| איוב 23 | Job 23 | |||
[1] Silluq |
1 Then Job answered [3/2] and he said, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
2 “Even today [3] my complaint is rebellious; [2] it is heavy because of my groaning. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
3 Oh that I knew [3] where I might find him; [2] to his dwelling! [1] |
[1] Silluq |
4 Let me lay out before him [3] a case; [2] let me fill with arguments. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
5 I want to know [3] the words which he would answer me; [2] what he would say to me. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
6 With great power [3] would he contend with me? [2] he would pay attention to me. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
7 There [3] the upright [3] would reason with him; [2] from my judge. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
8 “Behold, I go forward/east [3] but he is not; [2] but I don't perceive Him, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
9 on the left/north when he works [3] I don't see; [2] and I don't see. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
10 But he knows [3] the way that I take; [2] like gold I will come forth. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
11 To his steps [3] my foot has held fast; [2] and I have not turned aside, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
12 - the commandment of his lips [3] and I have not departed; [2] I have treasured the words of his mouth. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
13 But he stands alone, [3] and who can turn him back? [2] that he has done. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
14 For [3] he completes that which is appointed for me; [2] are with him. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
15 Therefore [3] I am terrified at his presence; [2] and I am in dread of him. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
16 For God, [3] he has made my heart faint; [2] he has terrified me. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
17 For I have not been cut off [3] from facing the darkness; [2] is covered by thick darkness. [1] |
