6 We have sinned with our fathers, [3/2] we have done wrong, we have acted wickedly. [1] |
7 Our fathers in Egypt, [4] they didn’t consider your wonders, [3] the greatness of your lovingkindness; [2] at the Sea of Suf. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
8 But he saved them [3] for the sake of his name; [2] his might. [1] |

10 And he saved them [3] from the hand of one who hated; [2] from the hand of an enemy. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
11 And the waters covered their adversaries; [2] he was not left. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
12 Then they believed in his words; [2] his praise. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
13 (But) soon they, [3] they forgot his works; [2] for his counsel, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
14 but they gave in to craving [3] in the desert; [2] in the wasteland. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
15 And he gave to them [3] their request; [2] on their soul. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
16 And they were envious of Moses [3] in the camp; [2] the holy one of the LORD. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
17 The earth opened [3] and it swallowed up Dathan; [2] over the company of Abiram. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
18 And fire burned among their company; [2] it burned up the wicked. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
19 They made a calf at Horeb; [2] to a molten image. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
20 And they exchanged their glory; [2] which eats grass. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
21 They forgot [3] God their deliverer; [2] in Egypt, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
22 wonders [3] in the land of Ham; [2] at the Sea of Suf. [1] |
| 23 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר [3] Revi'i לְֽהַשְׁמִ֫ידָ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored מֹ֘שֶׁ֤ה בְחִיר֗וֹ [3] Revi'i לְפָנָ֑יו [2] Etnachta מֵהַשְׁחִֽית׃ [1] Silluq |
23 And he said [3] to destroy them; [2] Moses his chosen one, [3] before him, [2] from destroying. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
24 And they rejected [3] the pleasant land; [2] his word, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
25 but they murmured in their tents; [2] to the voice of the LORD. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
26 So he raised his hand [3] to them; [2] in the wilderness, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
27 and to make their offspring fall [3] among the nations; [2] among the lands. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
28 And they joined themselves [3] to Baal Peor; [2] sacrifices of the dead. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
29 Thus they provoked to anger [3] by their deeds; [2] a plague. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
30 Then Phinehas stood up [3] and he mediated; [2] the plague. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
31 And it was credited to him [3] for righteousness; [2] ongoing. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
32 And they provoked to anger [3] at the waters of Meribah; [2] because of them, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
33 for they were rebellious against his spirit; [2] with his lips. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
34 They didn’t destroy [3] the peoples; [2] to them, [1] |
[1] Silluq |
35 but they mixed themselves with the nations; [2] their deeds. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
36 And they served their idols; [2] a snare. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
37 And they sacrificed their sons [3] and their daughters [3/2] to demons. [1] |
38 And they shed innocent blood, [4] the blood of their sons and their daughters, [3] to the idols of Canaan; [2] by the blood. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
39 And they became unclean by their works; [2] by their deeds. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
40 And the anger of the LORD burned [3] against his people; [2] his inheritance. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
41 And he gave them into the hand of nations; [2] those who hated them. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
42 And their enemies oppressed them; [2] under their hand. [1] |
43 Many times [3] he delivered them; [2] they rebelled by their plans, [2] by their iniquity. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
44 But he saw [3] their distress; [2] their cry for help. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
45 And he remembered for them [3] his covenant; [2] according to the greatness of his lovingkindness. [1] |
[1] Silluq |
46 And he gave them [3] compassion; [2] all who carried them captive. [1] |
| 47 הוֹשִׁיעֵ֨נוּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh יְ֘הֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ [3] Revi'i מִֽן־הַגּ֫וֹיִ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored לְשֵׁ֣ם קׇדְשֶׁ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
47 Save us [4] O LORD our God, [3] from the nations; [2] to your holy name, [2] in your praise! [1] |
| 48 בָּ֤רֽוּךְ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֵ֪י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל [4] Pazer מִן־הָ֤עוֹלָ֨ם ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh וְעַ֬ד הָעוֹלָ֗ם [3] Revi'i וְאָמַ֖ר כׇּל־הָעָ֥ם אָמֵ֗ן [3/2] Revi'i |
48 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, [4] from everlasting [4] to everlasting! [3] Let all the people say, “Amen.” [3/2] |
