| 2 בְּֽבוֹא־אֵ֭לָיו [3] Dechi נָתָ֣ן הַנָּבִ֑יא [2] Etnachta אֶל־בַּת־שָֽׁבַע׃ [1] Silluq |
when came to him [3] Nathan the prophet; [2] in to Bathsheba. [1] |

1 Have mercy on me O God, [3] according to your lovingkindness; [2] blot out my transgressions. [1] |

3 For my transgressions [3] I, I know; [2] constantly. [1] |

4 Against you, you only [4] have I sinned, [3] I have done; [2] you are just in what you've spoken, [3/2] you are blameless in your judgement. [1] |

5 Behold, in iniquity I was born; [2] my mother conceived me. [1] |

6 Behold, truth [3] you desire in the inward parts; [2] wisdom you teach me. [1] |

7 Cleanse me from sin with hyssop, [3] and I will be clean; [2] and whiter than snow I will become. [1] |

8 Let me hear [3] joy and gladness; [2] the bones which you have crushed. [1] |

10 A pure heart, [3] create in me O God; [2] renew within me. [1] |

11 Do not cast me out from your presence; [2] do not take from me. [1] |

12 Restore to me [3] the joy of your salvation; [2] sustain me. [1] |

13 I will teach transgressors [3] your ways; [2] to you they will return. [1] |

14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed [4] O God, [3] the God of my salvation; [2] of your righteousness. [1] |

16 For [4] you don’t desire sacrifice, [3] or I would give it; [2] you are not pleased with. [1] |

17 The sacrifices of God [3] are a broken spirit; [2] O God, [2] you will not despise. [1] |

18 Do good in your good pleasure, [3] to Zion; [2] the walls of Jerusalem. [1] |

19 Then you will delight in sacrifices of righteousness, [3] burnt offerings and whole offerings; [2] young bulls. [1] ¶ |
