1 מִשְׁלֵ֗י [3] Revi'i
שְׁלֹ֫מֹ֥ה [2] Ole Veyored
 
בֵּ֣ן חָ֭כָם [3] Dechi
יְשַׂמַּח־אָ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
וּבֵ֥ן כְּ֝סִ֗יל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תּוּגַ֥ת אִמּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 1 The proverbs [3]
of Solomon. [2]
 
A wise son, [3]
he makes a father glad, [2]
 
but a foolish son [2]
is the grief of his mother. [1]
2 לֹֽא־י֭וֹעִילוּ [3] Dechi
אוֹצְר֣וֹת רֶ֑שַׁע [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּצִּ֥יל מִמָּֽוֶת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 They profit nothing, [3]
treasures of wickedness; [2]
 
but righteousness, [2]
it delivers from death. [1]
3 לֹא־יַרְעִ֣יב יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
נֶ֣פֶשׁ צַדִּ֑יק [2] Etnachta
 
וְהַוַּ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
יֶהְדֹּֽף׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 The LORD doesn't allow to go hungry [3]
the soul of the righteous; [2]
 
but the craving of the wicked [2]
he thwarts. [1]
4 רָ֗אשׁ [3] Revi'i
עֹשֶׂ֥ה כַף־רְמִיָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְיַ֖ד חָרוּצִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תַּעֲשִֽׁיר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Poor [3]
is one who works with a lazy hand; [2]
 
but the hand of the diligent, [2]
it brings wealth. [1]
5 אֹגֵ֣ר בַּ֭קַּיִץ [3] Dechi
בֵּ֣ן מַשְׂכִּ֑יל [2] Etnachta
 
נִרְדָּ֥ם בַּ֝קָּצִ֗יר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בֵּ֣ן מֵבִֽישׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 One who gathers in the summer [3]
is a prudent son; [2]
 
but one who sleeps at the harvest [2]
is a son who brings shame. [1]
6 בְּ֭רָכוֹת [3] Dechi
לְרֹ֣אשׁ צַדִּ֑יק [2] Etnachta
 
וּפִ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְכַסֶּ֥ה חָמָֽס׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Blessings [3]
are on the head of the righteous; [2]
 
but the mouth of the wicked, [2]
it conceals violence. [1]
7 זֵ֣כֶר צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
לִבְרָכָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְשֵׁ֖ם רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
יִרְקָֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 The memory of the righteous [3]
is for a blessing; [2]
 
but the name of the wicked, [2]
it will rot. [1]
8 חֲכַם־לֵ֭ב [3] Dechi
יִקַּ֣ח מִצְוֺ֑ת [2] Etnachta
 
וֶאֱוִ֥יל שְׂ֝פָתַ֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִלָּבֵֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 One with a wise heart, [3]
he accepts commandments; [2]
 
but one with foolish lips, [2]
he will come to ruin. [1]
9 הוֹלֵ֣ךְ בַּ֭תֹּם [3] Dechi
יֵ֣לֶךְ בֶּ֑טַח [2] Etnachta
 
וּמְעַקֵּ֥שׁ דְּ֝רָכָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִוָּדֵֽעַ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 One who walks in integrity, [3]
he walks securely; [2]
 
but one who makes crooked his paths, [2]
he will be found out. [1]
10 קֹ֣רֵֽץ עַ֭יִן [3] Dechi
יִתֵּ֣ן עַצָּ֑בֶת [2] Etnachta
 
וֶאֱוִ֥יל שְׂ֝פָתַ֗יִם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִלָּבֵֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 One who winks an eye, [3]
he causes grief; [2]
 
but one with foolish lips, [2]
he will come to ruin. [1]
11 מְק֣וֹר חַ֭יִּים [3] Dechi
פִּ֣י צַדִּ֑יק [2] Etnachta
 
וּפִ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְכַסֶּ֥ה חָמָֽס׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 A fountain of life [3]
is the mouth of the righteous; [2]
 
but the mouth of the wicked, [2]
it conceals violence. [1]
12 שִׂ֭נְאָה [3] Dechi
תְּעֹרֵ֣ר מְדָנִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וְעַ֥ל כׇּל־פְּ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תְּכַסֶּ֥ה אַהֲבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Hatred, [3]
it stirs up strife; [2]
 
but over all transgressions, [2]
love covers. [1]
13 בְּשִׂפְתֵ֣י נָ֭בוֹן [3] Dechi
תִּמָּצֵ֣א חׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝שֵׁ֗בֶט [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְגֵ֣ו חֲסַר־לֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 On the lips of one who has discernment [3]
wisdom is found; [2]
 
but a rod [2]
is for the back of one who lacks understanding. [1]
14 חֲכָמִ֥ים יִצְפְּנוּ־דָ֑עַת [2] Etnachta
 
וּפִֽי־אֱ֝וִ֗יל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מְחִתָּ֥ה קְרֹבָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 14 The wise store up knowledge; [2]
 
but the mouth of a fool [2]
is near ruin. [1]
15 ה֣וֹן עָ֭שִׁיר [3] Dechi
קִרְיַ֣ת עֻזּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
מְחִתַּ֖ת דַּלִּ֣ים [2] VRevMug
רֵישָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 The wealth of the rich [3]
is his strong city; [2]
 
the ruin of the poor [2]
is their poverty. [1]
16 פְּעֻלַּ֣ת צַדִּ֣יק [3] VDechi
לְחַיִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
תְּבוּאַ֖ת רָשָׁ֣ע [2] VRevMug
לְחַטָּֽאת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 The wages of the righteous [3]
are life; [2]
 
the increase of the wicked [2]
is sin. [1]
17 אֹ֣רַח לְ֭חַיִּים [3] Dechi
שׁוֹמֵ֣ר מוּסָ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
וְעֹזֵ֖ב תּוֹכַ֣חַת [2] VRevMug
מַתְעֶֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 The path to life [3]
is to heed discipline; [2]
 
but one who ignores correction [2]
goes astray. [1]
18 מְכַסֶּ֣ה שִׂ֭נְאָה [3] Dechi
שִׂפְתֵי־שָׁ֑קֶר [2] Etnachta
 
וּמוֹצִ֥א דִ֝בָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
ה֣וּא כְסִֽיל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 One who conceals hatred [3]
has lying lips; [2]
 
and one who spreads slander, [2]
he is a fool. [1]
19 בְּרֹ֣ב דְּ֭בָרִים [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יֶחְדַּל־פָּ֑שַׁע [2] Etnachta
 
וְחוֹשֵׂ֖ךְ שְׂפָתָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 19 When words are many [3]
transgression is unavoidable; [2]
 
so one who restrains his lips [2]
is wise. [1]
20 כֶּ֣סֶף נִ֭בְחָר [3] Dechi
לְשׁ֣וֹן צַדִּ֑יק [2] Etnachta
 
לֵ֖ב רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
כִּמְעָֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 Choice silver [3]
is the tongue of the righteous; [2]
 
the heart of the wicked [2]
is of little worth. [1]
21 שִׂפְתֵ֣י צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
יִרְע֣וּ רַבִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וֶ֝אֱוִילִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּחֲסַר־לֵ֥ב יָמֽוּתוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 The lips of the righteous, [3]
they feed many; [2]
 
but fools, [2]
they die for lack of understanding. [1]
22 בִּרְכַּ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
הִ֣יא תַעֲשִׁ֑יר [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹֽא־יוֹסִ֖ף עֶ֣צֶב [2] VRevMug
עִמָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 The blessing of the LORD, [3]
it brings wealth; [2]
 
and he doesn't require hard labor [2]
for it. [1]
23 כִּשְׂח֣וֹק לִ֭כְסִיל [3] Dechi
עֲשׂ֣וֹת זִמָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝חׇכְמָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְאִ֣ישׁ תְּבוּנָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 23 A fool’s pleasure [3]
is to do wickedness; [2]
 
but wisdom [2]
for a man of understanding. [1]
24 מְגוֹרַ֣ת רָ֭שָׁע [3] Dechi
הִ֣יא תְבוֹאֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְתַאֲוַ֖ת צַדִּיקִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
יִתֵּֽן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 What the wicked fears, [3]
that's what will come upon him; [2]
 
but the desire of the righteous [2]
will be granted. [1]
25 כַּעֲב֣וֹר ס֭וּפָה [3] Dechi
וְאֵ֣ין רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝צַדִּ֗יק [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְס֣וֹד עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 25 When the whirlwind passes, [3]
the wicked is no more; [2]
 
but the righteous [2]
stands firm forever. [1]
26 כַּחֹ֤מֶץ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
לַשִּׁנַּ֗יִם [3] Revi'i
וְכֶעָשָׁ֥ן לָעֵינָ֑יִם [2] Etnachta
 
כֵּ֥ן הֶ֝עָצֵ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְשֹׁלְחָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 26 Like vinegar [4]
to the teeth, [3]
and like smoke to the eyes; [2]
 
so is the sluggard [2]
to those who send him. [1]
27 יִרְאַ֣ת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
תּוֹסִ֣יף יָמִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
וּשְׁנ֖וֹת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּקְצֹֽרְנָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 The fear of the LORD, [3]
it prolongs days; [2]
 
but the years of the wicked, [2]
they will be short. [1]
28 תּוֹחֶ֣לֶת צַדִּיקִ֣ים [3] VDechi
שִׂמְחָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְתִקְוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תֹּאבֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 28 The hope of the righteous [3]
is joy; [2]
 
but the expectation of the wicked, [2]
it will perish. [1]
29 מָע֣וֹז לַ֭תֹּם [3] Dechi
דֶּ֣רֶךְ יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝מְחִתָּ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְפֹ֣עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 A stronghold to the upright [3]
is the way of the LORD; [2]
 
but ruin [2]
to those who do evil. [1]
30 צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
לְעוֹלָ֣ם בַּל־יִמּ֑וֹט [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝רְשָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א יִשְׁכְּנוּ־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 The righteous, [3]
never will he be shaken; [2]
 
but the wicked, [2]
they will not dwell in the land. [1]
31 פִּֽי־צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
יָנ֣וּב חׇכְמָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וּלְשׁ֥וֹן תַּ֝הְפֻּכ֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּכָּרֵֽת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 The mouth of the righteous, [3]
it bears the fruit of wisdom; [2]
 
but the perverse tongue, [2]
it will be cut off. [1]
32 שִׂפְתֵ֣י צַ֭דִּיק [3] Dechi
יֵדְע֣וּן רָצ֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
וּפִ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תַּהְפֻּכֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 32 The lips of the righteous, [3]
they know what finds favor; [2]
 
but the mouth of the wicked, [2]
what is perverse. [1]
