1 To you O LORD, [2]
my soul I lift up. [1]

בְּךָ֣ בָ֭טַחְתִּי [3] Dechi
אַל־אֵב֑וֹשָׁה [2] Etnachta
 
אַל־יַעַלְצ֖וּ אוֹיְבַ֣י [2] VRevMug
לִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 2 O my God, [3]
in you I trust, [3]
don’t let me be ashamed; [2]
 
don’t let my enemies triumph [2]
over me. [1]
3 גַּ֣ם כׇּל־קֹ֭וֶיךָ [3] Dechi
לֹ֣א יֵבֹ֑שׁוּ [2] Etnachta
 
יֵ֝בֹ֗שׁוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַבּוֹגְדִ֥ים רֵיקָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 And all who wait for you, [3]
they will not be ashamed; [2]
 
they will be ashamed [2]
who act treacherously without cause. [1]
4 דְּרָכֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
הוֹדִיעֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
אֹ֖רְחוֹתֶ֣יךָ [2] VRevMug
לַמְּדֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 Your ways O LORD, [3]
make known to me; [2]
 
your paths, [2]
teach me. [1]
5 הַדְרִ֘יכֵ֤נִי בַאֲמִתֶּ֨ךָ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְֽלַמְּדֵ֗נִי [3] Revi'i
 
כִּֽי־אַ֭תָּה [3] Dechi
אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אוֹתְךָ֥ קִ֝וִּ֗יתִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 5 Guide me in your truth [4]
and teach me, [3]
 
for you [3]
are the God of my salvation; [2]
 
for you I wait [2]
all the day. [1]
6 זְכֹר־רַחֲמֶ֣יךָ יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֖י מֵעוֹלָ֣ם [2] VRevMug
הֵֽמָּה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 Remember your compassion O LORD, [3]
and your lovingkindness; [2]
 
for from long ago [2]
are they. [1]
7 חַטֹּ֤אות נְעוּרַ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וּפְשָׁעַ֗י [3] Revi'i
אַל־תִּ֫זְכֹּ֥ר [2] Ole Veyored
 
כְּחַסְדְּךָ֥ זְכׇר־לִי־אַ֑תָּה [2] Etnachta
לְמַ֖עַן טוּבְךָ֣ [2] VRevMug
יְהֹוָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 7 The sins of my youth [4]
and my transgressions, [3]
do not remember; [2]
 
according to your lovingkindness remember me, [2]
for the sake of your goodness [2]
O LORD. [1]
8 טוֹב־וְיָשָׁ֥ר יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
עַל־כֵּ֤ן יוֹרֶ֖ה חַטָּאִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
בַּדָּֽרֶךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 8 Good and upright is the LORD; [2]
 
therefore he instructs sinners [2]
in the way. [1]
9 יַדְרֵ֣ךְ עֲ֭נָוִים [3] Dechi
בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט [2] Etnachta
 
וִילַמֵּ֖ד עֲנָוִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 He guides the humble [3]
in justice; [2]
 
and he teaches the humble [2]
his way. [1]
10 כׇּל־אׇרְח֣וֹת יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
חֶ֣סֶד וֶאֱמֶ֑ת [2] Etnachta
 
לְנֹצְרֵ֥י בְ֝רִית֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 All the paths of the LORD [3]
are lovingkindness and faithfulness; [2]
 
to those who keep his covenant [2]
and his testimonies. [1]
11 לְמַֽעַן־שִׁמְךָ֥ יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽסָלַחְתָּ֥ לַ֝עֲוֺנִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּ֣י רַב־הֽוּא׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 11 For the sake of your name O LORD; [2]
 
forgive my iniquity, [2]
for great it is. [1]
12 מִי־זֶ֣ה הָ֭אִישׁ [3] Dechi
יְרֵ֣א יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
י֝וֹרֶ֗נּוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יִבְחָֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 Who is the man [3]
who fears the LORD? [2]
 
He shall instruct him [2]
in the way that he shall choose. [1]
13 נַ֭פְשׁוֹ [3] Dechi
בְּט֣וֹב תָּלִ֑ין [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝זַרְע֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יִ֣ירַשׁ אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 His soul [3]
in goodness will dwell; [2]
 
his offspring [2]
will inherit the land. [1]
14 ס֣וֹד יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
לִירֵאָ֑יו [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְרִית֗וֹ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְהוֹדִיעָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 The counsel of the LORD [3]
is with those who fear him; [2]
 
and his covenant [2]
he will show them. [1]
15 עֵינַ֣י תָּ֭מִיד [3] Dechi
אֶל־יְהֹוָ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֤י הֽוּא־יוֹצִ֖יא מֵרֶ֣שֶׁת [2] VRevMug
רַגְלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 My eyes continually [3]
are on the LORD; [2]
 
for he, he will bring out from the net, [2]
my feet. [1]
16 פְּנֵה־אֵלַ֥י וְחׇנֵּ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־יָחִ֖יד וְעָנִ֣י [2] VRevMug
אָֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 16 Turn to me, and have mercy on me; [2]
 
for desolate and afflicted [2]
am I. [1]
17 צָר֣וֹת לְבָבִ֣י [3] VDechi
הִרְחִ֑יבוּ [2] Etnachta
 
מִ֝מְּצוּקוֹתַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הוֹצִיאֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 17 The distresses of my heart [3]
are enlarged; [2]
 
from my troubles [2]
deliver me. [1]
18 רְאֵ֣ה עׇ֭נְיִי [3] Dechi
וַעֲמָלִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝שָׂ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְכׇל־חַטֹּאותָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 Consider my affliction [3]
and my trouble; [2]
 
and forgive [2]
all my sins. [1]
19 רְאֵֽה־אֹיְבַ֥י כִּי־רָ֑בּוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְשִׂנְאַ֖ת חָמָ֣ס [2] VRevMug
שְׂנֵאֽוּנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 19 Consider my enemies which have become many; [2]
 
and with cruel hatred, [2]
they hate me. [1]
20 שׇׁמְרָ֣ה נַ֭פְשִׁי [3] Dechi
וְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
אַל־אֵ֝ב֗וֹשׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כִּֽי־חָסִ֥יתִי בָֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 20 O preserve my life [3]
and deliver me; [2]
 
let me not be put to shame, [2]
for I take refuge in you. [1]
21 תֹּם־וָיֹ֥שֶׁר יִצְּר֑וּנִי [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֝֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קִוִּיתִֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 21 Integrity and uprightness, let them preserve me; [2]
