1 רוּחִ֣י חֻ֭בָּלָה [3] Dechi
יָמַ֥י נִזְעָ֗כוּ [3/2] Revi'i
קְבָרִ֥ים לִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 1 “My spirit is broken, [3]
my days are extinguished, [3/2]
for me is the grave. [1]
2 אִם־לֹ֣א הֲ֭תֻלִים [3] Dechi
עִמָּדִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְהַמְּרוֹתָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּלַ֥ן עֵינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Surely mockers [3]
are with me; [2]
 
and on their provocation [2]
my eye dwells. [1]
3 שִֽׂימָה־נָּ֭א [3] Dechi
עׇרְבֵ֣נִי עִמָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֥י ה֝֗וּא [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְיָדִ֥י יִתָּקֵֽעַ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 “Make now [3]
a pledge for me with Yourself; [2]
 
who else [2]
would strike hands with me? [1]
4 כִּֽי־לִ֭בָּם [3] Dechi
צָפַ֣נְתָּ מִּשָּׂ֑כֶל [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־כֵּ֝֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א תְרֹמֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 For their heart [3]
You have kept from understanding; [2]
 
therefore [2]
You will not exalt them. [1]
5 לְ֭חֵלֶק [3] Dechi
יַגִּ֣יד רֵעִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְעֵינֵ֖י בָנָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
תִּכְלֶֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 For profit [3]
he denounces friends; [2]
 
and the eyes of his children, [2]
they will fail. [1]
6 וְֽ֭הִצִּיגַנִי [3] Dechi
לִמְשֹׁ֣ל עַמִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְתֹ֖פֶת לְפָנִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
אֶהְיֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 “And he has made me [3]
a byword to people; [2]
 
and one whose face is spit at [2]
am I. [1]
7 וַתֵּ֣כַהּ מִכַּ֣עַשׂ [3] VDechi
עֵינִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וִיצֻרַ֖י כַּצֵּ֣ל [2] VRevMug
כֻּלָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 It has grown dim from grief, [3]
my eye; [2]
 
and my limbs are like a shadow, [2]
all of them. [1]
8 יָשֹׁ֣מּוּ יְשָׁרִ֣ים [3] VDechi
עַל־זֹ֑את [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝נָקִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־חָנֵ֥ף יִתְעֹרָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 The upright are appalled [3]
at this; [2]
 
and the innocent, [2]
against the godless are stirred up. [1]
9 וְיֹאחֵ֣ז צַדִּ֣יק [3] VDechi
דַּרְכּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽטְהׇר־יָ֝דַ֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יֹסִ֥יף אֹֽמֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 But the righteous one holds to [3]
his way; [2]
 
and the one with clean hands, [2]
he grows stronger. [1]
10 וְֽאוּלָ֗ם [3] Revi'i
כֻּלָּ֣ם תָּ֭שֻׁבוּ [3] Dechi
וּבֹ֣אוּ נָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־אֶמְצָ֖א בָכֶ֣ם [2] VRevMug
חָכָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 10 But [3]
turn all of you [3]
and come now; [2]
 
and I will not find among you [2]
one who is wise. [1]
11 יָמַ֣י עָ֭בְרוּ [3] Dechi
זִמֹּתַ֣י נִתְּק֑וּ [2] Etnachta
 
מ֖וֹרָשֵׁ֣י [2] VRevMug
לְבָבִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 My days have passed, [3]
my plans are torn apart; [2]
 
yet the wishes [2]
of my heart, [1]
12 לַ֭יְלָה [3] Dechi
לְי֣וֹם יָשִׂ֑ימוּ [2] Etnachta
 
א֝֗וֹר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קָר֥וֹב מִפְּנֵי־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 night [3]
they turn into day; [2]
 
light [2]
is near in the face of darkness. [1]
13 אִם־אֲ֭קַוֶּה [3] Dechi
שְׁא֣וֹל בֵּיתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
רִפַּ֥דְתִּי יְצוּעָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 If I hope for [3]
Sheol as my home; [2]
 
in darkness [2]
I make my bed, [1]
14 לַשַּׁ֣חַת קָ֭רָאתִי [3] Dechi
אָ֣בִי אָ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
 
אִמִּ֥י וַ֝אֲחֹתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לָרִמָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 I call out to the pit, [3]
‘You are my father,’ [2]
 
‘My mother,’ or ‘My sister’ [2]
to the worm - [1]
15 וְ֭אַיֵּה [3] Dechi
אֵפ֣וֹ תִקְוָתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝תִקְוָתִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִ֣י יְשׁוּרֶֽנָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 where [3]
then is my hope; [2]
 
and my hope, [2]
who will see it? [1]
16 בַּדֵּ֣י שְׁאֹ֣ל [3] VDechi
תֵּרַ֑דְנָה [2] Etnachta
 
אִם־יַ֖חַד עַל־עָפָ֣ר [2] VRevMug
נָֽחַת׃ [1] Silluq
