בְּאׇזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וְנִמְצָא֙ [3] Pashta
כָּת֣וּב בּ֔וֹ [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֲ֠שֶׁ֠ר [4] TelishaG
לֹא־יָב֨וֹא עַמֹּנִ֧י וּמוֹאָבִ֛י [3] Qadma Darga Tevir
בִּקְהַ֥ל הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

in the hearing of the people; [1]
 
and it was found [3]

no Ammonite or Moabite should enter [3]

וַיִּשְׂכֹּ֨ר עָלָ֤יו אֶת־בִּלְעָם֙ [3] Qadma Mapakh Pashta
לְקַֽלְל֔וֹ [2] Zaqef
 
וַיַּהֲפֹ֧ךְ אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ [3] Darga Tevir
הַקְּלָלָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
לִבְרָכָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

with bread and with water; [1]
 
but hired against them Balaam [3]
to curse them, [2]
 
though our God turned [3]
the curse [2]
into a blessing. [1]

when they heard the Torah; [1]
 
they separated all who had mixed ancestry [2]
from Israel. [1]

and the gatekeepers; [1]
 
and the offerings [2]
for the priests. [1]

then I discovered the evil [3]
that Eliashib had done [3]
for Tobiah, [2]
 
by preparing for him [3]
a room [2]
 
in the courts [2]
of the house of God. [1]

all the household goods of Tobiah [3]

of the storeroom, [1]

וַֽיְטַהֲר֖וּ [2] Tip'cha
הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת [1] Etnachta
 
וָאָשִׁ֣יבָה שָּׁ֗ם [3] Munach Revi'a
כְּלֵי֙ [3] Pashta
בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים [2] Munach Zaqef
 
אֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֖ה [2] Tip'cha
וְהַלְּבוֹנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq

and they were cleansed, [2]
the storerooms; [1]
 
then I restored [3]
the utensils [3]
of the House of God, [2]
 
the grain offerings [2]
and the frankincense. [1]
10 וָאֵ֣דְעָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
כִּֽי־מְנָי֥וֹת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם [2] Merkha Tip'cha
לֹ֣א נִתָּ֑נָה [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וַיִּבְרְח֧וּ אִישׁ־לְשָׂדֵ֛הוּ [3] Darga Tevir
הַלְוִיִּ֥ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים [2] Merkha Tip'cha
עֹשֵׂ֥י הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ [1] Merkha Silluq

that the portions for the Levites [2]
had not been given; [1]
 
so each one had gone back to his own field, [3]
the Levites and the singers [2]
who did the work. [1]
11 וָאָרִ֙יבָה֙ [3] Pashta
אֶת־הַסְּגָנִ֔ים [2] Zaqef
 
וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה [2] Munach Zaqef
מַדּ֖וּעַ [2] Tip'cha
נֶעֱזַ֣ב בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים [1] Munach Etnachta
 
וָֽאֶקְבְּצֵ֔ם [2] Zaqef
וָֽאַעֲמִדֵ֖ם [2] Tip'cha
עַל־עׇמְדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq

with the leaders [2]
 
and I said, [2]
“Why [2]
has the House of God been forsaken?” [1]
 
and I assembled them [2]
and I stationed them [2]
at their posts. [1]

מַעְשַׂ֧ר הַדָּגָ֛ן [3] Darga Tevir

לָאוֹצָרֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq

the tithe of the grain [3]
and the new wine and the oil, [2]
 
to the storehouses. [1]

they were counted, [2]
 
and on them [2]
was to distribute to their brothers. [1]

bringing them into Jerusalem [2]
on the Sabbath day; [1]
 
so I protested [2]
the day on which [2]
they were selling food. [1]

and were selling on the Sabbath [3]
to the children of Judah, [2]

“What is this evil thing [3]
that you are doing, [2]

and some of my servants [3]
I stationed [3]
at the gates, [2]
 
(so that) no burden could enter [2]
on the Sabbath day. [1]

2 3 4 20 Then they camped, the traders [4]
and sellers of all kinds of merchandise, [3]
outside of Jerusalem [2]
once or twice. [1]

לְקַדֵּ֖שׁ [2] Tip'cha
אֶת־י֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת [1] Munach Etnachta
 
גַּם־זֹאת֙ [3] Pashta

וְח֥וּסָה עָלַ֖י [2] Merkha Tip'cha

and I made them swear by God, [3]
“You shall not give your daughters [3]
