1 “Comfort, comfort [2]  my people,” [1] your God. [1]  |

| 2 דַּבְּר֞וּ [4] Gershayim  עַל־לֵ֤ב יְרוּשָׁלַ֙͏ִם֙ [3 3] Pashta וְקִרְא֣וּ אֵלֶ֔יהָ [2] Zaqef צְבָאָ֔הּ [2] Zaqef עֲוֺנָ֑הּ [1] Etnachta מִיַּ֣ד יְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef בְּכׇל־חַטֹּאתֶֽיהָ׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
2 “Speak [4]  to the heart of Jerusalem [3 3] and proclaim to her, [2] her service, [2] her iniquity; [1] from the hand of the LORD [2] for all her sins.” [1] §  |

| 3 ק֣וֹל קוֹרֵ֔א [2] Zaqef  בַּמִּדְבָּ֕ר [2] ZaqefG פַּנּ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha דֶּ֣רֶךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta בָּעֲרָבָ֔ה [2] Zaqef לֵאלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
3 A voice is calling out, [2]  “In the wilderness [2] make clear [2] the way of the LORD! [1] in the desert plain, [2] for our God. [1]  |

| 4 כׇּל־גֶּיא֙ [3] Pashta  יִנָּשֵׂ֔א [2] Zaqef יִשְׁפָּ֑לוּ [1] Etnachta לְמִישׁ֔וֹר [2] Zaqef לְבִקְעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
4 Every valley, [3]  it will be lifted up, [2] they will become low; [1] level ground, [2] a plain. [1]  |

| 5 וְנִגְלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha  כְּב֣וֹד יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta יַחְדָּ֔ו [2] Zaqef פִּ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha דִּבֵּֽר׃ [1] Silluq פ  | 
5 And it will be revealed, [2]  the glory of the LORD; [1] together, [2] the mouth of the LORD [2] has spoken it.” [1] §  |

| 6 ק֚וֹל [3] Yetiv  אֹמֵ֣ר קְרָ֔א [2] Zaqef מָ֣ה אֶקְרָ֑א [1] Etnachta וְכׇל־חַסְדּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha כְּצִ֥יץ הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
6 A voice [3]  is saying, “Proclaim!” [2] “What will I proclaim?” [1] and all its glory [2] is like the flower of the field. [1]  |

| 7 יָבֵ֤שׁ חָצִיר֙ [3] Pashta  נָ֣בֵֽל צִ֔יץ [2] Zaqef ר֥וּחַ יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha נָ֣שְׁבָה בּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta הָעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq  | 
7 The grass dries up, [3]  the flower withers, [2] the breath of the LORD, [2] it blows on it; [1] are the people. [1]  |

| 8 יָבֵ֥שׁ חָצִ֖יר [2] Tip'cha  נָ֣בֵֽל צִ֑יץ [1] Etnachta יָק֥וּם לְעוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
8 The grass dries up, [2]  the flower withers; [1] it will stand forever.” [1] §  |

| 9 עַ֣ל הַר־גָּבֹ֤הַּ עֲלִי־לָךְ֙ [3] Pashta  מְבַשֶּׂ֣רֶת צִיּ֔וֹן [2] Zaqef קוֹלֵ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם [1] Etnachta אַל־תִּירָ֔אִי [2] Zaqef לְעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה [2] Zaqef אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq  | 
9 Put yourself up on a high mountain [3]  O bearer of news to Zion. [2] your voice, [2] to Jerusalem! [1] Don’t be afraid! [2] to the cities of Judah, [2] your God!” [1]  |

| 10 הִנֵּ֨ה אֲדֹנָ֤י יֱהֹוִה֙ [3] Pashta  בְּחָזָ֣ק יָב֔וֹא [2] Zaqef מֹ֣שְׁלָה ל֑וֹ [1] Etnachta אִתּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef לְפָנָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq  | 
10 Behold, the Lord GOD, [3]  he will come as a mighty one, [2] ruling for him. [1] is with him, [2] is before him. [1]  |

| 11 כְּרֹעֶה֙ [3] Pashta  עֶדְר֣וֹ יִרְעֶ֔ה [2] Zaqef יְקַבֵּ֣ץ טְלָאִ֔ים [2] Zaqef יִשָּׂ֑א [1] Etnachta יְנַהֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
11 Like a shepherd [3]  his flock he will shepherd, [2] he will gather lambs, [2] he will carry (them); [1] he will lead. [1] §  |

12 Who has measured in the hollow of his hand [4]  the waters, [3] with the span has marked off, [2] the dust of the earth; [1] the mountains, [2] with scales? [1]  |

| 13 מִֽי־תִכֵּ֥ן אֶת־ר֖וּחַ [2] Tip'cha  יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta עֲצָת֥וֹ יוֹדִיעֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
13 Who has directed the Spirit [2]  of the LORD; [1] will teach him? [1]  |

| 14 אֶת־מִ֤י נוֹעָץ֙ [3] Pashta  וַיְבִינֵ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef בְּאֹ֣רַח מִשְׁפָּ֑ט [1] Etnachta וְדֶ֥רֶךְ תְּבוּנ֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha יוֹדִיעֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
14 With whom did he take counsel [3]  and who instructed him, [2] in the path of justice; [1] and the way of understanding [2] will show him? [1]  |

| 15 הֵ֤ן גּוֹיִם֙ [3] Pashta  כְּמַ֣ר מִדְּלִ֔י [2] Zaqef נֶחְשָׁ֑בוּ [1] Etnachta כַּדַּ֥ק יִטּֽוֹל׃ [1] Silluq  | 
15 Behold the nations [3]  like a drop from a bucket, [2] they are regarded; [1] like fine dust he lifts up. [1]  |

| 16 וּלְבָנ֕וֹן [2] ZaqefG  אֵ֥ין דֵּ֖י [2] Tip'cha בָּעֵ֑ר [1] Etnachta אֵ֥ין דֵּ֖י [2] Tip'cha עוֹלָֽה׃ [1] Silluq פ  | 
16 And Lebanon [2]  is not sufficient [2] to burn; [1] not sufficient [2] for a burnt offering. [1] §  |

| 17 כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha  כְּאַ֣יִן נֶגְדּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta נֶחְשְׁבוּ־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
17 All the nations [2]  are as nothing before him; [1] they are regarded by him. [1]  |

| 18 וְאֶל־מִ֖י [2] Tip'cha  תְּדַמְּי֣וּן אֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta תַּ֥עַרְכוּ לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
18 To whom then [2]  will you liken God? [1] will you compare to him? [1]  |

| 19 הַפֶּ֙סֶל֙ [3 3] Pashta  נָסַ֣ךְ חָרָ֔שׁ [2] Zaqef בַּזָּהָ֣ב יְרַקְּעֶ֑נּוּ [1] Etnachta צוֹרֵֽף׃ [1] Silluq  | 
19 The idol [3 3]  a craftsman has cast, [2] with gold he overlays it; [1] refines. [1]  |

| 20 הַֽמְסֻכָּ֣ן תְּרוּמָ֔ה [2] Zaqef  עֵ֥ץ לֹא־יִרְקַ֖ב [2] Tip'cha יִבְחָ֑ר [1] Etnachta יְבַקֶּשׁ־ל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef לֹ֥א יִמּֽוֹט׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
20 He who is too impoverished for such an offering, [2]  a tree that will not rot [2] he chooses; [1] he seeks for himself, [2] that will not be moved. [1] §  |

| 21 הֲל֤וֹא תֵֽדְעוּ֙ [3] Pashta  הֲל֣וֹא תִשְׁמָ֔עוּ [2] Zaqef הֻגַּ֥ד מֵרֹ֖אשׁ [2] Tip'cha לָכֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta הֲבִ֣ינוֹתֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef הָאָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
21 Do you not know? [3]  Have you not heard? [2] it been told from the beginning [2] to you? [1] you understood [2] of the earth? [1]  |

| 22 הַיֹּשֵׁב֙ [3] Pashta  עַל־ח֣וּג הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef כַּחֲגָבִ֑ים [1] Etnachta שָׁמַ֔יִם [2] Zaqef לָשָֽׁבֶת׃ [1] Silluq  | 
22 The one who sits [3]  above the circle of the earth, [2] like grasshoppers; [1] the heavens, [2] to dwell in, [1]  |

| 23 הַנּוֹתֵ֥ן רוֹזְנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha  לְאָ֑יִן [1] Etnachta כַּתֹּ֥הוּ עָשָֽׂה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
23 the one who brings rulers [2]  to nothing; [1] he makes meaningless. [1]  |

| 24 אַ֣ף בַּל־נִטָּ֗עוּ [3] Revi'i  אַ֚ף [3] Yetiv בַּל־זֹרָ֔עוּ [2] Zaqef בַּל־שֹׁרֵ֥שׁ בָּאָ֖רֶץ [2] Tip'cha גִּזְעָ֑ם [1] Etnachta וַיִּבָ֔שׁוּ [2] Zaqef כַּקַּ֥שׁ תִּשָּׂאֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
24 Scarcely have they been planted, [3]  scarcely [3] have they been sown, [2] has it taken root in the ground, [2] their rootstock; [1] and they dry up, [2] like chaff it carries them off. [1] §  |

| 25 וְאֶל־מִ֥י תְדַמְּי֖וּנִי [2] Tip'cha  וְאֶשְׁוֶ֑ה [1] Etnachta קָדֽוֹשׁ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
25 “To whom then will you liken me? [2]  Who is my equal?” [1] the Holy One. [1]  |

| 26 שְׂאוּ־מָר֨וֹם עֵינֵיכֶ֤ם וּרְאוּ֙ [3] Pashta  מִי־בָרָ֣א אֵ֔לֶּה [2] Zaqef צְבָאָ֑ם [1] Etnachta בְּשֵׁ֣ם יִקְרָ֔א [2] Zaqef וְאַמִּ֣יץ כֹּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef לֹ֥א נֶעְדָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
26 Lift up your eyes on high and see, [3]  who has created these, [2] their multitude? [1] by name he calls. [2] and strength of power, [2] is not missing. [1] §  |

| 27 לָ֤מָּה תֹאמַר֙ [3] Pashta  יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב [2] Zaqef יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל [1] Etnachta מֵיְהֹוָ֔ה [2] Zaqef מִשְׁפָּטִ֥י יַעֲבֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq  | 
27 Why do you say [3]  O Jacob, [2] O Israel; [1] from the LORD, [2] the justice due me is disregarded?” [1]  |

| 28 הֲל֨וֹא יָדַ֜עְתָּ [4] Geresh  אִם־לֹ֣א שָׁמַ֗עְתָּ [3] Revi'i בּוֹרֵא֙ [3] Pashta קְצ֣וֹת הָאָ֔רֶץ [2] Zaqef וְלֹ֣א יִיגָ֑ע [1] Etnachta לִתְבוּנָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
28 Do you not know? [4]  Or have you not heard? [3] the Creator [3] of the ends of the earth, [2] and he doesn't grow weary; [1] is his understanding, [1]  |

| 29 נֹתֵ֥ן לַיָּעֵ֖ף [2] Tip'cha  כֹּ֑חַ [1] Etnachta עׇצְמָ֥ה יַרְבֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq  | 
29 giving to the weary [2]  strength; [1] strength he increases. [1]  |

| 30 וְיִעֲפ֥וּ נְעָרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha  וְיִגָ֑עוּ [1] Etnachta כָּשׁ֥וֹל יִכָּשֵֽׁלוּ׃ [1] Silluq  | 
30 Even youths faint [2]  and they grow weary; [1] they surely stumble, [1]  |

| 31 וְקוֹיֵ֤ יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta  יַחֲלִ֣יפוּ כֹ֔חַ [2] Zaqef כַּנְּשָׁרִ֑ים [1] Etnachta וְלֹ֣א יִיגָ֔עוּ [2] Zaqef וְלֹ֥א יִיעָֽפוּ׃ [1] Silluq ס  | 
31 but those who wait for the LORD, [3]  they will renew strength, [2] like eagles; [1] and they will not be weary, [2] and they will not faint. [1] ¶  |
