ישעה 58 | Isaiah 58 | |||
1 “Cry aloud, [3] don’t hold back! [2] lift up your voice; [1] their transgression, [2] their sins. [1] |
2 וְאוֹתִ֗י [3] Revi'i י֥וֹם יוֹם֙ [3] Pashta יִדְרֹשׁ֔וּן [2] Zaqef יֶחְפָּצ֑וּן [1] Etnachta אֲשֶׁר־צְדָקָ֣ה עָשָׂ֗ה [3] Revi'i לֹ֣א עָזָ֔ב [2] Zaqef מִשְׁפְּטֵי־צֶ֔דֶק [2] Zaqef יֶחְפָּצֽוּן׃ [1] Silluq |
2 Yet I, [3] day by day [3] they seek, [2] they desire; [1] which righteousness has done, [3] it has not forsaken, [2] righteous judgments, [2] they desire. [1] |
3 ‘Why have we fasted [3 3] and you have not seen - [2] and you don’t notice?’ [1] you seek pleasure, [2] you drive hard. [1] |
4 Behold, for strife and contention [3] you fast, [2] with a fist of wickedness; [1] to make heard on high [2] your voice. [1] |
5 הֲכָזֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i יִֽהְיֶה֙ [3] Pashta צ֣וֹם אֶבְחָרֵ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef עַנּ֥וֹת אָדָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha נַפְשׁ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta רֹאשׁ֗וֹ [3] Revi'i יַצִּ֔יעַ [2] Zaqef תִּקְרָא־צ֔וֹם [2] Zaqef לַיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
5 Like this, [3] is [3] the fast which I have chosen? [2] for one to humble [2] his soul; [1] his head, [3] spread under him? [2] do you call a fast, [2] to the LORD? [1] |
6 “Is not this [3] the fast which I have chosen - [2 2] the bonds of wickedness, [2] the straps of the yoke; [1] free, [2] you break? [1] |
7 Is it not to distribute to the hungry [3] your bread, [2] bring into your house; [1] that you cover him, [2] you not hide yourself? [1] |
8 Then it will break forth like the dawn, [3 3] your light, [2] quickly it will spring up; [1] your righteousness, [2] it will be your rear guard. [1] |
9 Then you will call [3] and the LORD will answer, [2] and he will say, ‘Here I am.’ [1] the yoke, [2] and speaking wickedly, [1] |
10 and you offer to the hungry [3] your soul, [2] you satisfy; [1] your light, [2] will be like the noonday, [1] |
11 and the LORD will lead you [3] continually, [2] your soul, [2] he will strengthen; [1] like a watered garden, [2] that they will not fail, [2] its waters. [1] |
12 And some of you will rebuild [3] the ancient ruins, [2] you will raise up; [1] repairer of a breach, [2] for dwellings. [1] |
13 “If you turn back from the Sabbath [3] your foot, [2] on my holy day; [1] a delight, [3] honorable, [2] from going your own ways, [2] and speaking a word, [1] |
14 then [3] you will delight [3] in the LORD, [2] on the high places of the earth; [1] the heritage [3] of Jacob your father,” [2] the mouth of the LORD [2] has spoken it. [1] ¶ |
