אֶשְׁכְּחָ֣ה שִׂיחִ֑י [2] Etnachta

אֶעֶזְבָ֖ה פָנַ֣י [2] VRevMug
וְאַבְלִֽיגָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 If I say, [3]

and I will be cheerful,’ [1]
28 יָגֹ֥רְתִּי כׇל־עַצְּבֹתָ֑י [2] Etnachta

יָ֝דַ֗עְתִּי [2] Revi'i Mugrash

29 אָנֹכִ֥י אֶרְשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta

לָמָּה־זֶּ֝֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הֶ֣בֶל אִיגָֽע׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 29 I, I will be condemned; [2]

so why [2]
in vain will I labor? [1]
30 אִם־הִתְרָחַ֥צְתִּי *במו **בְמֵי־שָׁ֑לֶג [2] Etnachta

וַ֝הֲזִכּ֗וֹתִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּבֹ֣ר כַּפָּֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 30 If I washed myself with snow; [2]

and I cleansed [2]

31 אָ֭ז [3] Dechi
בַּשַּׁ֣חַת תִּטְבְּלֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta

וְ֝תִעֲב֗וּנִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שַׂלְמוֹתָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 yet [3]
in the pit you will dip me; [2]

and they will abhor me, [2]
my own clothes. [1]
32 כִּֽי־לֹא־אִ֣ישׁ כָּמ֣וֹנִי [3] VDechi
אֶעֱנֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta

נָב֥וֹא יַ֝חְדָּ֗ו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 32 For he is not a man like me, [3]
(that) I should answer him; [2]

(that) we should come together [2]
in judgment. [1]
33 לֹ֣א יֵשׁ־בֵּינֵ֣ינוּ [3] VDechi
מוֹכִ֑יחַ [2] Etnachta

יָשֵׁ֖ת יָד֣וֹ [2] VRevMug
עַל־שְׁנֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 33 There is not between us [3]
a mediator; [2]

(that) he might lay his hand [2]
on us both. [1]
34 יָסֵ֣ר מֵעָלַ֣י [3] VDechi
שִׁבְט֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

וְ֝אֵמָת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַֽל־תְּבַעֲתַֽנִּי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 34 Let him take away from me [3]
his rod; [2]

and his dread [2]
let it not terrify me, [1]
35 אֲֽ֭דַבְּרָה [3] Dechi
וְלֹ֣א אִירָאֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta

כִּ֥י לֹא־כֵ֥ן אָ֝נֹכִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עִמָּדִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 35 then I would speak [3]
and (I) would not fear him; [2]

but not like that am I [2]
in myself. [1]
