1 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהֹוָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֱמֹ֥ר אֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֑ן [1] Etnachta
 
וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
לְנֶ֥פֶשׁ לֹֽא־יִטַּמָּ֖א [2] Tip'cha
בְּעַמָּֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

to Moses, [2]
 
“Speak to the priests, [2]
the sons of Aaron; [1]
 
and say to them, [2]
‘For a dead person he shall not make himself unclean [2]
among his kinspeople, [1]
2 כִּ֚י [3] Yetiv
אִם־לִשְׁאֵר֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
הַקָּרֹ֖ב [2] Tip'cha
אֵלָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
לְאִמּ֣וֹ וּלְאָבִ֔יו [2] Zaqef
וְלִבְנ֥וֹ וּלְבִתּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
וּלְאָחִֽיו׃ [1] Silluq

3 וְלַאֲחֹת֤וֹ הַבְּתוּלָה֙ [3] Pashta
הַקְּרוֹבָ֣ה אֵלָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־הָיְתָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לְאִ֑ישׁ [1] Etnachta
 
לָ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
יִטַּמָּֽא׃ [1] Silluq

who is near to him, [2]
 
who has not belonged [2]
to a husband; [1]
 
for her [2]
he may make himself unclean. [1]
4 לֹ֥א יִטַּמָּ֖א [2] Tip'cha
בַּ֣עַל בְּעַמָּ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
לְהֵ֖חַלּֽוֹ׃ [2 1] Silluq
1 2 4 He shall not make himself unclean, [2]
a husband among his kinspeople, [1]
 
to profane himself. [2 1]
5 לֹֽא־*יקרחה **יִקְרְח֤וּ קׇרְחָה֙ [3] Pashta
בְּרֹאשָׁ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וּפְאַ֥ת זְקָנָ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יְגַלֵּ֑חוּ [1] Etnachta
 
וּבִ֨בְשָׂרָ֔ם [2] Zaqef
לֹ֥א יִשְׂרְט֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
שָׂרָֽטֶת׃ [1] Silluq

on their heads, [2]
 
and the side of their beards [2]
they shall not shave; [1]
 
and in their flesh [2]
they shall not make [2]
cuts. [1]
6 קְדֹשִׁ֤ים יִהְיוּ֙ [3] Pashta
לֵאלֹ֣הֵיהֶ֔ם [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֣א יְחַלְּל֔וּ [2] Zaqef
שֵׁ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם [1] Etnachta
 
כִּי֩ אֶת־אִשֵּׁ֨י יְהֹוָ֜ה [4] Geresh
לֶ֧חֶם אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֛ם [3] Tevir
הֵ֥ם מַקְרִיבִ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
וְהָ֥יוּ קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq

and they will not profane [2]
the name [2]
of their God; [1]
 
for the fire offerings of the LORD, [4]
the food of their God, [3]
they are offering, [2]
so they shall be a holy thing. [1]
7 אִשָּׁ֨ה זֹנָ֤ה וַחֲלָלָה֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א יִקָּ֔חוּ [2] Zaqef
 
וְאִשָּׁ֛ה [3] Tevir
גְּרוּשָׁ֥ה מֵאִישָׁ֖הּ [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יִקָּ֑חוּ [1] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־קָדֹ֥שׁ ה֖וּא [2] Tip'cha
לֵאלֹהָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 7 “ ‘They shall not marry a woman who is a prostitute, or profane. A priest shall not marry a woman divorced from her husband; for he is holy to his God. [3]
8 וְקִ֨דַּשְׁתּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
כִּֽי־אֶת־לֶ֥חֶם אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ [2] Tip'cha
ה֣וּא מַקְרִ֑יב [1] Etnachta
 
קָדֹשׁ֙ [3] Pashta
יִֽהְיֶה־לָּ֔ךְ [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֣י קָד֔וֹשׁ [2] Zaqef
אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 2 8 Therefore you shall sanctify him, for he offers the bread of your God. He shall be holy to you, for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy. ¶ [2]
9 וּבַת֙ [3] Pashta
אִ֣ישׁ כֹּהֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֥י תֵחֵ֖ל [2] Tip'cha
לִזְנ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
אֶת־אָבִ֙יהָ֙ [3 3] Pashta
הִ֣יא מְחַלֶּ֔לֶת [2] Zaqef
 
בָּאֵ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
תִּשָּׂרֵֽף׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 3 2 2 3 2 9 “ ‘The daughter of any priest, if she profanes herself by playing the prostitute, she profanes her father. She shall be burned with fire. ¶ [3]
10 וְהַכֹּהֵן֩ הַגָּד֨וֹל מֵאֶחָ֜יו [4] Geresh
אֲֽשֶׁר־יוּצַ֥ק עַל־רֹאשׁ֣וֹ ׀ [4] Legarmeh
שֶׁ֤מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה֙ [3] Pashta
וּמִלֵּ֣א אֶת־יָד֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
לִלְבֹּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־הַבְּגָדִ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
אֶת־רֹאשׁוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א יִפְרָ֔ע [2] Zaqef
 
וּבְגָדָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א יִפְרֹֽם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 4 2 2 3 2 10 “ ‘He who is the high priest among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, or tear his clothes. [4]
11 וְעַ֛ל [3] Tevir
כׇּל־נַפְשֹׁ֥ת מֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יָבֹ֑א [1] Etnachta
 
לְאָבִ֥יו וּלְאִמּ֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֥א יִטַּמָּֽא׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 11 He must not go in to any dead body, or defile himself for his father or for his mother. [3]
12 וּמִן־הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ [3] Pashta
לֹ֣א יֵצֵ֔א [2] Zaqef
 
וְלֹ֣א יְחַלֵּ֔ל [2] Zaqef
אֵ֖ת [2] Tip'cha
מִקְדַּ֣שׁ אֱלֹהָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֡י [4] Pazer

שֶׁ֣מֶן מִשְׁחַ֧ת אֱלֹהָ֛יו [3] Tevir
עָלָ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
 
אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 2 3 4 4 12 He shall not go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him. I am the LORD. ¶ [3]

אִשָּׁ֥ה בִבְתוּלֶ֖יהָ [2] Tip'cha
יִקָּֽח׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 13 “ ‘He shall take a wife in her virginity. [2]
14 אַלְמָנָ֤ה וּגְרוּשָׁה֙ [3] Pashta
וַחֲלָלָ֣ה זֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef
 
אֶת־אֵ֖לֶּה [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יִקָּ֑ח [1] Etnachta
 
כִּ֛י [3] Tevir
אִם־בְּתוּלָ֥ה מֵעַמָּ֖יו [2] Tip'cha
יִקַּ֥ח אִשָּֽׁה׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 2 3 14 He shall not marry a widow, or one divorced, or a woman who has been defiled, or a prostitute. He shall take a virgin of his own people as a wife. [3]
15 וְלֹֽא־יְחַלֵּ֥ל זַרְע֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
בְּעַמָּ֑יו [1] Etnachta

אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
מְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃ [1] Silluq

1 2 2 3 15 He shall not profane his offspring among his people, for I am the LORD who sanctifies him.’ ” ¶ [2]
16 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 16 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, [2]
17 דַּבֵּ֥ר אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
לֵאמֹ֑ר [1] Etnachta
 
אִ֣ישׁ מִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֞ [4] Gershayim
לְדֹרֹתָ֗ם [3] Revi'i
 
אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִהְיֶ֥ה בוֹ֙ [3] Pashta
מ֔וּם [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֣א יִקְרַ֔ב [2] Zaqef
לְהַקְרִ֖יב [2] Tip'cha
לֶ֥חֶם אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 3 4 3 2 2 17 “Say to Aaron, ‘None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to offer the bread of his God. [2]
18 כִּ֥י כׇל־אִ֛ישׁ [3] Tevir
אֲשֶׁר־בּ֥וֹ מ֖וּם [2] Tip'cha
לֹ֣א יִקְרָ֑ב [1] Etnachta
 
אִ֤ישׁ עִוֵּר֙ [3] Pashta
א֣וֹ פִסֵּ֔חַ [2] Zaqef
 
א֥וֹ חָרֻ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
א֥וֹ שָׂרֽוּעַ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 2 3 2 18 For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity, [3]
19 א֣וֹ אִ֔ישׁ [2] Zaqef
אֲשֶׁר־יִהְיֶ֥ה ב֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
שֶׁ֣בֶר רָ֑גֶל [1] Etnachta
 
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
שֶׁ֥בֶר יָֽד׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 19 or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand, [2]
20 אֽוֹ־גִבֵּ֣ן אוֹ־דַ֔ק [2] Zaqef
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
תְּבַלֻּ֣ל בְּעֵינ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
א֤וֹ גָרָב֙ [3] Pashta
א֣וֹ יַלֶּ֔פֶת [2] Zaqef
 
א֖וֹ [2] Tip'cha
מְר֥וֹחַ אָֽשֶׁךְ׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 3 2 20 or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles. [2]
21 כׇּל־אִ֞ישׁ [4] Gershayim
אֲשֶׁר־בּ֣וֹ מ֗וּם [3] Revi'i
 
מִזֶּ֙רַע֙ [3 3] Pashta
אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֣א יִגַּ֔שׁ [2] Zaqef
לְהַקְרִ֖יב [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־אִשֵּׁ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta
 
מ֣וּם בּ֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
אֵ֚ת [3] Yetiv
לֶ֣חֶם אֱלֹהָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
 
לֹ֥א יִגַּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
לְהַקְרִֽיב׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 2 2 2 3 2 21 No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a defect shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God. [4]
22 לֶ֣חֶם אֱלֹהָ֔יו [2] Zaqef
מִקׇּדְשֵׁ֖י [2] Tip'cha
הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים [1] Etnachta
 
וּמִן־הַקֳּדָשִׁ֖ים [2] Tip'cha
יֹאכֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 2 2 22 He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy. [2]
23 אַ֣ךְ אֶל־הַפָּרֹ֜כֶת [4] Geresh
לֹ֣א יָבֹ֗א [3] Revi'i
 
וְאֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ [3] Tevir
לֹ֥א יִגַּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
 
כִּֽי־מ֣וּם בּ֑וֹ [1] Etnachta
 
וְלֹ֤א יְחַלֵּל֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־מִקְדָּשַׁ֔י [2] Zaqef
 
כִּ֛י [3] Tevir
אֲנִ֥י יְהֹוָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
מְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq
1 2 3 4 3 2 3 2 3 23 He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a defect; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.’ ” ¶ [4]
24 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר מֹשֶׁ֔ה [2] Zaqef
אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן [2] Tip'cha
וְאֶל־בָּנָ֑יו [1] Etnachta
 
וְאֶֽל־כׇּל־בְּנֵ֖י [2] Tip'cha
יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq
