [2] where David encamped; [1] to year, [2] let the feasts come around, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 but I will bring distress [2] to Ariel; [1] and moaning, [2] like Ariel? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
3 And I will encamp all around [2] against you; [1] of siege works, [2] battle towers. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
4 And you will be brought low, [3] from the ground you will speak, [2] your speech will be bowed down; [1] like a ghost out of the ground, [3] your voice; [2] your speech will whisper. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
5 Yet it will become [3] like fine dust, [2] the multitude of your foes; [1] the multitude of the ruthless, [2] in an instant, suddenly. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
6 By the LORD of Hosts [3] you will be visited, [2] and great noise; [1] and storm-wind, [2] of a consuming fire. [1] |
| 7 וְהָיָ֗ה [3] Revi'a כַּֽחֲלוֹם֙ [3] Pashta חֲז֣וֹן לַ֔יְלָה [2] Munach Zaqef כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef עַל־אֲרִיאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta וּמְצֹ֣דָתָ֔הּ [2] Munach Zaqef לָֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq |
7 And it will be [3] like a dream, [3] a vision of the night, [2] of all the nations [2] against Ariel; [1] and her stronghold, [2] to her. [1] |
| 8 וְהָיָ֡ה [4] Pazer כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ יַחֲלֹ֨ם הָרָעֵ֜ב [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh וְהִנֵּ֣ה אוֹכֵ֗ל [3] Munach Revi'a וְרֵיקָ֣ה נַפְשׁוֹ֒ [2] Munach Segol וְהִנֵּ֣ה שֹׁתֶ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef וְהִנֵּ֣ה עָיֵ֔ף [2] Munach Zaqef שׁוֹקֵקָ֑ה [1] Etnachta הֲמוֹן֙ [3] Pashta כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם [2] Zaqef עַל־הַ֥ר צִיּֽוֹן׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ |
8 And it will be [4] like a hungry man dreaming [4] and behold, he is eating, [3] with his hunger unsatisfied, [2] and behold, he is drinking, [2] and behold, he is faint, [2] thirsting; [1] (with) the multitude [3] of all the nations [2] against Mount Zion. [1] ¶ |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
9 Pause and be astounded! [2] Blind yourselves [2] and be blind; [1] stagger [2] but not with strong drink. [1] |
10 For the LORD has poured out on you [3] a spirit of deep sleep, [2] your eyes; [1] and your heads, the seers, [2] he has covered. [1] |
| 11 וַתְּהִ֨י לָכֶ֜ם [4] Qadma Geresh חָז֣וּת הַכֹּ֗ל [3] Munach Revi'a הַסֵּ֣פֶר הֶחָתוּם֒ [2] Munach Segol אֶל־יוֹדֵ֥עַ *הספר **סֵ֛פֶר [3] Merkha Tevir לֵאמֹ֖ר [2] Tip'cha קְרָ֣א נָא־זֶ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta לֹ֣א אוּכַ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq |
11 So it has become for you, [4] the entire vision, [3] of a sealed scroll, [2] to one who knows writing [3] saying, [2] “Read this please;” [1] “I can’t, [2] it is,” [1] |
| 12 וְנִתַּ֣ן הַסֵּ֗פֶר [3] Munach Revi'a עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹא־יָדַ֥ע סֵ֛פֶר [3] TelishaQ Qadma Merkha Tevir לֵאמֹ֖ר [2] Tip'cha קְרָ֣א נָא־זֶ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta לֹ֥א יָדַ֖עְתִּי [2] Merkha Tip'cha סֵֽפֶר׃ [1] Silluq ס |
12 Then the scroll is given [3] to one who doesn't know writing [3] saying, [2] “Read this please;” [1] “I don't know [2] writing.” [1] § |
| 13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲדֹנָ֗י [3] Munach Revi'a יַ֚עַן [3] Yetiv כִּ֤י נִגַּשׁ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef כִּבְּד֔וּנִי [2] Zaqef רִחַ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נִּי [1] Munach Etnachta אֹתִ֔י [2] Zaqef מְלֻמָּדָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
13 So the Lord says, [3] “Since [3] they draw near, [3] these people, [2] they honor me, [2] they have removed far from me; [1] of me [2] which has been taught, [1] |
| 14 לָכֵ֗ן [3] Revi'a הִנְנִ֥י יוֹסִ֛ף [3] Merkha Tevir לְהַפְלִ֥יא אֶת־הָעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha הַפְלֵ֣א וָפֶ֑לֶא [1] Munach Etnachta חׇכְמַ֣ת חֲכָמָ֔יו [2] Munach Zaqef תִּסְתַּתָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq ס |
14 therefore, [3] behold, I once more [3] will do a marvelous work among this people, [2] a marvel and a wonder; [1] the wisdom of their wise, [2] it will be concealed.” [1] § |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
15 Woe to [3] those who go to great depths, from the LORD [2] to hide a plan; [1] their works, [2] “Who sees us?” [2] and “Who knows us?” [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
16 Your perversity! [2] Like the clay, the potter, [2] shall he be regarded; [1] “He didn't make me,” [2] say of the one who formed it, [2] “He has no understanding”? [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
17 Will it not be just [3] a very little while, [2] into a fruitful field; [1] it will be regarded as a forest? [1] |
18 And they will hear in that day, [3] the deaf, [2] the words of a scroll; [1] the eyes of the blind, [2] they will see. [1] |
19 And the meek will increase [3] in the LORD, [2] (their) joy; [1] in the Holy One of Israel, [2] they will rejoice. [1] |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
20 For the ruthless will come to an end, [2] and the scoffer will be finished; [1] all who watch to do evil, [1] |
21 Those who make a man out to be guilty [3] with a word, [2] they lay a trap; [1] the righteous. [1] ¶ |
[1] Merkha Silluq |
22 Therefore [3] thus says the LORD [3] to the house of Jacob, [2] Abraham; [1] Jacob, [2] shall his face grow pale. [1] |
23 For when he sees [4] his children, [4] the work of my hands, [3] in his midst, [2] the Holy One of Jacob, [2] they will regard with awe. [1] |
24 And those who go astray in spirit will come to [2] understanding; [1] they will learn instruction.” [1] § |
