1 שׇׁפְטֵ֤נִי אֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְרִ֘יבָ֤ה רִיבִ֗י [3] Revi'i
מִגּ֥וֹי לֹֽא־חָסִ֑יד [2] Etnachta
 
מֵ֤אִישׁ מִרְמָ֖ה וְעַוְלָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
תְפַלְּטֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 1 Vindicate me O God [4]
and plead my case, [3]
from an unfaithful nation; [2]
 
from a man of deceit and injustice, [2]
deliver me. [1]
2 כִּֽי־אַתָּ֤ה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
אֱלֹהֵ֣י מָֽעוּזִּי֮ [3] Sinnor
לָמָ֢ה זְנַ֫חְתָּ֥נִי [2] Ole Veyored
 
לָֽמָּה־קֹדֵ֥ר אֶתְהַלֵּ֗ךְ [3/2] Revi'i
בְּלַ֣חַץ אוֹיֵֽב׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 2 For you [4]
are the God of my refuge, [3]
why have you rejected me? [2]
 
Why do I go about mourning [3/2]
in the oppression of an enemy? [1]
3 שְׁלַח־אוֹרְךָ֣ וַ֭אֲמִתְּךָ [3] Dechi
הֵ֣מָּה יַנְח֑וּנִי [2] Etnachta
 
יְבִיא֥וּנִי אֶל־הַֽר־קׇ֝דְשְׁךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וְאֶל־מִשְׁכְּנוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 Send your light and your truth. [3]
They, may they lead me; [2]
 
may they bring me to your holy mountain, [2]
and to your dwelling place. [1]
4 וְאָב֤וֹאָה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
אֶל־מִזְבַּ֬ח אֱלֹהִ֗ים [3] Revi'i
 
אֶל־אֵל֮ [3] Sinnor
שִׂמְחַ֢ת גִּ֫ילִ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
וְאוֹדְךָ֥ בְכִנּ֗וֹר [3/2] Revi'i
אֱלֹהִ֥ים אֱלֹהָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 4 Then I will go [4]
to the altar of God, [3]
 
to the God [3]
of my exceeding joy; [2]
 
and I will give thanks to you with a harp [3/2]
O God, my God. [1]
5 מַה־תִּשְׁתּ֬וֹחֲחִ֨י ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
נַפְשִׁי֮ [3] Sinnor
וּֽמַה־תֶּהֱמִ֢י עָ֫לָ֥י [2] Ole Veyored
 
הוֹחִ֣ילִי לֵ֭אלֹהִים [3] Dechi
כִּי־ע֣וֹד אוֹדֶ֑נּוּ [2] Etnachta
 
יְשׁוּעֹ֥ת פָּ֝נַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וֵאלֹהָֽי׃ [1] Silluq

O my soul, [3]
and why are you disturbed within me? [2]
 
Hope in God [3]
for I shall again give thanks to him, [2]
 
the salvation of my countenance [2]
