איוב 32 Job 32
1 וַֽיִּשְׁבְּת֡וּ [4] Pazer
שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָ֭אֵלֶּה [3] Dechi
מֵעֲנ֣וֹת אֶת־אִיּ֑וֹב [2] Etnachta

כִּ֤י ה֖וּא צַדִּ֣יק [2] VRevMug
בְּעֵינָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
פ
2 3 4 2 1 So they ceased, [4]
these three men, [3]
from answering Job; [2]

for he was righteous [2]
in his own eyes. [1]
2 וַיִּ֤חַר אַ֨ף ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
אֱלִיה֣וּא בֶן־בַּרַכְאֵ֣ל [3] VDechi

הַבּוּזִי֮ [3] Sinnor
מִמִּשְׁפַּ֢חַ֫ת רָ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored

בְּ֭אִיּוֹב [3] Dechi
חָרָ֣ה אַפּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

עַֽל־צַדְּק֥וֹ נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵאֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 3 2 2 Then the wrath was kindled [4]
of Elihu the son of Barachel, [3]

the Buzite [3]
of the family of Ram. [2]

Against Job [3]
his wrath was kindled, [2]

because he justified himself [2]
rather than God. [1]
3 וּבִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת רֵעָיו֮ [3] Sinnor
חָרָ֢ה אַ֫פּ֥וֹ [2] Ole Veyored

עַ֤ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־מָצְא֣וּ [3] VDechi

2 3 2 3 2 3 And against his three friends [3]
his wrath was kindled; [2]

because they had not found [3]
an answer, [2]

and yet had condemned [2]
Job. [1]

2 3 3 2 4 Now Elihu, [3]
he had held back from Job [3]
in words; [2]

because they were older than he [2]
of days. [1]
5 וַיַּ֤רְא אֱלִיה֗וּא [3] Revi'i

2 3 3 3 5 When Elihu saw [3]
that there was no answer [3]
in the mouth [3]
of the three men, [3/2]

his wrath was kindled. [1]
6 וַיַּ֤עַן ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh

2 3 4 2 3 2 2 6 And he answered, [4]
Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, [3]
and he said, [2]

“Young am I of days, [3]
and you are old, [2]

therefore I was timid and I was afraid [2]
from declaring my knowledge [2]
to you. [1]
7 אָ֭מַרְתִּי [3] Dechi

וְרֹ֥ב שָׁ֝נִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash

2 3 2 7 I said, [3]
‘Let days speak; [2]

2 3 2 8 But [3]
it is the spirit in a man; [2]

and the breath of the Almighty [2]
which gives them understanding. [1]
9 לֹא־רַבִּ֥ים יֶחְכָּ֑מוּ [2] Etnachta

וּ֝זְקֵנִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash

2 2 9 It's not just the great who are wise; [2]

or the old [2]

כִּ֥י עָ֝מְד֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹא־עָ֥נוּ עֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 And shall I wait [3]
because they don’t speak; [2]

because they stand there [2]
and answer no more? [1]
17 אַעֲנֶ֣ה אַף־אֲנִ֣י [3] VDechi

2 3 2 17 I will answer, I too [3]

I will declare what I know, [2]

2 3 2 19 Behold, inside me [3]
is like wine which has no vent; [2]

like new wineskins [2]
it is ready to burst. [1]
20 אֲדַבְּרָ֥ה וְיִֽרְוַֽח־לִ֑י [2] Etnachta

אֶפְתַּ֖ח שְׂפָתַ֣י [2] VRevMug

2 2 20 Let me speak that I may be relieved; [2]

let me open my lips [2]

21 אַל־נָ֭א [3] Dechi
אֶשָּׂ֣א פְנֵי־אִ֑ישׁ [2] Etnachta

וְאֶל־אָ֝דָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א אֲכַנֶּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 Please don’t [3]
let me show partiality to anyone; [2]

and to anyone [2]
will I not use flattery. [1]
22 כִּ֤י לֹ֣א יָדַ֣עְתִּי [3] VDechi

2 3 2 22 For I don’t know [3]
how to flatter; [2]

or else [2]
my Maker would soon carry me away. [1]
