1 וַיַּ֥עַן אִיּ֗וֹב [3/2] Revi'i
וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 1 Then Job answered [3/2]
and he said, [1]
2 מֶה־עָזַ֥רְתָּ לְלֹא־כֹ֑חַ [2] Etnachta
 
ה֝וֹשַׁ֗עְתָּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
זְר֣וֹעַ לֹא־עֹֽז׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 2 How have you helped the powerless; [2]
 
have you saved [2]
the arm with no strength! [1]
3 מַה־יָּ֭עַצְתָּ [3] Dechi
לְלֹ֣א חׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝תֻשִׁיָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לָרֹ֥ב הוֹדָֽעְתָּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 How have you counseled [3]
the one without wisdom; [2]
 
and sound knowledge [2]
in abundance you have made known! [1]
4 אֶת־מִ֭י [3] Dechi
הִגַּ֣דְתָּ מִלִּ֑ין [2] Etnachta
 
וְנִשְׁמַת־מִ֝֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָצְאָ֥ה מִמֶּֽךָּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 With whom [3]
have you declared words; [2]
 
and whose spirit [2]
has come forth from you? [1]
5 הָרְפָאִ֥ים יְחוֹלָ֑לוּ [2] Etnachta
 
מִתַּ֥חַת מַ֝֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְשֹׁכְנֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 5 The departed spirits tremble; [2]
 
from beneath the waters [2]
and those which dwell in them. [1]
6 עָר֣וֹם שְׁא֣וֹל [3] VDechi
נֶגְדּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְאֵ֥ין כְּ֝ס֗וּת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לָאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Naked is Sheol [3]
before Him; [2]
 
and no covering [2]
has Abaddon. [1]
7 נֹטֶ֣ה צָפ֣וֹן [3] VDechi
עַל־תֹּ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
תֹּ֥לֶה אֶ֝֗רֶץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־בְּלִי־מָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 He stretches out the north [3]
over empty space; [2]
 
hanging the earth [2]
on nothing at all, [1]
8 צֹרֵֽר־מַ֥יִם בְּעָבָ֑יו [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־נִבְקַ֖ע עָנָ֣ן [2] VRevMug
תַּחְתָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 8 binding up the waters in his clouds, [2]
 
yet the cloud does not burst [2]
under them, [1]
9 מְאַחֵ֥ז פְּנֵֽי־כִסֵּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
פַּרְשֵׁ֖ז עָלָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
עֲנָנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 9 covering the face of the full moon; [2]
 
he spreads over it [2]
his cloud. [1]
10 חֹֽק־חָ֭ג [3] Dechi
עַל־פְּנֵי־מָ֑יִם [2] Etnachta
 
עַד־תַּכְלִ֖ית א֣וֹר [2] VRevMug
עִם־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 A circle he has drawn [3]
on the face of the waters; [2]
 
to the boundary of light [2]
with darkness. [1]
11 עַמּוּדֵ֣י שָׁמַ֣יִם [3] VDechi
יְרוֹפָ֑פוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝יִתְמְה֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִגַּעֲרָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 The pillars of heaven, [3]
they tremble; [2]
 
and they are astonished [2]
at his rebuke. [1]
12 בְּ֭כֹחוֹ [3] Dechi
רָגַ֣ע הַיָּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
*ובתובנתו **וּ֝בִתְבוּנָת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מָ֣חַץ רָֽהַב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 By his power [3]
he calms the sea; [2]
 
and by his understanding [2]
he shatters Rahab. [1]
13 בְּ֭רוּחוֹ [3] Dechi
שָׁמַ֣יִם שִׁפְרָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
חֹלְלָ֥ה יָ֝ד֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נָחָ֥שׁ בָּרִֽחַ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 By his Spirit [3]
the heavens are made clear; [2]
 
His hand has pierced [2]
the fleeing serpent. [1]
14 הֶן־אֵ֤לֶּה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
קְצ֬וֹת דְּרָכָ֗ו [3] Revi'i
 
וּמַה־שֵּׁ֣מֶץ דָּ֭בָר [3] Dechi
נִשְׁמַע־בּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְרַ֥עַם גְּ֝בוּרֹתָ֗ו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִ֣י יִתְבּוֹנָֽן׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 4 3 2 14 Behold, these [4]
are but glimpses of his ways, [3]
 
and how faint a whisper of a word [3]
we hear in it; [2]
 
but the thunder of his power, [2]
who can understand?” [1]
