1 כִּקְדֹ֧חַ אֵ֣שׁ הֲמָסִ֗ים [3] Darga Munach Revi'a
מַ֚יִם [3] Yetiv
תִּבְעֶה־אֵ֔שׁ [2] Zaqef
 
לְהוֹדִ֥יעַ שִׁמְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְצָרֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta
 
מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
גּוֹיִ֥ם יִרְגָּֽזוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 As fire kindles brushwood, [3]
as water, [3]
the fire boils, [2]
 
make known your name [2]
to your foes; [1]
 
that before you [2]
the nations may tremble! [1]
2 בַּעֲשׂוֹתְךָ֥ נוֹרָא֖וֹת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א נְקַוֶּ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
יָרַ֕דְתָּ [2] ZaqefG
מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
הָרִ֥ים נָזֹֽלּוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

that we were not expecting; [1]
 
you came down, [2]
and at your presence [2]
the mountains shook! [1]

3 וּמֵעוֹלָ֥ם לֹֽא־שָׁמְע֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א הֶאֱזִ֑ינוּ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
עַ֣יִן לֹֽא־רָאָ֗תָה [3] Munach Revi'a
אֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta
זוּלָ֣תְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִמְחַכֵּה־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 3 2 4 For from days of old no one has heard, [2]
no ear perceived; [1]
 
no eye has seen [3]
any God [3]
except you, [2]
 
who acts [2]
for the one who waits for him. [1]
4 פָּגַ֤עְתָּ אֶת־שָׂשׂ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְעֹ֣שֵׂה צֶ֔דֶק [2] Munach Zaqef
 
בִּדְרָכֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
יִזְכְּר֑וּךָ [1] Etnachta
 
הֵן־אַתָּ֤ה קָצַ֙פְתָּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וַֽנֶּחֱטָ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
בָּהֶ֥ם עוֹלָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃ [1] Silluq

in doing righteousness, [2]
 
who in your ways [2]
they remember you. [1]
 
Behold you, you were angry [3]
when we sinned. [2]
 
Continuing in it for a long time, [2]
shall we be saved? [1]
5 וַנְּהִ֤י כַטָּמֵא֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
כֻּלָּ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וּכְבֶ֥גֶד עִדִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כׇּל־צִדְקֹתֵ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַנָּ֤בֶל כֶּֽעָלֶה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
כֻּלָּ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲוֺנֵ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
כָּר֥וּחַ יִשָּׂאֻֽנוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 6 For we have become like the unclean, [3]
all of us, [2]
 
and like a filthy garment [2]
is all our righteousness; [1]
 
and we wither like a leaf, [3]
all of us, [2]
 
and our iniquities, [2]
like the wind they carry us away. [1]
6 וְאֵין־קוֹרֵ֣א בְשִׁמְךָ֔ [2] Munach Zaqef
מִתְעוֹרֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לְהַחֲזִ֣יק בָּ֑ךְ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־הִסְתַּ֤רְתָּ פָנֶ֙יךָ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מִמֶּ֔נּוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתְּמוּגֵ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּיַד־עֲוֺנֵֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 7 And there is no one who calls on your name, [2]
who stirs himself up [2]
to take hold of you; [1]
 
for you have hidden your face [3]
from us [2]
 
and you have consumed us [2]
because of our iniquities. [1]
7 וְעַתָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָבִ֣ינוּ אָ֑תָּה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אֲנַ֤חְנוּ הַחֹ֙מֶר֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאַתָּ֣ה יֹצְרֵ֔נוּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדְךָ֖ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כֻּלָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 8 But now O LORD [2]
our Father are you; [1]
 
we are the clay [3]
and you are the one who formed us, [2]
 
and the work of your hand [2]
we all are. [1]
8 אַל־תִּקְצֹ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
עַד־מְאֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
וְאַל־לָעַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
תִּזְכֹּ֣ר עָוֺ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הֵ֥ן הַבֶּט־נָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַמְּךָ֥ כֻלָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

much more, [2]
 
and do not forever [2]
remember iniquity; [1]
 
Oh please see, [2]
your people we all are! [1]

הָי֣וּ מִדְבָּ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
צִיּוֹן֙ [3] Pashta
מִדְבָּ֣ר הָיָ֔תָה [2] Munach Zaqef
 
יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Tip'cha
שְׁמָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

they have become a wilderness; [1]
 
Zion, [3]
a wilderness it has become, [2]
 
Jerusalem [2]
a desolation. [1]

הָיָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִשְׂרֵ֣פַת אֵ֑שׁ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְכׇל־מַחֲמַדֵּ֖ינוּ [2] Tip'cha
הָיָ֥ה לְחׇרְבָּֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

where they praised you, [3]
our fathers, [2]
 
it has been [2]
burned with fire; [1]
 
and all our pleasant things [2]
are laid waste. [1]
11 הַעַל־אֵ֥לֶּה תִתְאַפַּ֖ק [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
תֶּחֱשֶׁ֥ה וּתְעַנֵּ֖נוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַד־מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 12 At these things will you restrain yourself [2]
O LORD; [1]
 
will you keep silent and afflict us [2]
so severely? [1]
