1 “ ‘If anyone sins, in that he hears a public adjuration to testify, he being a witness, whether he has seen or known, if he doesn’t report it, then he shall bear his iniquity. ¶ [3] |

2 “ ‘Or if anyone [3] touches [3] any unclean thing, [2] that is unclean, [3] the carcass [3] of unclean livestock, [2] the carcass [2] of unclean creeping things; [1] then he is unclean, [2] and he shall be guilty. [1] |

3 “ ‘Or if he touches the uncleanness of man, whatever his uncleanness is with which he is unclean, and it is hidden from him; when he knows of it, then he shall be guilty. ¶ [3] |

4 “ ‘Or if anyone swears rashly with his lips to do evil or to do good—whatever it is that a man might utter rashly with an oath, and it is hidden from him—when he knows of it, then he will be guilty of one of these. [4] |

5 It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned; [2] |

| 6 וְהֵבִ֣יא אֶת־אֲשָׁמ֣וֹ לַיהֹוָ֡ה [4] Munach Munach Pazer עַ֣ל חַטָּאתוֹ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חָטָ֜א [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh נְקֵבָ֨ה מִן־הַצֹּ֥אן כִּשְׂבָּ֛ה [3] Qadma Merkha Tevir אֽוֹ־שְׂעִירַ֥ת עִזִּ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha הַכֹּהֵ֖ן [2] Tip'cha מֵחַטָּאתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 and he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD for his sin which he has sinned: a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin. ¶ [4] |

| 7 וְאִם־לֹ֨א תַגִּ֣יעַ יָדוֹ֮ [3] Qadma Munach Zarqa דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ [2] Munach Segol אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א [3] Munach Revi'a אֽוֹ־שְׁנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־יוֹנָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְאֶחָ֥ד לְעֹלָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
7 “ ‘If he can’t afford a lamb, then he shall bring his trespass offering for that in which he has sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, to the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. [3] |

| 8 וְהֵבִ֤יא אֹתָם֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֔ן [2] Zaqef אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַחַטָּ֖את [2] Merkha Tip'cha רִאשׁוֹנָ֑ה [1] Etnachta מִמּ֥וּל עׇרְפּ֖וֹ [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְלֹ֥א יַבְדִּֽיל׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
8 He shall bring them to the priest, who shall first offer the one which is for the sin offering. He shall wring off its head from its neck, but shall not sever it completely. [3] |

| 9 וְהִזָּ֞ה [4] Gershayim מִדַּ֤ם הַחַטָּאת֙ [3] Mapakh Pashta עַל־קִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ [2] Munach Zaqef יִמָּצֵ֖ה [2] Tip'cha אֶל־יְס֣וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ [1] Munach Etnachta הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq |
9 He shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering. [4] |

| 10 וְאֶת־הַשֵּׁנִ֛י [3] Tevir יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה עֹלָ֖ה [2] Merkha Tip'cha כַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט [1] Etnachta מֵחַטָּאת֥וֹ אֲשֶׁר־חָטָ֖א [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq ס |
10 He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven. ¶ [3] |

| 11 וְאִם־לֹא֩ תַשִּׂ֨יג יָד֜וֹ [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh לִשְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֗ים [3] Munach Revi'a לִשְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵי־יוֹנָה֒ [2] Munach Segol אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א [3] Munach Revi'a סֹ֖לֶת [2] Tip'cha שֶׁ֗מֶן [3] Revi'a לְבֹנָ֔ה [2] Zaqef הִֽוא׃ [1] Silluq |
11 “ ‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he shall bring as his offering for that in which he has sinned, one tenth of an efah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, and he shall not put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering. [4] |

| 12 וֶהֱבִיאָהּ֮ [3] Zarqa אֶל־הַכֹּהֵן֒ [2] Segol מְל֨וֹא קֻמְצ֜וֹ [4] Qadma Geresh אֶת־אַזְכָּרָתָהּ֙ [3] Pashta וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה [2] Munach Zaqef אִשֵּׁ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Munach Etnachta הִֽוא׃ [1] Silluq |
12 He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of the LORD made by fire. It is a sin offering. [3] |

| 13 וְכִפֶּר֩ עָלָ֨יו הַכֹּהֵ֜ן [4] TelishaQ Qadma Geresh עַל־חַטָּאת֧וֹ אֲשֶׁר־חָטָ֛א [3] Darga Tevir מֵֽאַחַ֥ת מֵאֵ֖לֶּה [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְנִסְלַ֣ח ל֑וֹ [1] Munach Etnachta כַּמִּנְחָֽה׃ [1] Silluq ס |
13 The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’ ” ¶ [4] |

14 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, [2] |

| 15 נֶ֚פֶשׁ [3] Yetiv כִּֽי־תִמְעֹ֣ל מַ֔עַל [2] Munach Zaqef בִּשְׁגָגָ֔ה [2] Zaqef יְהֹוָ֑ה [1] Etnachta אַ֧יִל תָּמִ֣ים מִן־הַצֹּ֗אן [3] Darga Munach Revi'a כֶּֽסֶף־שְׁקָלִ֥ים בְּשֶֽׁקֶל־הַקֹּ֖דֶשׁ [2] Merkha Tip'cha |
15 “If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly regarding the LORD’s holy things, then he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD: a ram without defect from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering. [3] |

| 16 וְאֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר֩ חָטָ֨א מִן־הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ [4] Munach TelishaQ Qadma Geresh יְשַׁלֵּ֗ם [3] Revi'a יוֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֔יו [2] Munach Zaqef לַכֹּהֵ֑ן [1] Etnachta יְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו [3] Merkha Tevir בְּאֵ֥יל הָאָשָׁ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq פ |
16 He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong regarding the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven. ¶ [4] |

17 “If anyone sins, doing any of the things which the LORD has commanded not to be done, though he didn’t know it, he is still guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. [3] |

| 18 וְ֠הֵבִ֠יא [4] TelishaG אַ֣יִל תָּמִ֧ים מִן־הַצֹּ֛אן [3] Munach Darga Tevir בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֥ לְאָשָׁ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha אֶל־הַכֹּהֵ֑ן [1] Etnachta עַ֣ל שִׁגְגָת֧וֹ אֲשֶׁר־שָׁגָ֛ג [3] Munach Darga Tevir וְה֥וּא לֹֽא־יָדַ֖ע [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
18 He shall bring a ram without defect from of the flock, according to your estimation, for a trespass offering, to the priest; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing in which he sinned and didn’t know it, and he will be forgiven. [4] |

19 It is a trespass offering. He is certainly guilty before the LORD.” ¶ [2] |

2 “If anyone sins, and commits a trespass against the LORD, and deals falsely with his neighbor in a matter of deposit, or of bargain, or of robbery, or has oppressed his neighbor, [3] |

| 22 אֽוֹ־מָצָ֧א אֲבֵדָ֛ה [3] Darga Tevir וְכִ֥חֶשׁ בָּ֖הּ [2] Merkha Tip'cha וְנִשְׁבַּ֣ע עַל־שָׁ֑קֶר [1] Munach Etnachta מִכֹּ֛ל [3] Tevir אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה הָאָדָ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha לַחֲטֹ֥א בָהֵֽנָּה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq |
3 or has found that which was lost, and lied about it, and swearing to a lie—in any of these things that a man sins in his actions— [3] |

4 then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found, [3] |

5 or any thing about which he has sworn falsely: he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it. He shall return it to him to whom it belongs in the day of his being found guilty. [4] |
