1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֗ת [3/2] Revi'i
מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 To the choirmaster, with stringed instruments, [3/2]

2 בְּבֹ֣א הַ֭זִּיפִים [3] Dechi
וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ לְשָׁא֑וּל [2] Etnachta
 
הֲלֹ֥א דָ֝וִ֗ד [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִסְתַּתֵּ֥ר עִמָּֽנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 when the Ziphites came [3]
and they said to Saul; [2]
 
“Isn’t David [2]
hiding himself among us?” [1]
3 אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
בְּשִׁמְךָ֣ הוֹשִׁיעֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ֥ תְדִינֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 1 O God, [3]
by your name save me; [2]
 
and by your strength vindicate me. [1]
4 אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
שְׁמַ֣ע תְּפִלָּתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
הַ֝אֲזִ֗ינָה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

hear my prayer; [2]
 
give ear [2]
to the words of my mouth. [1]
5 כִּ֤י זָרִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
קָ֤מוּ עָלַ֗י [3] Revi'i
 
וְֽ֭עָרִיצִים [3] Dechi
בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
לֹ֤א שָׂ֨מוּ אֱלֹהִ֖ים [2] VRevMug
לְנֶגְדָּ֣ם סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 3 For strangers, [4]
they have risen up against me, [3]
 
and the ruthless, [3]
they have sought my life; [2]
 
they haven’t set God [2]
before themselves. Selah. [1]
6 הִנֵּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
עֹזֵ֣ר לִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּֽסֹמְכֵ֥י נַפְשִֽׁי׃ [1] Silluq

is my helper; [2]
 
the Lord, [2]
in sustaining my soul. [1]
7 *ישוב **יָשִׁ֣יב הָ֭רַע [3] Dechi
לְשֹׁרְרָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֝אֲמִתְּךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הַצְמִיתֵֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 May he repay the evil [3]
to my enemies; [2]
 
in your faithfulness [2]
destroy them. [1]
8 בִּנְדָבָ֥ה אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּ֑ךְ [2] Etnachta
 
א֤וֹדֶה שִּׁמְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
כִּי־טֽוֹב׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 6 In free will I will sacrifice to you; [2]
 
I will give thanks to your name O LORD, [2]
for it is good. [1]
9 כִּ֣י מִכׇּל־צָ֭רָה [3] Dechi
הִצִּילָ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝בְאֹיְבַ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
רָאֲתָ֥ה עֵינִֽי׃ [1] Silluq

he has delivered me; [2]
 
and over my enemies [2]
