ישעה 64 Isaiah 64
1 כִּקְדֹ֧חַ אֵ֣שׁ הֲמָסִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
מַ֚יִם [3] Yetiv
תִּבְעֶה־אֵ֔שׁ [2] Zaqef
 
לְהוֹדִ֥יעַ שִׁמְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
לְצָרֶ֑יךָ [1] Etnachta
 
מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
גּוֹיִ֥ם יִרְגָּֽזוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 2 As when fire kindles the brushwood, and the fire causes the water to boil; Make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence! [3]
2 בַּעֲשׂוֹתְךָ֥ נוֹרָא֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א נְקַוֶּ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
יָרַ֕דְתָּ [2] ZaqefG
מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
הָרִ֥ים נָזֹֽלּוּ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 2 3 When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence. [2]
3 וּמֵעוֹלָ֥ם לֹֽא־שָׁמְע֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א הֶאֱזִ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
עַ֣יִן לֹֽא־רָאָ֗תָה [3] Revi'i
אֱלֹהִים֙ [3] Pashta
זוּלָ֣תְךָ֔ [2] Zaqef
 
יַעֲשֶׂ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִמְחַכֵּה־לֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 3 2 4 For from of old men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides you, who works for him who waits for him. [2]
4 פָּגַ֤עְתָּ אֶת־שָׂשׂ֙ [3] Pashta
וְעֹ֣שֵׂה צֶ֔דֶק [2] Zaqef
 
בִּדְרָכֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
יִזְכְּר֑וּךָ [1] Etnachta
 
הֵן־אַתָּ֤ה קָצַ֙פְתָּ֙ [3 3] Pashta
וַֽנֶּחֱטָ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
בָּהֶ֥ם עוֹלָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וְנִוָּשֵֽׁעַ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 5 You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, those who remember you in your ways. Behold, you were angry, and we sinned. We have been in sin for a long time. Shall we be saved? [3]
5 וַנְּהִ֤י כַטָּמֵא֙ [3] Pashta
כֻּלָּ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וּכְבֶ֥גֶד עִדִּ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
כׇּל־צִדְקֹתֵ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וַנָּ֤בֶל כֶּֽעָלֶה֙ [3] Pashta
כֻּלָּ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַעֲוֺנֵ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
כָּר֥וּחַ יִשָּׂאֻֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 2 6 For we have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteousness is like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away. [3]
6 וְאֵין־קוֹרֵ֣א בְשִׁמְךָ֔ [2] Zaqef
מִתְעוֹרֵ֖ר [2] Tip'cha
לְהַחֲזִ֣יק בָּ֑ךְ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־הִסְתַּ֤רְתָּ פָנֶ֙יךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta
מִמֶּ֔נּוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וַתְּמוּגֵ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
בְּיַד־עֲוֺנֵֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 7 There is no one who calls on your name, who stirs himself up to take hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities. [2]
7 וְעַתָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אָבִ֣ינוּ אָ֑תָּה [1] Etnachta
 
אֲנַ֤חְנוּ הַחֹ֙מֶר֙ [3 3] Pashta
וְאַתָּ֣ה יֹצְרֵ֔נוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָדְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
כֻּלָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 8 But now, LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay and you our potter. We all are the work of your hand. [2]
8 אַל־תִּקְצֹ֤ף יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
עַד־מְאֹ֔ד [2] Zaqef
 
וְאַל־לָעַ֖ד [2] Tip'cha
תִּזְכֹּ֣ר עָוֺ֑ן [1] Etnachta
 
הֵ֥ן הַבֶּט־נָ֖א [2] Tip'cha
עַמְּךָ֥ כֻלָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 9 Don’t be furious, LORD. Don’t remember iniquity forever. Look and see, we beg you, we are all your people. [3]
9 עָרֵ֥י קׇדְשְׁךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
הָי֣וּ מִדְבָּ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
צִיּוֹן֙ [3] Pashta
מִדְבָּ֣ר הָיָ֔תָה [2] Zaqef
 
יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Tip'cha
שְׁמָמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 10 Your holy cities have become a wilderness. Zion has become a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. [2]
10 בֵּ֧ית קׇדְשֵׁ֣נוּ וְתִפְאַרְתֵּ֗נוּ [3] Revi'i
אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִֽלְל֙וּךָ֙ [3 3] Pashta
אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ [2] Zaqef
 
הָיָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִשְׂרֵ֣פַת אֵ֑שׁ [1] Etnachta
 
וְכׇל־מַחֲמַדֵּ֖ינוּ [2] Tip'cha
הָיָ֥ה לְחׇרְבָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 3 2 2 11 Our holy and our beautiful house where our fathers praised you is burned with fire. All our pleasant places are laid waste. [3]
11 הַעַל־אֵ֥לֶּה תִתְאַפַּ֖ק [2] Tip'cha
יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
תֶּחֱשֶׁ֥ה וּתְעַנֵּ֖נוּ [2] Tip'cha
עַד־מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 12 Will you hold yourself back for these things, LORD? Will you keep silent and punish us very severely? ¶ [2]
