1 הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
אַשְׁרֵי־אִ֭ישׁ [3] Dechi
יָרֵ֣א אֶת־יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
בְּ֝מִצְוֺתָ֗יו [2] Revi'i Mugrash
חָפֵ֥ץ מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 1 Praise the LORD! [4]
How blessed is a person [3]
who fears the LORD; [2]
 
in his commandments [2]
he delights greatly. [1]
2 גִּבּ֣וֹר בָּ֭אָרֶץ [3] Dechi
יִהְיֶ֣ה זַרְע֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
דּ֖וֹר יְשָׁרִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
יְבֹרָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Mighty in the land [3]
will be his offspring; [2]
 
the generation of the upright, [2]
it will be blessed. [1]
3 הוֹן־וָעֹ֥שֶׁר בְּבֵית֑וֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝צִדְקָת֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עֹמֶ֥דֶת לָעַֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 3 Wealth and riches are in his house; [2]
 
and his righteousness [2]
endures forever. [1]
4 זָ֘רַ֤ח בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ א֭וֹר [3] Dechi
לַיְשָׁרִ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
חַנּ֖וּן וְרַח֣וּם [2] VRevMug
וְצַדִּֽיק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Light dawns in the darkness [3]
for the upright; [2]
 
the gracious and the compassionate, [2]
and the righteous. [1]
5 טֽוֹב־אִ֭ישׁ [3] Dechi
חוֹנֵ֣ן וּמַלְוֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
יְכַלְכֵּ֖ל דְּבָרָ֣יו [2] VRevMug
בְּמִשְׁפָּֽט׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Good is a person [3]
who shows favor and lends; [2]
 
he maintains his affairs [2]
with justice. [1]
6 כִּֽי־לְעוֹלָ֥ם לֹֽא־יִמּ֑וֹט [2] Etnachta
 
לְזֵ֥כֶר ע֝וֹלָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִהְיֶ֥ה צַדִּֽיק׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 6 For he will never be shaken; [2]
 
remembered forever [2]
the righteous will be. [1]
7 מִשְּׁמוּעָ֣ה רָ֭עָה [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
נָכ֥וֹן לִ֝בּ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בָּטֻ֥חַ בַּיהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 From bad news [3]
he will not fear; [2]
 
his heart steadfast, [2]
trusting in the LORD. [1]
8 סָמ֣וּךְ לִ֭בּוֹ [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יִירָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
עַ֖ד אֲשֶׁר־יִרְאֶ֣ה [2] VRevMug
בְצָרָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 His heart is established, [3]
he will not be afraid; [2]
 
until he will look [2]
on his adversaries. [1]
9 פִּזַּ֤ר ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
נָ֘תַ֤ן לָאֶבְיוֹנִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
צִ֭דְקָתוֹ [3] Dechi
עֹמֶ֣דֶת לָעַ֑ד [2] Etnachta
 
קַ֝רְנ֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תָּר֥וּם בְּכָבֽוֹד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 9 He scatters, [4]
he gives to the needy, [3]
 
his righteousness [3]
endures forever; [2]
 
his horn, [2]
it will be exalted in honor. [1]
10 רָ֘שָׁ֤ע יִרְאֶ֨ה ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְכָעָ֗ס [3] Revi'i
 
שִׁנָּ֣יו יַחֲרֹ֣ק [3] VDechi
וְנָמָ֑ס [2] Etnachta
 
תַּאֲוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תֹּאבֵֽד׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 4 3 2 10 The wicked will see [4]
and he will be angry, [3]
 
he will gnash his teeth [3]
and he will melt away; [2]
 
the desire of the wicked, [2]
it will perish. [1]
