יִמְלׇךְ־מֶ֑לֶךְ [1] Etnachta

וּלְשָׂרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לְמִשְׁפָּ֥ט יָשֹֽׂרוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 1 Behold for righteousness, [2]

and princes, [2]
they shall rule for justice. [1]
2 וְהָיָה־אִ֥ישׁ כְּמַחֲבֵא־ר֖וּחַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְסֵ֣תֶר זָ֑רֶם [1] Munach Etnachta

כְּצֵ֥ל סֶלַע־כָּבֵ֖ד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּאֶ֥רֶץ עֲיֵפָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 And each shall be like a refuge from the wind, [2]
and a shelter from the storm; [1]

like streams of water in a dry place, [2]
like the shade of a massive rock [2]
in a weary land. [1]
3 וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁעֶ֖ינָה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עֵינֵ֣י רֹאִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta

וְאׇזְנֵ֥י שֹׁמְעִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תִּקְשַֽׁבְנָה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 Then they will not be closed, [2]
the eyes of those who see; [1]

and the ears of those who hear, [2]
they will pay attention. [1]

it will understand knowledge; [1]

and the tongue of stammerers, [2]
it will hasten [2]
to speak clearly. [1]

1 2 3 2 2 3 3 2 3 2 6 For the fool, [3]
foolishness he speaks, [2]

and his heart, [2]
it works wickedness; [1]

by practicing godlessness [3]
and by speaking about the LORD [3]
error, [2]

by keeping empty [3]
the appetite of the hungry, [2]

while of drink the thirsty [2]
he deprives. [1]
7 וְכֵלַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
כֵּלָ֣יו רָעִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta

wicked schemes he devises, [2]

to destroy the poor [3]
with lying words, [2]

even when the plea of the needy [2]
is just. [1]
