לְל֣וֹא שָׁאָ֔לוּ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
נִמְצֵ֖אתִי [2] Tip'cha
לְלֹ֣א בִקְשֻׁ֑נִי [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ [3] Pashta
הִנֵּ֣נִי הִנֵּ֔נִי [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֶל־גּ֖וֹי [2] Tip'cha
לֹֽא־קֹרָ֥א בִשְׁמִֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

I have been found [2]
by those who didn’t seek me; [1]
 
I said, [3]
‘Here I am, here I am,’ [2]
 
to a nation [2]

מַחְשְׁבֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

to a rebellious people; [1]
 
who walk [3]
in a way that is not good, [2]
 
following [2]
their own thoughts, [1]

וּבַנְּצוּרִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יָלִ֑ינוּ [1] Etnachta
 
הָאֹֽכְלִים֙ [3] Pashta
בְּשַׂ֣ר הַחֲזִ֔יר [2] Munach Zaqef

אַל־תִּגַּשׁ־בִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
כִּ֣י קְדַשְׁתִּ֑יךָ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
אֵ֚לֶּה [3] Yetiv
עָשָׁ֣ן בְּאַפִּ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֵ֥שׁ יֹקֶ֖דֶת [2] Merkha Tip'cha
כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq

‘Keep to yourself, [2]
 
don’t come near to me, [2]
for I am holier than you;’ [1]

are smoke in my nostrils, [2]
 
a fire that burns [2]

עַל־חֵיקָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

I will not keep silence, [3]
but I will repay, [2]

וְעַל־הַגְּבָע֖וֹת [2] Tip'cha

וּמַדֹּתִ֧י פְעֻלָּתָ֛ם [3] Darga Tevir
רִאשֹׁנָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha

“who have burned incense [3]
on the mountains, [2]
 
and on the hills [2]
they scorned me; [1]
 
so I will measure their deeds, [3]

בָּֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל [2] Zaqef
 
וְאָמַר֙ [3] Pashta
אַל־תַּשְׁחִיתֵ֔הוּ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֥י בְרָכָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
כֵּ֤ן אֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
לְמַ֣עַן עֲבָדַ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לְבִלְתִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
הַֽשְׁחִ֥ית הַכֹּֽל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

“Just as new wine is found [3]
in a cluster of grapes, [2]
 
and someone says, [3]
‘Don’t destroy it, [2]
 
for a blessing [2]

for the sake of my servants, [2]
 
to not [2]
destroy everyone. [1]
9 וְהוֹצֵאתִ֤י מִֽיַּעֲקֹב֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta

יוֹרֵ֣שׁ הָרָ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta

וַעֲבָדַ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יִשְׁכְּנוּ־שָֽׁמָּה׃ [1] Silluq

offspring, [2]
 
and from Judah, [2]
the heir of my mountains; [1]
 
and my chosen ones will inherit it, [2]
and my servants, [2]
they will dwell there. [1]

לִנְוֵה־צֹ֔אן [2] Zaqef
 
וְעֵ֥מֶק עָכ֖וֹר [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לְרֵ֣בֶץ בָּקָ֑ר [1] Munach Etnachta
 
לְעַמִּ֖י [2] Tip'cha
אֲשֶׁ֥ר דְּרָשֽׁוּנִי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

a pasture for flocks, [2]
 
and the valley of Achor [2]
a resting place for herds; [1]
 
for my people [2]
who have sought me. [1]

הַשְּׁכֵחִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הַ֣ר קׇדְשִׁ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta
 
הַעֹרְכִ֤ים לַגַּד֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
שֻׁלְחָ֔ן [2] Zaqef
 
וְהַֽמְמַלְאִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
לַמְנִ֥י מִמְסָֽךְ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

my holy mountain; [1]
 
who prepare for Fortune [3]

דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי [2] Tip'cha
וְלֹ֣א שְׁמַעְתֶּ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַתַּעֲשׂ֤וּ הָרַע֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
בְּעֵינַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וּבַאֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־חָפַ֖צְתִּי [2] Merkha Tip'cha
בְּחַרְתֶּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

and what I did not delight in, [2]

“Behold, my servants will eat, [3]
but you, you will be hungry, [2]
 
behold my servants, [3]
they will drink, [2]

they will rejoice, [2]
but you, you will be put to shame. [1]

מִטּ֣וּב לֵ֑ב [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְאַתֶּ֤ם תִּצְעֲקוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
מִכְּאֵ֣ב לֵ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּמִשֵּׁ֥בֶר ר֖וּחַ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
תְּיֵלִֽילוּ׃ [1] Silluq

they will sing for joy [2]
from gladness of heart; [1]
 
but you, you will cry out [3]
from pain of heart, [2]
 
and from brokenness of spirit [2]
you will wail. [1]
15 וְהִנַּחְתֶּ֨ם שִׁמְכֶ֤ם לִשְׁבוּעָה֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לִבְחִירַ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
וֶהֱמִֽיתְךָ֖ [2] Tip'cha
אֲדֹנָ֣י יֱהֹוִ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלַעֲבָדָ֥יו יִקְרָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
שֵׁ֥ם אַחֵֽר׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

to my chosen ones, [2]
 
and he will put you to death, [2]
the Lord GOD; [1]
 
but to his servants he will give [2]
another name, [1]

יִשָּׁבַ֖ע [2] Tip'cha
בֵּאלֹהֵ֣י אָמֵ֑ן [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י נִשְׁכְּח֗וּ [3] Munach Revi'a
הַצָּרוֹת֙ [3] Pashta
הָרִ֣אשֹׁנ֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְכִ֥י נִסְתְּר֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
מֵֽעֵינָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

in the land, [3]
 
he will bless himself [3]
by the God of truth, [2]
 
and the one who swears in the land, [2]
he will swear [2]
by the God of truth; [1]
 
because they will be forgotten, [3]
the troubles, [3]
the former, [2]
 
and because they will be hidden [2]
from my sight. [1]

שָׁמַ֥יִם חֲדָשִׁ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וָאָ֣רֶץ חֲדָשָׁ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֹ֤א תִזָּכַ֙רְנָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
הָרִ֣אשֹׁנ֔וֹת [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֥א תַעֲלֶ֖ינָה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַל־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq

new heavens [2]
and a new earth; [1]
 
and they will not be remembered, [3]
the former things, [2]
 
and they will not come [2]
to mind. [1]

וְעַמָּ֥הּ מָשֽׂוֹשׂ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

I am creating; [1]
 
for behold I am creating Jerusalem [3]
a rejoicing [2]
and her people a joy. [1]
19 וְגַלְתִּ֥י בִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְשַׂשְׂתִּ֣י בְעַמִּ֑י [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְלֹא־יִשָּׁמַ֥ע בָּהּ֙ [3] Merkha Pashta
ע֔וֹד [2] Zaqef
 
ק֥וֹל בְּכִ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְק֥וֹל זְעָקָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 3 2 19 Then I will rejoice in Jerusalem [2]
and I will be glad in my people; [1]
 
and it will not be heard in her [3]
anymore, [2]
 
a voice of weeping [2]
or a voice of distress. [1]
20 לֹא־יִהְיֶ֨ה מִשָּׁ֜ם [4] Qadma Geresh

ע֤וּל יָמִים֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְזָקֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יְמַלֵּ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אֶת־יָמָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י הַנַּ֗עַר [3] Munach Revi'a
בֶּן־מֵאָ֤ה שָׁנָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יָמ֔וּת [2] Zaqef
 
וְהַ֣חוֹטֶ֔א [2] Munach Zaqef
בֶּן־מֵאָ֥ה שָׁנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְקֻלָּֽל׃ [1] Silluq

any longer [3]
 
an infant of (just) days [3]
or the elderly [2]
 
who has not completed [2]
his days; [1]
 
for the young man, [3]
one hundred years old [3]
he will die, [2]
 
and one who falls short [2]
of one hundred years old, [2]
he will be regarded as cursed. [1]
21 וּבָנ֥וּ בָתִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְיָשָׁ֑בוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וְנָטְע֣וּ כְרָמִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
וְאָכְל֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
פִּרְיָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 21 And they will build houses [2]
and they will inhabit (them); [1]
 
and they will plant vineyards [2]
and they will eat [2]
their fruit. [1]
22 לֹ֤א יִבְנוּ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
וְאַחֵ֣ר יֵשֵׁ֔ב [2] Munach Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א יִטְּע֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וְאַחֵ֣ר יֹאכֵ֑ל [1] Munach Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־כִימֵ֤י הָעֵץ֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
יְמֵ֣י עַמִּ֔י [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וּמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יְדֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
יְבַלּ֥וּ בְחִירָֽי׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and another inhabit, [2]
 
they will not plant [2]
and another eat; [1]
 
for like the days of a tree [3]
will be the days of my people, [2]
 
and of the work of their hands [2]
my chosen ones will make full use. [1]

לָרִ֔יק [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֥א יֵלְד֖וּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לַבֶּהָלָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֣י זֶ֜רַע [4] Munach Geresh
בְּרוּכֵ֤י יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta
הֵ֔מָּה [2] Zaqef
 
וְצֶאֱצָאֵיהֶ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אִתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq

in vain [2]
 
and they will not bear children [2]
for calamity; [1]
 
for the offspring [4]
of the blessed of the LORD [3]
they will be, [2]
 
and their descendants [2]
with them. [1]
24 וְהָיָ֥ה טֶֽרֶם־יִקְרָ֖אוּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַאֲנִ֣י אֶעֱנֶ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
ע֛וֹד [3] Tevir
הֵ֥ם מְדַבְּרִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
וַאֲנִ֥י אֶשְׁמָֽע׃ [1] Merkha Silluq
1 2 2 3 24 And it will be that before they call [2]
I, I will answer; [1]
 
while still [3]
they are speaking [2]
I, I will hear. [1]
25 זְאֵ֨ב וְטָלֶ֜ה [4] Qadma Geresh
יִרְע֣וּ כְאֶחָ֗ד [3] Munach Revi'a
 
וְאַרְיֵה֙ [3] Pashta
כַּבָּקָ֣ר יֹאכַל־תֶּ֔בֶן [2] Munach Zaqef
 
וְנָחָ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
עָפָ֣ר לַחְמ֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta
 
לֹֽא־יָרֵ֧עוּ וְלֹֽא־יַשְׁחִ֛יתוּ [3] Darga Tevir
בְּכׇל־הַ֥ר קׇדְשִׁ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha
אָמַ֥ר יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

and the lion, [3]
like the ox it will eat straw, [2]
 
and a snake, [2]
dust will be its food; [1]
 
they will not do harm and they will not destroy [3]
