1 מֹאזְנֵ֣י מִ֭רְמָה [3] Dechi
תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְאֶ֖בֶן שְׁלֵמָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
רְצוֹנֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 Dishonest scales [3]
are an abomination to the LORD; [2]
 
but an accurate weight [2]
is his delight. [1]
2 בָּֽא־זָ֭דוֹן [3] Dechi
וַיָּבֹ֣א קָל֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽאֶת־צְנוּעִ֥ים חׇכְמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 When pride comes, [3]
then comes shame; [2]
 
but with the humble is wisdom. [1]
3 תֻּמַּ֣ת יְשָׁרִ֣ים [3] VDechi
תַּנְחֵ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וְסֶ֖לֶף בֹּגְדִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
*ושדם **יְשָׁדֵּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 The integrity of the upright, [3]
it guides them; [2]
 
but the perverseness of the treacherous, [2]
it destroys them. [1]
4 לֹא־יוֹעִ֣יל ה֭וֹן [3] Dechi
בְּי֣וֹם עֶבְרָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּצִּ֥יל מִמָּֽוֶת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Riches don’t profit [3]
in the day of wrath; [2]
 
but righteousness, [2]
it delivers from death. [1]
5 צִדְקַ֣ת תָּ֭מִים [3] Dechi
תְּיַשֵּׁ֣ר דַּרְכּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְרִשְׁעָת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִפֹּ֥ל רָשָֽׁע׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 The righteousness of the blameless, [3]
it makes his way straight; [2]
 
but by his wickedness, [2]
the wicked falls. [1]
6 צִדְקַ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים [3] Dechi
תַּצִּילֵ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְהַוַּ֗ת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בֹּגְדִ֥ים יִלָּכֵֽדוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 The righteousness of the upright, [3]
it delivers them; [2]
 
but by desire [2]
the treacherous are caught. [1]
7 בְּמ֤וֹת אָדָ֣ם רָ֭שָׁע [3] Dechi
תֹּאבַ֣ד תִּקְוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְתוֹחֶ֖לֶת אוֹנִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
אָבָֽדָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 When a wicked man dies, [3]
hope is lost; [2]
 
and the expectation of strength, [2]
it perishes. [1]
8 צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
מִצָּרָ֣ה נֶחֱלָ֑ץ [2] Etnachta
 
וַיָּבֹ֖א רָשָׁ֣ע [2] VRevMug
תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 The righteous [3]
is delivered from distress; [2]
 
and the wicked comes [2]
in his place. [1]
9 בְּפֶ֗ה [3] Revi'i
חָ֭נֵף [3] Dechi
יַשְׁחִ֣ת רֵעֵ֑הוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְדַ֗עַת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
צַדִּיקִ֥ים יֵחָלֵֽצוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 9 By (his) mouth [3]
the godless, [3]
he destroys his neighbor; [2]
 
but through knowledge [2]
the righteous will be delivered. [1]
10 בְּט֣וּב צַ֭דִּיקִים [3] Dechi
תַּעֲלֹ֣ץ קִרְיָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּבַאֲבֹ֖ד רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
רִנָּֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 In the prosperity of the righteous [3]
a city rejoices; [2]
 
and when the wicked perish, [2]
a shout of joy. [1]
11 בְּבִרְכַּ֣ת יְ֭שָׁרִים [3] Dechi
תָּר֣וּם קָ֑רֶת [2] Etnachta
 
וּבְפִ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תֵּהָרֵֽס׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 By the blessing of the upright [3]
a city is exalted; [2]
 
but by the mouth of the wicked [2]
it is torn down. [1]
12 בׇּז־לְרֵעֵ֥הוּ חֲסַר־לֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
וְאִ֖ישׁ תְּבוּנ֣וֹת [2] VRevMug
יַחֲרִֽישׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 12 One who despises his neighbor lacks wisdom; [2]
 
but a person of understanding, [2]
he remains silent. [1]
13 הוֹלֵ֣ךְ רָ֭כִיל [3] Dechi
מְגַלֶּה־סּ֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
 
וְנֶאֱמַן־ר֝֗וּחַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מְכַסֶּ֥ה דָבָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 One who spreads gossip [3]
reveals a secret; [2]
 
but the trustworthy in spirit [2]
conceals a matter. [1]
14 בְּאֵ֣ין תַּ֭חְבֻּלוֹת [3] Dechi
יִפׇּל־עָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝תְשׁוּעָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּרֹ֣ב יוֹעֵֽץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 With no guidance, [3]
a people falls; [2]
 
but deliverance [2]
is in a multitude of counselors. [1]
15 רַע־יֵ֭רוֹעַ [3] Dechi
כִּי־עָ֣רַב זָ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
וְשֹׂנֵ֖א תֹקְעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
בּוֹטֵֽחַ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 He will suffer harm [3]
who puts up security for a stranger; [2]
 
but one who refuses to shake hands in pledge [2]
is secure. [1]
16 אֵֽשֶׁת־חֵ֭ן [3] Dechi
תִּתְמֹ֣ךְ כָּב֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝עָרִיצִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִתְמְכוּ־עֹֽשֶׁר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 A gracious woman, [3]
she takes hold of honor; [2]
 
but the ruthless, [2]
they take hold of riches. [1]
17 גֹּמֵ֣ל נַ֭פְשׁוֹ [3] Dechi
אִ֣ישׁ חָ֑סֶד [2] Etnachta
 
וְעֹכֵ֥ר שְׁ֝אֵר֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַכְזָרִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 (He) does his own soul good, [3]
a kind person; [2]
 
but harms his own flesh, [2]
the cruel. [1]
18 רָשָׁ֗ע [3] Revi'i
עֹשֶׂ֥ה פְעֻלַּת־שָׁ֑קֶר [2] Etnachta
 
וְזֹרֵ֥עַ צְ֝דָקָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֶׂ֣כֶר אֱמֶֽת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 The wicked [3]
earn deceitful wages; [2]
 
but a sower of righteousness, [2]
a true reward. [1]
19 כֵּן־צְדָקָ֥ה לְחַיִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וּמְרַדֵּ֖ף רָעָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
לְמוֹתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 19 True righteousness is to life; [2]
 
but whoever pursues evil [2]
is to his own death. [1]
20 תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
עִקְּשֵׁי־לֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝רְצוֹנ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תְּמִ֣ימֵי דָֽרֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 An abomination to the LORD [3]
are the perverse of heart; [2]
 
but his delight [2]
is those whose way is blameless. [1]
21 יָ֣ד לְ֭יָד [3] Dechi
לֹא־יִנָּ֣קֶה רָּ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וְזֶ֖רַע צַדִּיקִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
נִמְלָֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 Most certainly [3]
the evil will not go unpunished; [2]
 
but the offspring of the righteous, [2]
he will be delivered. [1]
22 נֶ֣זֶם זָ֭הָב [3] Dechi
בְּאַ֣ף חֲזִ֑יר [2] Etnachta
 
אִשָּׁ֥ה יָ֝פָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְסָ֣רַת טָֽעַם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 A ring of gold [3]
in the nose of a pig; [2]
 
is a woman who is beautiful [2]
but lacks discretion. [1]
23 תַּאֲוַ֣ת צַדִּיקִ֣ים [3] VDechi
אַךְ־ט֑וֹב [2] Etnachta
 
תִּקְוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
עֶבְרָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 The desire of the righteous [3]
is only good; [2]
 
the hope of the wicked [2]
(will bring) wrath. [1]
24 יֵ֣שׁ מְ֭פַזֵּר [3] Dechi
וְנוֹסָ֥ף ע֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
 
וְחֹשֵׂ֥ךְ מִ֝יֹּ֗שֶׁר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַךְ־לְמַחְסֽוֹר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 There is one who scatters [3]
and yet gains even more; [2]
 
and another who withholds from uprightness, [2]
only coming to poverty. [1]
25 נֶֽפֶשׁ־בְּרָכָ֥ה תְדֻשָּׁ֑ן [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝מַרְוֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
גַּם־ה֥וּא יוֹרֶֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 25 A soul who blesses will prosper; [2]
 
and one who waters, [2]
he himself shall also be watered. [1]
26 מֹ֣נֵֽעַ בָּ֭ר [3] Dechi
יִקְּבֻ֣הוּ לְא֑וֹם [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְרָכָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְרֹ֣אשׁ מַשְׁבִּֽיר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 One who withholds grain, [3]
people curse him; [2]
 
but blessing [2]
is on the head of one who sells grain. [1]
27 שֹׁ֣חֵֽר ט֭וֹב [3] Dechi
יְבַקֵּ֣שׁ רָצ֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
וְדֹרֵ֖שׁ רָעָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
תְבוֹאֶֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 One who diligently seeks good, [3]
he seeks favor; [2]
 
but one who searches after evil, [2]
it shall come to him. [1]
28 בּוֹטֵ֣חַ בְּ֭עׇשְׁרוֹ [3] Dechi
ה֣וּא יִפּ֑וֹל [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝כֶעָלֶ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
צַדִּיקִ֥ים יִפְרָֽחוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 28 One who trusts in his wealth, [3]
he, he will fall; [2]
 
but like a (green) leaf, [2]
the righteous shall flourish. [1]
29 עֹכֵ֣ר בֵּ֭יתוֹ [3] Dechi
יִנְחַל־ר֑וּחַ [2] Etnachta
 
וְעֶ֥בֶד אֱ֝וִ֗יל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַֽחֲכַם־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 Whoever troubles his own household, [3]
he shall inherit the wind; [2]
 
and the fool shall be servant [2]
to the wise of heart. [1]
30 פְּֽרִי־צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
עֵ֣ץ חַיִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹקֵ֖חַ נְפָשׁ֣וֹת [2] VRevMug
חָכָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 The fruit of the righteous [3]
is a tree of life; [2]
 
and whoever wins souls [2]
is wise. [1]
31 הֵ֣ן צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
בָּאָ֣רֶץ יְשֻׁלָּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
אַ֝֗ף [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּֽי־רָשָׁ֥ע וְחוֹטֵֽא׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 Behold the righteous, [3]
on earth he is rewarded; [2]
 
how much more [2]
the wicked and the sinner! [1]
