2 3 4 3 2 7 Our fathers in Egypt, [4]
they didn’t consider your wonders, [3]

they didn’t remember [3]
the greatness of your lovingkindness; [2]

but they rebelled at the sea, [2]
at the Sea of Suf. [1]
8 וַֽ֭יּוֹשִׁיעֵם [3] Dechi
לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

לְ֝הוֹדִ֗יעַ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶת־גְּבוּרָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 But he saved them [3]
for the sake of his name; [2]

וַֽיֶּחֱרָ֑ב [2] Etnachta

וַיּוֹלִיכֵ֥ם בַּ֝תְּהֹמ֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 And he rebuked the Sea of Suf, [3]

and he led them through the depths [2]
as through a desert. [1]
10 וַֽ֭יּוֹשִׁיעֵם [3] Dechi

11 וַיְכַסּוּ־מַ֥יִם צָרֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

אֶחָ֥ד מֵ֝הֶ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א נוֹתָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 11 And the waters covered their adversaries; [2]

(even) one of them, [2]
he was not left. [1]
12 וַיַּאֲמִ֥ינוּ בִדְבָרָ֑יו [2] Etnachta

יָ֝שִׁ֗ירוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash

they sang [2]
his praise. [1]
13 מִ֭הֲרוּ [3] Dechi
שָׁכְח֣וּ מַֽעֲשָׂ֑יו [2] Etnachta

2 3 2 13 (But) soon they, [3]
they forgot his works; [2]

they didn’t wait [2]
for his counsel, [1]
14 וַיִּתְאַוּ֣וּ תַ֭אֲוָה [3] Dechi
בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר [2] Etnachta

וַיְנַסּוּ־אֵ֝֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּישִׁימֽוֹן׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 but they gave in to craving [3]
in the desert; [2]

and they tested God [2]
in the wasteland. [1]
15 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן לָ֭הֶם [3] Dechi
שֶׁאֱלָתָ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַיְשַׁלַּ֖ח רָז֣וֹן [2] VRevMug
בְּנַפְשָֽׁם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 And he gave to them [3]
their request; [2]

but he sent a wasting disease [2]
on their soul. [1]
16 וַיְקַנְא֣וּ לְ֭מֹשֶׁה [3] Dechi
בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta

לְ֝אַהֲרֹ֗ן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קְד֣וֹשׁ יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 And they were envious of Moses [3]
in the camp; [2]

of Aaron [2]
the holy one of the LORD. [1]
17 תִּפְתַּח־אֶ֭רֶץ [3] Dechi
וַתִּבְלַ֣ע דָּתָ֑ן [2] Etnachta

וַ֝תְּכַ֗ס [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־עֲדַ֥ת אֲבִירָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 The earth opened [3]
and it swallowed up Dathan; [2]

and it covered [2]
over the company of Abiram. [1]
18 וַתִּבְעַר־אֵ֥שׁ בַּעֲדָתָ֑ם [2] Etnachta

לֶ֝הָבָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תְּלַהֵ֥ט רְשָׁעִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 18 And fire burned among their company; [2]

flame, [2]
it burned up the wicked. [1]
19 יַעֲשׂוּ־עֵ֥גֶל בְּחֹרֵ֑ב [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יִּשְׁתַּחֲו֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמַסֵּכָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 19 They made a calf at Horeb; [2]

and they bowed down [2]
to a molten image. [1]
20 וַיָּמִ֥ירוּ אֶת־כְּבוֹדָ֑ם [2] Etnachta

בְּתַבְנִ֥ית שׁ֝֗וֹר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֹכֵ֥ל עֵֽשֶׂב׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 20 And they exchanged their glory; [2]

for an image of an ox [2]
which eats grass. [1]
21 שָׁ֭כְחוּ [3] Dechi
אֵ֣ל מוֹשִׁיעָ֑ם [2] Etnachta

עֹשֶׂ֖ה גְדֹל֣וֹת [2] VRevMug
בְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 21 They forgot [3]
God their deliverer; [2]

who had done great things [2]
in Egypt, [1]
22 נִ֭פְלָאוֹת [3] Dechi
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חָ֑ם [2] Etnachta

נ֝וֹרָא֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־יַם־סֽוּף׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 22 wonders [3]
in the land of Ham; [2]

awesome deeds [2]
at the Sea of Suf. [1]
23 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i
לְֽהַשְׁמִ֫ידָ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored

לוּלֵ֡י [4] Pazer
מֹ֘שֶׁ֤ה בְחִיר֗וֹ [3] Revi'i

לְפָנָ֑יו [2] Etnachta

לְהָשִׁ֥יב חֲ֝מָת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מֵהַשְׁחִֽית׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 4 3 2 23 And he said [3]
to destroy them; [2]

if not [4]
Moses his chosen one, [3]

he had stood in the breach [3]
before him, [2]

to turn back his anger [2]
from destroying. [1]
24 וַֽ֭יִּמְאֲסוּ [3] Dechi
בְּאֶ֣רֶץ חֶמְדָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta

לֹא־הֶ֝אֱמִ֗ינוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִדְבָרֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 24 And they rejected [3]
the pleasant land; [2]

they didn’t believe [2]
his word, [1]
25 וַיֵּרָגְנ֥וּ בְאׇהֳלֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

לֹ֥א שָׁ֝מְע֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּק֣וֹל יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 25 but they murmured in their tents; [2]

they didn’t listen [2]
to the voice of the LORD. [1]
26 וַיִּשָּׂ֣א יָד֣וֹ [3] VDechi
לָהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

לְהַפִּ֥יל א֝וֹתָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 26 So he raised his hand [3]
to them; [2]

to make them fall [2]
in the wilderness, [1]
27 וּלְהַפִּ֣יל זַ֭רְעָם [3] Dechi
בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וּ֝לְזָרוֹתָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 27 and to make their offspring fall [3]
among the nations; [2]

and to scatter them [2]
among the lands. [1]
28 וַ֭יִּצָּ֣מְדוּ [3] Dechi
לְבַ֣עַל פְּע֑וֹר [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יֹּאכְל֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
זִבְחֵ֥י מֵתִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 28 And they joined themselves [3]
to Baal Peor; [2]

and they ate [2]
sacrifices of the dead. [1]
29 וַ֭יַּכְעִיסוּ [3] Dechi
בְּמַ֥עַלְלֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַתִּפְרׇץ־בָּ֝֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מַגֵּפָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 29 Thus they provoked to anger [3]
by their deeds; [2]

and it broke out among them, [2]
a plague. [1]
30 וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד פִּֽ֭ינְחָס [3] Dechi
וַיְפַלֵּ֑ל [2] Etnachta

וַ֝תֵּעָצַ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַמַּגֵּפָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 30 Then Phinehas stood up [3]
and he mediated; [2]

and it was restrained, [2]
the plague. [1]
31 וַתֵּחָ֣שֶׁב ל֭וֹ [3] Dechi
לִצְדָקָ֑ה [2] Etnachta

לְדֹ֥ר וָ֝דֹ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 31 And it was credited to him [3]
for righteousness; [2]

for generation and generation [2]
ongoing. [1]
32 וַ֭יַּקְצִיפוּ [3] Dechi
עַל־מֵ֥י מְרִיבָ֑ה [2] Etnachta

וַיֵּ֥רַע לְ֝מֹשֶׁ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּעֲבוּרָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 32 And they provoked to anger [3]
at the waters of Meribah; [2]

so that Moses was troubled [2]
because of them, [1]
33 כִּי־הִמְר֥וּ אֶת־רוּח֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יְבַטֵּ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בִּשְׂפָתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 33 for they were rebellious against his spirit; [2]

and he spoke rashly [2]
with his lips. [1]
34 לֹֽא־הִ֭שְׁמִידוּ [3] Dechi
אֶת־הָעַמִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta

אֲשֶׁ֤ר אָמַ֖ר יְהֹוָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
לָהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 34 They didn’t destroy [3]
the peoples; [2]

as the LORD had said [2]
to them, [1]
35 וַיִּתְעָרְב֥וּ בַגּוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַֽ֝יִּלְמְד֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מַעֲשֵׂיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 35 but they mixed themselves with the nations; [2]

and they learned [2]
their deeds. [1]
36 וַיַּעַבְד֥וּ אֶת־עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַיִּהְי֖וּ לָהֶ֣ם [2] VRevMug
לְמוֹקֵֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 36 And they served their idols; [2]

and they became for them [2]
a snare. [1]
37 וַיִּזְבְּח֣וּ אֶת־בְּ֭נֵיהֶם [3] Dechi
וְאֶת־בְּנוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם [3/2] Revi'i
לַשֵּׁדִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 37 And they sacrificed their sons [3]
and their daughters [3/2]
to demons. [1]
38 וַיִּ֥שְׁפְּכ֨וּ דָ֪ם נָקִ֡י [4] Pazer
דַּם־בְּנֵ֘יהֶ֤ם וּֽבְנוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם [3] Revi'i

אֲשֶׁ֣ר זִ֭בְּחוּ [3] Dechi
לַעֲצַבֵּ֣י כְנָ֑עַן [2] Etnachta

וַתֶּחֱנַ֥ף הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּדָּמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 38 And they shed innocent blood, [4]
the blood of their sons and their daughters, [3]

whom they sacrificed [3]
to the idols of Canaan; [2]

and the land was polluted [2]
by the blood. [1]
39 וַיִּטְמְא֥וּ בְמַעֲשֵׂיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יִּזְנ֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּמַ֥עַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 39 And they became unclean by their works; [2]

and they prostituted themselves [2]
by their deeds. [1]
40 וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֣ף יְהֹוָ֣ה [3] VDechi
בְּעַמּ֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יְתָעֵ֗ב [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶת־נַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 40 And the anger of the LORD burned [3]
against his people; [2]

and he abhorred [2]
his inheritance. [1]
41 וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם בְּיַד־גּוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַֽיִּמְשְׁל֥וּ בָ֝הֶ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שֹׂנְאֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 41 And he gave them into the hand of nations; [2]

and they ruled over them, [2]
those who hated them. [1]
42 וַיִּלְחָצ֥וּם אוֹיְבֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יִּכָּנְע֗וּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash

וַ֝יָּמֹ֗כּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בַּעֲוֺנָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 43 Many times [3]
he delivered them; [2]

but they, [3]
they rebelled by their plans, [2]

and they were brought low [2]
by their iniquity. [1]
44 וַ֭יַּרְא [3] Dechi

2 3 2 44 But he saw [3]
their distress; [2]

when he heard [2]
their cry for help. [1]
45 וַיִּזְכֹּ֣ר לָהֶ֣ם [3] VDechi
בְּרִית֑וֹ [2] Etnachta

וַ֝יִּנָּחֵ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כְּרֹ֣ב חֲסָדָֽו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 45 And he remembered for them [3]
his covenant; [2]

and he relented [2]
according to the greatness of his lovingkindness. [1]
46 וַיִּתֵּ֣ן אוֹתָ֣ם [3] VDechi
לְרַחֲמִ֑ים [2] Etnachta

לִ֝פְנֵ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־שׁוֹבֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq

before [2]
all who carried them captive. [1]
