1 רׇנִּ֥י עֲקָרָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יָלָ֑דָה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
פִּצְחִ֨י רִנָּ֤ה וְצַֽהֲלִי֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לֹא־חָ֔לָה [2] Zaqef
 
כִּֽי־רַבִּ֧ים בְּֽנֵי־שׁוֹמֵמָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir
מִבְּנֵ֥י בְעוּלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 3 1 “Sing O barren one [2]
who has not given birth; [1]
 
break forth into singing and shout, [3]
O one who has not been in labor, [2]
 
for more will be the children of the desolate [3]
than the children of the married one,” [2]
says the LORD. [1]
2 הַרְחִ֣יבִי ׀ [4] Munach Legarmeh
מְק֣וֹם אׇהֳלֵ֗ךְ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וִֽירִיע֧וֹת מִשְׁכְּנוֹתַ֛יִךְ [3] Darga Tevir
יַטּ֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
 
אַל־תַּחְשֹׂ֑כִי [1] Etnachta
 
הַאֲרִ֙יכִי֙ [3] Pashta
מֵיתָרַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וִיתֵדֹתַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
חַזֵּֽקִי׃ [1] Silluq

and the curtains of your dwellings, [3]

גּוֹיִ֣ם יִירָ֔שׁ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְעָרִ֥ים נְשַׁמּ֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יוֹשִֽׁיבוּ׃ [1] Silluq

you will spread out; [1]
 
and your offspring [3]
will possess nations, [2]
 
and desolate cities [2]
they will resettle. [1]
4 אַל־תִּֽירְאִי֙ [3] Pashta
כִּי־לֹ֣א תֵב֔וֹשִׁי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְאַל־תִּכָּֽלְמִ֖י [2] Tip'cha
כִּ֣י לֹ֣א תַחְפִּ֑ירִי [1] Munach Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י בֹ֤שֶׁת עֲלוּמַ֙יִךְ֙ [3] Munach Mapakh Pashta
תִּשְׁכָּ֔חִי [2] Zaqef
 
וְחֶרְפַּ֥ת אַלְמְנוּתַ֖יִךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֥א תִזְכְּרִי־עֽוֹד׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

for you will not be ashamed, [2]
 
and do not be confounded, [2]
for you will not be disgraced; [1]
 
for the shame of your youth [3]
you will forget, [2]
 
and the reproach of your widowhood [2]

קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֱלֹהֵ֥י כׇל־הָאָ֖רֶץ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יִקָּרֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq

the LORD of Hosts [2]
is his name; [1]
 
and your Redeemer [3]
is the Holy One of Israel, [2]
 
God of all the earth [2]
He will be called. [1]
6 כִּֽי־כְאִשָּׁ֧ה עֲזוּבָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir
וַעֲצ֥וּבַת ר֖וּחַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
קְרָאָ֣ךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֧שֶׁת נְעוּרִ֛ים [3] Darga Tevir
כִּ֥י תִמָּאֵ֖ס [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָמַ֥ר אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 6 For like a wife deserted [3]
and grieved in spirit, [2]
the LORD has called you back; [1]
 
like a wife of one's youth [3]
that is rejected,” [2]
says your God. [1]
7 בְּרֶ֥גַע קָטֹ֖ן [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עֲזַבְתִּ֑יךְ [1] Etnachta
 
וּבְרַחֲמִ֥ים גְּדֹלִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֲקַבְּצֵֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

I deserted you; [1]
 
but with great compassion [2]
I will regather you. [1]
8 בְּשֶׁ֣צֶף קֶ֗צֶף [3] Munach Revi'a
הִסְתַּ֨רְתִּי פָנַ֥י רֶ֙גַע֙ [3] Qadma Merkha Pashta
מִמֵּ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְחֶ֥סֶד עוֹלָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
רִחַמְתִּ֑יךְ [1] Etnachta
 
אָמַ֥ר גֹּאֲלֵ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

I hid my face for a moment [3]
from you, [2]
 
but with everlasting lovingkindness [2]
I will have compassion on you,” [1]

ע֖וֹד [2] Tip'cha
עַל־הָאָ֑רֶץ [1] Etnachta
 
כֵּ֥ן נִשְׁבַּ֛עְתִּי [3] Merkha Tevir
מִקְּצֹ֥ף עָלַ֖יִךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וּמִגְּעׇר־בָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

which I swore [3]
from making the waters of Noah go [3]
again [2]
over the earth; [1]
 
so I swear [3]
from being angry with you [2]
and from rebuking you. [1]

וְהַגְּבָע֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
תְּמוּטֶ֑ינָה [1] Etnachta
 
וְחַסְדִּ֞י [4] Gershayim
מֵאִתֵּ֣ךְ לֹא־יָמ֗וּשׁ [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וּבְרִ֤ית שְׁלוֹמִי֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לֹ֣א תָמ֔וּט [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אָמַ֥ר מְרַחֲמֵ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

they will be removed, [2]
 
and the hills, [2]
they will be shaken; [1]
 
but my lovingkindness, [4]
from you it will not be removed, [3]
 
and my covenant of peace, [3]

הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י [4] Qadma Geresh
מַרְבִּ֤יץ בַּפּוּךְ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
אֲבָנַ֔יִךְ [2] Zaqef
 
וִֽיסַדְתִּ֖יךְ [2] Tip'cha
בַּסַּפִּירִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

unconsoled; [1]
 
behold, I [4]
set in antimony [3]
your stones, [2]
 
and I lay your foundations [2]

לְאַבְנֵ֣י אֶקְדָּ֑ח [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְכׇל־גְּבוּלֵ֖ךְ [2] Tip'cha
לְאַבְנֵי־חֵֽפֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

your pinnacles, [2]
 
and your gates [2]
of crystal; [1]
 
and all your walls [2]
of precious stones. [1]
13 וְכׇל־בָּנַ֖יִךְ [2] Tip'cha
לִמּוּדֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְרַ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
שְׁל֥וֹם בָּנָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 13 And all your children [2]
will be taught by the LORD; [1]
 
and great [2]
will be the peace of your children. [1]
14 בִּצְדָקָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
תִּכּוֹנָ֑נִי [1] Etnachta
 
רַחֲקִ֤י מֵעֹ֙שֶׁק֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
כִּי־לֹ֣א תִירָ֔אִי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּמִ֨מְּחִתָּ֔ה [2] Qadma Zaqef
כִּ֥י לֹֽא־תִקְרַ֖ב [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֵלָֽיִךְ׃ [1] Silluq

you will be established; [1]
 
far from oppression, [3]
for you will not be afraid, [2]
 
and from terror, [2]
for it shall not come near [2]
to you. [1]
15 הֵ֣ן גּ֥וֹר יָג֛וּר [3] Munach Merkha Tevir
אֶ֖פֶס [2] Tip'cha
מֵאוֹתִ֑י [1] Etnachta
 
מִי־גָ֥ר אִתָּ֖ךְ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עָלַ֥יִךְ יִפּֽוֹל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

will it be from me; [1]
 
whoever stirs up strife against you, [2]
because of you he will fall. [1]

וּמוֹצִ֥יא כְלִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְמַעֲשֵׂ֑הוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְאָנֹכִ֛י [3] Tevir
בָּרָ֥אתִי מַשְׁחִ֖ית [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְחַבֵּֽל׃ [1] Silluq

I created the craftsman, [2]
 
who blows [3]
on a fire of coals [2]
 
and produces a weapon [2]

תַּרְשִׁ֑יעִי [1] Etnachta
 
זֹ֡את [4] Pazer
נַחֲלַת֩ עַבְדֵ֨י יְהֹוָ֧ה וְצִדְקָתָ֛ם [3] TelishaQ Qadma Darga Tevir
מֵאִתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
נְאֻם־יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

formed against you [3]
will not succeed, [2]
 
and every tongue [3]
that rises against you in judgment, [2]
you will refute; [1]
 
this [4]
is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication [3]
