אֶת־שִׁיבַ֣ת צִיּ֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
הָ֝יִ֗ינוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כְּחֹלְמִֽים׃ [1] Silluq

of the Ascents. [2]
 
1 When the LORD brought back [3]
those who returned to Zion, [2]
 
we were [2]
like those who dream. [1]
2 אָ֤ז יִמָּלֵ֪א שְׂח֡וֹק [4] Pazer
פִּינוּ֮ [3] Sinnor
וּלְשׁוֹנֵ֢נוּ רִ֫נָּ֥ה [2] Ole Veyored
 
אָ֭ז [3] Dechi
יֹאמְר֣וּ בַגּוֹיִ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
הִגְדִּ֥יל יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת עִם־אֵֽלֶּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 3 2 2 Then it was filled with laughter, [4]
our mouth, [3]
and our tongue with a shout of joy; [2]
 
then [3]
people said among the nations, [2]
 
“The LORD great things [2]
has done for these.” [1]
3 הִגְדִּ֣יל יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת עִמָּ֗נוּ [3/2] Revi'i
הָיִ֥ינוּ שְׂמֵחִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 The LORD great things [3]
has done for us, [3/2]
we were joyful. [1]
4 שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
אֶת־*שבותנו **שְׁבִיתֵ֑נוּ [2] Etnachta
 
כַּאֲפִיקִ֥ים בַּנֶּֽגֶב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 Return us O LORD [3]
from captivity; [2]
 
like the streams in the Negev. [1]
5 הַזֹּרְעִ֥ים בְּדִמְעָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
בְּרִנָּ֥ה יִקְצֹֽרוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 5 Those who sow in tears, [3/2]
with a shout of joy they will reap. [1]
6 הָ֘ל֤וֹךְ יֵלֵ֨ךְ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וּבָכֹה֮ [3] Sinnor
נֹשֵׂ֢א מֶשֶׁךְ־הַ֫זָּ֥רַע [2] Ole Veyored
 
בֹּא־יָבֹ֥א בְרִנָּ֑ה [2] Etnachta
נֹ֝שֵׂ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֲלֻמֹּתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
