1 ה֣וֹי שׁוֹדֵ֗ד [3] Revi'i
וְאַתָּה֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א שָׁד֔וּד [2] Zaqef
 
וּבוֹגֵ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹא־בָ֣גְדוּ ב֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
כַּהֲתִֽמְךָ֤ שׁוֹדֵד֙ [3] Pashta
תּוּשַּׁ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
כַּנְּלֹתְךָ֥ לִבְגֹּ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
יִבְגְּדוּ־בָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 3 2 2 3 2 1 Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed. [3]
2 יְהֹוָ֥ה חׇנֵּ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
לְךָ֣ קִוִּ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
הֱיֵ֤ה זְרֹעָם֙ [3] Pashta
לַבְּקָרִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אַף־יְשׁוּעָתֵ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּעֵ֥ת צָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 2 LORD, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble. [2]

מֵר֣וֹמְמֻתֶ֔ךָ [2] Zaqef

1 2 2 2 2 3 At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered. [2]
4 וְאֻסַּ֣ף שְׁלַלְכֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
אֹ֖סֶף [2] Tip'cha
הֶֽחָסִ֑יל [1] Etnachta
 
כְּמַשַּׁ֥ק גֵּבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
שֹׁקֵ֥ק בּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 4 Your plunder will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap. [2]
5 נִשְׂגָּ֣ב יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
כִּ֥י שֹׁכֵ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
מָר֑וֹם [1] Etnachta
 
מִלֵּ֣א צִיּ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef
מִשְׁפָּ֖ט [2] Tip'cha
וּצְדָקָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 2 5 The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. [2]
6 וְהָיָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֱמוּנַ֣ת עִתֶּ֔יךָ [2] Zaqef
 
חֹ֥סֶן יְשׁוּעֹ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
חׇכְמַ֣ת וָדָ֑עַת [1] Etnachta
 
יִרְאַ֥ת יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
הִ֥יא אוֹצָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 6 There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is your treasure. [3]

1 2 3 2 2 2 7 Behold, their valiant ones cry outside; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly. [3]
8 נָשַׁ֣מּוּ מְסִלּ֔וֹת [2] Zaqef

עֹבֵ֣ר אֹ֑רַח [1] Etnachta
 
הֵפֵ֤ר בְּרִית֙ [3] Pashta

אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 8 The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man. [2]
9 אָבַ֤ל אֻמְלְלָה֙ [3] Pashta
אָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef
 
הֶחְפִּ֥יר לְבָנ֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
קָמַ֑ל [1] Etnachta
 
הָיָ֤ה הַשָּׁרוֹן֙ [3] Pashta
כָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
וְנֹעֵ֥ר בָּשָׁ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
וְכַרְמֶֽל׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 9 The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare. [3]

1 2 2 3 2 10 “Now I will arise,” says the LORD. “Now I will lift myself up. Now I will be exalted. [2]

תֵּ֣לְדוּ קַ֑שׁ [1] Etnachta
 
רוּחֲכֶ֕ם [2] ZaqefG

תֹּאכַלְכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 11 You will conceive chaff. You will give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you. [2]
12 וְהָי֥וּ עַמִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מִשְׂרְפ֣וֹת שִׂ֑יד [1] Etnachta
 
קוֹצִ֥ים כְּסוּחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בָּאֵ֥שׁ יִצַּֽתּוּ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 12 The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire. [2]
13 שִׁמְע֥וּ רְחוֹקִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֑יתִי [1] Etnachta
 
וּדְע֥וּ קְרוֹבִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
גְּבֻֽרָתִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 13 Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.” [2]
14 פָּחֲד֤וּ בְצִיּוֹן֙ [3] Pashta
חַטָּאִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
אָחֲזָ֥ה רְעָדָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
חֲנֵפִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
מִ֣י ׀ [4] Legarmeh
יָג֣וּר לָ֗נוּ [3] Revi'i
 
אֵ֚שׁ [3] Yetiv
אֽוֹכֵלָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
מִי־יָג֥וּר לָ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
מוֹקְדֵ֥י עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 4 3 2 14 The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning? [3]

מֵישָׁרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
מֹאֵ֞ס [4] Gershayim
בְּבֶ֣צַע מַעֲשַׁקּ֗וֹת [3] Revi'i
 
נֹעֵ֤ר כַּפָּיו֙ [3] Pashta
מִתְּמֹ֣ךְ בַּשֹּׁ֔חַד [2] Zaqef
 
אֹטֵ֤ם אׇזְנוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
מִשְּׁמֹ֣עַ דָּמִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וְעֹצֵ֥ם עֵינָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
מֵרְא֥וֹת בְּרָֽע׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 15 He who walks righteously and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil— [2]

מְצָד֥וֹת סְלָעִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
מִשְׂגַּבּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
לַחְמ֣וֹ נִתָּ֔ן [2] Zaqef
מֵימָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
נֶאֱמָנִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 16 he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure. [3]

תֶּחֱזֶ֣ינָה עֵינֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta
 
תִּרְאֶ֖ינָה [2] Tip'cha
אֶ֥רֶץ מַרְחַקִּֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 17 Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land. [2]

יֶהְגֶּ֣ה אֵימָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
אַיֵּ֤ה סֹפֵר֙ [3] Pashta
אַיֵּ֣ה שֹׁקֵ֔ל [2] Zaqef
 
אַיֵּ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
סֹפֵ֥ר אֶת־הַמִּגְדָּלִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 18 Your heart will meditate on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed? Where is he who counted the towers? [2]
19 אֶת־עַ֥ם נוֹעָ֖ז [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א תִרְאֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
עַ֣ם עִמְקֵ֤י שָׂפָה֙ [3] Pashta
מִשְּׁמ֔וֹעַ [2] Zaqef
 
נִלְעַ֥ג לָשׁ֖וֹן [2] Tip'cha
אֵ֥ין בִּינָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 19 You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand. [2]

קִרְיַ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
מוֹעֲדֵ֑נוּ [1] Etnachta
 
עֵינֶ֩יךָ֩ תִרְאֶ֨ינָה יְרוּשָׁלַ֜͏ִם [4] Geresh
נָוֶ֣ה שַׁאֲנָ֗ן [3] Revi'i
 
אֹ֤הֶל בַּל־יִצְעָן֙ [3] Pashta
בַּל־יִסַּ֤ע יְתֵדֹתָיו֙ [3] Pashta
לָנֶ֔צַח [2] Zaqef
 
וְכׇל־חֲבָלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
בַּל־יִנָּתֵֽקוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 4 3 3 2 20 Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken. [2]

מְקוֹם־נְהָרִ֥ים יְאֹרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
רַחֲבֵ֣י יָדָ֑יִם [1] Etnachta
 
בַּל־תֵּ֤לֶךְ בּוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
אֳנִי־שַׁ֔יִט [2] Zaqef
 
וְצִ֥י אַדִּ֖יר [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א יַעַבְרֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 2 3 2 21 But there the LORD will be with us in majesty, a place of wide rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there. [4]

ה֥וּא יוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 22 For the LORD is our judge. The LORD is our lawgiver. The LORD is our king. He will save us. [3]

חֲבָלָ֑יִךְ [1] Etnachta
 
בַּל־יְחַזְּק֤וּ כֵן־תׇּרְנָם֙ [3] Pashta
בַּל־פָּ֣רְשׂוּ נֵ֔ס [2] Zaqef
 
אָ֣ז חֻלַּ֤ק עַד־שָׁלָל֙ [3] Pashta
מַרְבֶּ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
פִּסְחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בָּ֥זְזוּ בַֽז׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 2 23 Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder was divided. The lame took the prey. [2]

1 2 2 3 24 The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity. ¶ [2]
