2 חַי־אֵ֭ל [3] Dechi
הֵסִ֣יר מִשְׁפָּטִ֑י [2] Etnachta

וְ֝שַׁדַּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הֵמַ֥ר נַפְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 As God lives [3]
who has taken away my right; [2]

and the Almighty [2]
who has made my soul bitter, [1]
3 כִּי־כׇל־ע֣וֹד נִשְׁמָתִ֣י [3] VDechi
בִ֑י [2] Etnachta

וְר֖וּחַ אֱל֣וֹהַּ [2] VRevMug
בְּאַפִּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 for as long as my breath still [3]
is in me; [2]

and the spirit of God [2]
in my nostrils, [1]
4 אִם־תְּדַבֵּ֣רְנָה שְׂפָתַ֣י [3] VDechi
עַוְלָ֑ה [2] Etnachta

וּ֝לְשׁוֹנִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אִם־יֶהְגֶּ֥ה רְמִיָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 my lips will not speak [3]

I will not set aside my integrity [2]
from me. [1]
6 בְּצִדְקָתִ֣י הֶ֭חֱזַקְתִּי [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א אַרְפֶּ֑הָ [2] Etnachta

לֹא־יֶחֱרַ֥ף לְ֝בָבִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִיָּמָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 To my righteousness I have laid hold, [3]
and I will not let it go; [2]

my heart will not reproach me [2]
for any of my days. [1]
7 יְהִ֣י כְ֭רָשָׁע [3] Dechi
אֹ֣יְבִ֑י [2] Etnachta

וּמִתְקוֹמְמִ֥י כְעַוָּֽל׃ [1] Silluq

נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 For what is the hope of the godless [3]
when he is cut off; [2]

when God takes away [2]
his soul? [1]
9 הֲֽ֭צַעֲקָתוֹ [3] Dechi
יִשְׁמַ֥ע ׀ אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

כִּֽי־תָב֖וֹא עָלָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
צָרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 His cry [3]
will God hear; [2]

when it comes upon him, [2]
trouble? [1]
10 אִם־עַל־שַׁדַּ֥י יִתְעַנָּ֑ג [2] Etnachta

יִקְרָ֖א אֱל֣וֹהַּ [2] VRevMug

11 אוֹרֶ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֣ם [3] VDechi
בְּיַד־אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

אֲשֶׁ֥ר עִם־שַׁ֝דַּ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א אֲכַחֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 I will teach you [3]

חֲזִיתֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וְלָמָּה־זֶּ֝֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הֶ֣בֶל תֶּהְבָּֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Behold you, all of you, [3]

13 זֶ֤ה ׀ [4/3] Mahpakh Legarmeh
חֵלֶק־אָדָ֖ם רָשָׁ֥ע ׀ עִם־אֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta

וְֽנַחֲלַ֥ת עָ֝רִיצִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִשַּׁדַּ֥י יִקָּֽחוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 This [4/3]
is the portion of a wicked man with God; [2]

and the inheritance of the ruthless [2]
which from the Almighty they will receive. [1]
14 אִם־יִרְבּ֣וּ בָנָ֣יו [3] VDechi
לְמוֹ־חָ֑רֶב [2] Etnachta

וְ֝צֶאֱצָאָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יִשְׂבְּעוּ־לָֽחֶם׃ [1] Silluq

they will not weep. [1]
16 אִם־יִצְבֹּ֣ר כֶּעָפָ֣ר [3] VDechi
כָּ֑סֶף [2] Etnachta

וְ֝כַחֹ֗מֶר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יָכִ֥ין מַלְבּֽוּשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 Though he heaps up as the dust, [3]
silver; [2]

and as the clay [2]
he prepares clothing, [1]
17 יָ֭כִין [3] Dechi
וְצַדִּ֣יק יִלְבָּ֑שׁ [2] Etnachta

וְ֝כֶ֗סֶף [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נָקִ֥י יַחֲלֹֽק׃ [1] Silluq

18 בָּנָ֣ה כָעָ֣שׁ [3] VDechi
בֵּית֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

וּ֝כְסֻכָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash

and like a hut [2]
which a watchman has made. [1]
19 עָשִׁ֣יר יִ֭שְׁכַּב [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א יֵאָסֵ֑ף [2] Etnachta

and it is gone. [1]
20 תַּשִּׂיגֵ֣הוּ כַ֭מַּיִם [3] Dechi
בַּלָּה֑וֹת [2] Etnachta

לַ֝֗יְלָה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
גְּנָבַ֥תּוּ סוּפָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

21 יִשָּׂאֵ֣הוּ קָדִ֣ים [3] VDechi
וְיֵלַ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta

וִ֝ישָׂעֲרֵ֗הוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִמְּקֹמֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

22 וְיַשְׁלֵ֣ךְ עָ֭לָיו [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א יַחְמֹ֑ל [2] Etnachta

מִ֝יָּד֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בָּר֥וֹחַ יִבְרָֽח׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 And it hurls itself against him [3]
and it will not show pity; [2]

from its hand [2]
headlong he will flee. [1]
23 יִשְׂפֹּ֣ק עָלֵ֣ימוֹ [3] VDechi
כַפֵּ֑ימוֹ [2] Etnachta

וְיִשְׁרֹ֥ק עָ֝לָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִמְּקֹמֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 It claps at him [3]
its hands; [2]

and hisses at him [2]
from his place. [1]
