שָׁלַ֡ח [4] Pazer
מְרֹדַ֣ךְ בַּ֠לְאֲדָ֠ן [4] Munach TelishaG
בֶּֽן־בַּלְאֲדָ֧ן מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל [3] Darga Tevir
 
סְפָרִ֥ים וּמִנְחָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
אֶל־חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיִּשְׁמַ֕ע [2] ZaqefG
כִּ֥י חָלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַֽיֶּחֱזָֽק׃ [1] Silluq

Merodach-baladan [4]
son of Baladan king of Babylon, [3]
 
letters and a gift [2]
 
to Hezekiah; [1]
 
for he heard [2]
that he had been sick [2]
and he had recovered. [1]
2 וַיִּשְׂמַ֣ח עֲלֵיהֶם֮ [3] Munach Zarqa
חִזְקִיָּ֒הוּ֒ [2] Segol
 
וַיַּרְאֵ֣ם אֶת־בֵּ֣ית נְכֹתֹ֡ה [4] Munach Munach Pazer
אֶת־הַכֶּסֶף֩ וְאֶת־הַזָּהָ֨ב וְאֶת־הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh
וְאֵ֣ת ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
הַשֶּׁ֣מֶן הַטּ֗וֹב [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וְאֵת֙ [3] Pashta
כׇּל־בֵּ֣ית כֵּלָ֔יו [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאֵ֛ת [3] Tevir
כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִמְצָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּאֹצְרֹתָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
לֹא־הָיָ֣ה דָבָ֗ר [3] Munach Revi'a
 
אֲ֠שֶׁ֠ר [4] TelishaG
לֹֽא־הֶרְאָ֧ם חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ [3] Darga Tevir
בְּבֵית֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
 
וּבְכׇל־מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

so he showed them the house of his treasure, [4]
the silver and the gold and the spices, [4]

the precious oil, [3]

his whole armory, [2]

all that was found [2]
in his storehouses; [1]
 
there was nothing [3]
 
that [4]
Hezekiah did not show them [3]
in his house, [2]
 
or in all his realm. [1]

אֶל־הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ [2] Tip'cha
חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו [4] Qadma Geresh
מָ֥ה אָמְר֣וּ ׀ [4] Merkha Munach Legarmeh
הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ [3] Pashta
יָבֹ֣אוּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ [3] Pashta
חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef
 
מֵאֶ֧רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir
בָּ֥אוּ אֵלַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מִבָּבֶֽל׃ [1] Silluq

to the king [2]
Hezekiah; [1]
 
and he said to him, [4]
“What did they say, [4]
these men, [3]
 
and from where [3]
did they come to you?” [2]
 
And he replied, [3]
Hezekiah, [2]
 
“From a far country [3]
they have come to me, [2]
from Babylon.” [1]
4 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG
מָ֥ה רָא֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּבֵיתֶ֑ךָ [1] Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֣אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ [3] Munach Revi'a
אֵ֣ת כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֤ר בְּבֵיתִי֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
רָא֔וּ [2] Zaqef
 
לֹא־הָיָ֥ה דָבָ֛ר [3] Merkha Tevir
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־הִרְאִיתִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּאוֹצְרֹתָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

“What did they see [2]
in your house?” [1]
 
And Hezekiah answered, [3]
“All that is in my house [3]
they saw, [2]
 
there is nothing [3]
that I did not show them [2]
in my storehouses.” [1]
5 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְשַֽׁעְיָ֖הוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha

דְּבַר־יְהֹוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

to Hezekiah; [1]
 
“Hear [2]
the word of the LORD of Hosts, [1]
6 הִנֵּה֮ [3] Zarqa
יָמִ֣ים בָּאִים֒ [2] Munach Segol
 
וְנִשָּׂ֣א ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר אָצְר֧וּ אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
עַד־הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
 
בָּבֶ֑ל [1] Etnachta
 
לֹֽא־יִוָּתֵ֥ר דָּבָ֖ר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

days are coming [2]
 
when it will be carried off, [4]
all that is in your house, [3]
 
and that your fathers have stored up [3]
until this day, [2]
 
to Babylon; [1]
 
nothing will be left,’ [2]
says the LORD. [1]
7 וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ [4] Geresh
אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֵצְא֧וּ מִמְּךָ֛ [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
אֲשֶׁ֥ר תּוֹלִ֖יד [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יִקָּ֑חוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְהָיוּ֙ [3] Pashta
סָרִיסִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
בְּהֵיכַ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
מֶ֥לֶךְ בָּבֶֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 4 2 3 2 7 ‘And some of your own descendants [4]
who will come forth from you, [3]
whom you shall father, [2]
will be taken away; [1]
 
and they will become [3]
eunuchs [2]
 
in the palace [2]
of the king of Babylon.’ ” [1]
8 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֶֽל־יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef
 
ט֥וֹב דְּבַר־יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיֹּ֕אמֶר [2] ZaqefG
 
כִּ֥י יִהְיֶ֛ה [3] Merkha Tevir
שָׁל֥וֹם וֶאֱמֶ֖ת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּיָמָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

to Isaiah, [2]
 
“Good is the word of the LORD [2]
which you have spoken;” [1]
 
and he said, [2]
 
“For there will be [3]
peace and security [2]
in my days.” [1]
