איוב 32 | Job 32 | |||
1 So they ceased, [4] these three men, [3] from answering Job; [2] in his own eyes. [1] ¶ |
2 Then the wrath was kindled [4] of Elihu the son of Barachel, [3] of the family of Ram. [2] his wrath was kindled, [2] rather than God. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
3 And against his three friends [3] his wrath was kindled; [2] an answer, [2] Job. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
4 Now Elihu, [3] he had held back from Job [3] in words; [2] of days. [1] |
5 וַיַּ֤רְא אֱלִיה֗וּא [3] Revi'i כִּ֘י אֵ֤ין מַֽעֲנֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i בְּ֭פִי [3] Dechi שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים [3/2] Revi'i פ |
5 When Elihu saw [3] that there was no answer [3] in the mouth [3] of the three men, [3/2] ¶ |
6 And he answered, [4] Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, [3] and he said, [2] and you are old, [2] from declaring my knowledge [2] to you. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
7 I said, [3] ‘Let days speak; [2] let them teach wisdom.’ [1] |
[1] Silluq |
8 But [3] it is the spirit in a man; [2] which gives them understanding. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
9 It's not just the great who are wise; [2] who understand justice. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
10 Therefore I say, [3] ‘Listen to me; [2] I also.’ [1] |
[2] Etnachta |
11 “Behold I waited [4] for your words, [3] to your reasoning; [2] |
12 וְעָ֥דֵיכֶ֗ם [3] Revi'i אֶתְבּ֫וֹנָ֥ן [2] Ole Veyored מוֹכִ֑יחַ [2] Etnachta מִכֶּֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
12 And to you [3] I showed myself attentive; [2] who refuted (him), [2] among you. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
13 Beware lest you say, [3] ‘We have found wisdom; [2] not man,’ [1] |
[1] Silluq |
14 for not against me has he directed [3] words; [2] I will not answer him. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
15 “They are dismayed. [3] They no longer answer. [2] words. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
16 And shall I wait [3] because they don’t speak; [2] and answer no more? [1] |
[1] Silluq |
17 I will answer, I too [3] my part; [2] I too. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 For [3] I am full of words; [2] the spirit within me. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
19 Behold, inside me [3] is like wine which has no vent; [2] it is ready to burst. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
20 Let me speak that I may be relieved; [2] that I may answer. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
21 Please don’t [3] let me show partiality to anyone; [2] will I not use flattery. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
22 For I don’t know [3] how to flatter; [2] my Maker would soon carry me away. [1] |
