1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ בִּנְגִינֹ֗ת [3/2] Revi'i
מַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְדָוִֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 To the choirmaster, with stringed instruments, [3/2]
a poem of David. [1]
2 הַאֲזִ֣ינָה אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
תְּפִלָּתִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְאַל־תִּ֝תְעַלַּ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
מִתְּחִנָּתִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 1 Hear O God [3]
my prayer; [2]
 
and do not hide yourself [2]
from my supplication. [1]
3 הַקְשִׁ֣יבָה לִּ֣י [3] VDechi
וַעֲנֵ֑נִי [2] Etnachta
 
אָרִ֖יד בְּשִׂיחִ֣י [2] VRevMug
וְאָהִֽימָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 Pay attention to me [3]
and answer me; [2]
 
I am restless in my complaint, [2]
and I am distraught, [1]
4 מִקּ֤וֹל אוֹיֵ֗ב [3] Revi'i
מִ֭פְּנֵי [3] Dechi
עָקַ֣ת רָשָׁ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־יָמִ֥יטוּ עָלַ֥י אָ֝֗וֶן [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וּבְאַ֥ף יִשְׂטְמֽוּנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 3 from the voice of an enemy, [3]
because of [3]
the oppression of the wicked; [2]
 
for they drop on me wickedness, [2]
and in anger they are hostile to me. [1]
5 לִ֭בִּי [3] Dechi
יָחִ֣יל בְּקִרְבִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְאֵימ֥וֹת מָ֝֗וֶת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נָפְל֥וּ עָלָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 My heart, [3]
it trembles within me; [2]
 
and the terrors of death, [2]
they have fallen on me. [1]
6 יִרְאָ֣ה וָ֭רַעַד [3] Dechi
יָ֣בֹא בִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝תְּכַסֵּ֗נִי [2] Revi'i Mugrash
פַּלָּצֽוּת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 Fear and trembling, [3]
it comes on me; [2]
 
and it has covered me, [2]
shuddering. [1]
7 וָאֹמַ֗ר [3] Revi'i
מִֽי־יִתֶּן־לִ֣י אֵ֭בֶר [3] Dechi
כַּיּוֹנָ֗ה [3/2] Revi'i
אָע֥וּפָה וְאֶשְׁכֹּֽנָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 6 And I said, [3]
“Oh that I had wings [3]
like a dove! [3/2]
I want to fly away and I want to be at rest. [1]
8 הִ֭נֵּה [3] Dechi
אַרְחִ֣יק נְדֹ֑ד [2] Etnachta
 
אָלִ֖ין בַּמִּדְבָּ֣ר [2] VRevMug
סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 Behold, [3]
I want to flee far away; [2]
 
I want to lodge in the wilderness.” [2]

9 אָחִ֣ישָׁה מִפְלָ֣ט [3] VDechi
לִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
מֵר֖וּחַ סֹעָ֣ה [2] VRevMug
מִסָּֽעַר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 “I want to make haste, a place of escape [3]
to me; [2]
 
from a rushing wind, [2]
from a storm.” [1]
10 בַּלַּ֣ע אֲ֭דֹנָי [3] Dechi
פַּלַּ֣ג לְשׁוֹנָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־רָאִ֨יתִי חָמָ֖ס [2] VRevMug
וְרִ֣יב בָּעִֽיר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 Confuse O Lord, [3]
divide their tongue; [2]
 
for I have seen violence, [2]
and strife in the city. [1]
11 יוֹמָ֤ם וָלַ֗יְלָה [3] Revi'i
יְסוֹבְבֻ֥הָ עַל־חוֹמֹתֶ֑יהָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְאָ֖וֶן וְעָמָ֣ל [2] VRevMug
בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 10 By day and night [3]
they prowl around on its walls; [2]
 
and wickedness and trouble [2]
are within it. [1]
12 הַוּ֥וֹת בְּקִרְבָּ֑הּ [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽלֹא־יָמִ֥ישׁ מֵ֝רְחֹבָ֗הּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תֹּ֣ךְ וּמִרְמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 11 Destruction is within it; [2]
 
and it doesn’t depart from its streets, [2]
oppression and deceit. [1]
13 כִּ֤י לֹֽא־אוֹיֵ֥ב יְחָֽרְפֵ֗נִי [3] Revi'i
וְאֶ֫שָּׂ֥א [2] Ole Veyored
 
לֹא־מְ֭שַׂנְאִי [3] Dechi
עָלַ֣י הִגְדִּ֑יל [2] Etnachta
וְאֶסָּתֵ֥ר מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 12 For it is not an enemy who taunts me, [3]
or I would endure; [2]
 
it's not one who hates me [3]
who magnifies himself against me, [2]
or I would hide myself from him. [1]
14 וְאַתָּ֣ה אֱנ֣וֹשׁ [3] VDechi
כְּעֶרְכִּ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
אַ֝לּוּפִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וּמְיֻדָּעִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 But you, a man [3]
like me; [2]
 
my close friend [2]
and my acquaintance, [1]
15 אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַ֭חְדָּו [3] Dechi
נַמְתִּ֣יק ס֑וֹד [2] Etnachta
 
בְּבֵ֥ית אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
נְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּרָֽגֶשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 who together [3]
we took sweet fellowship; [2]
 
in the house of God [2]
we walked among the crowd. [1]
16 *ישימות **יַשִּׁ֤י **מָ֨וֶת ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
עָלֵ֗ימוֹ [3] Revi'i
 
יֵרְד֣וּ שְׁא֣וֹל [3] VDechi
חַיִּ֑ים [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־רָע֖וֹת בִּמְגוּרָ֣ם [2] VRevMug
בְּקִרְבָּֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 2 15 May death come suddenly [4]
upon them, [3]
 
may they go down to Sheol [3]
alive; [2]
 
for wickedness is in their sojourning place [2]
in their inner being. [1]
17 אֲ֭נִי [3] Dechi
אֶל־אֱלֹהִ֣ים אֶקְרָ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝יהֹוָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יוֹשִׁיעֵֽנִי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 I, [3]
to God I will call out; [2]
 
and the LORD, [2]
he will save me. [1]
18 עֶ֤רֶב וָבֹ֣קֶר וְ֭צׇהֳרַיִם [3] Dechi
אָשִׂ֣יחָה וְאֶֽהֱמֶ֑ה [2] Etnachta
 
וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע קוֹלִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 17 Evening and morning and at noon [3]
I cry out and I murmur; [2]
 
and he hears my voice. [1]
19 פָּ֘דָ֤ה בְשָׁל֣וֹם נַ֭פְשִׁי [3] Dechi
מִקְּרׇב־לִ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־בְ֝רַבִּ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
הָי֥וּ עִמָּדִֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 18 He will redeem my soul in peace [3]
from the battle against me; [2]
 
though many [2]
are they who oppose me. [1]
20 יִשְׁמַ֤ע ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
אֵ֨ל ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְֽיַעֲנֵם֮ [3] Sinnor
 
וְיֹ֤שֵׁ֥ב קֶ֗דֶם [3] Revi'i
סֶ֥֫לָה [2] Ole Veyored
 
אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֵ֣ין חֲלִיפ֣וֹת [3] VDechi
לָ֑מוֹ [2] Etnachta
 
וְלֹ֖א יָרְא֣וּ [2] VRevMug
אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 4 3 2 3 2 19 He will hear, [4]
God [4]
and he will answer them, [3]
 
the one who is enthroned forever. [3]

because no changes [3]
have they, [2]
 
and they don’t fear [2]

21 שָׁלַ֣ח יָ֭דָיו [3] Dechi
בִּשְׁלֹמָ֗יו [3/2] Revi'i
חִלֵּ֥ל בְּרִיתֽוֹ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 20 He stretched out his hands [3]
against his friends, [3/2]
he violated his covenant. [1]
22 חָלְק֤וּ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
מַחְמָאֹ֣ת פִּיו֮ [3] Sinnor
וּֽקְרָב־לִ֫בּ֥וֹ [2] Ole Veyored
 
רַכּ֖וּ דְבָרָ֥יו מִשֶּׁ֗מֶן [3/2] Revi'i
וְהֵ֣מָּה פְתִחֽוֹת׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 21 They were smooth, [4]
the butter of his mouth, [3]
but his heart was war; [2]
 
his words were softer than oil, [3/2]
but they were drawn swords. [1]
23 הַשְׁלֵ֤ךְ עַל־יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
יְהָבְךָ֮ [3] Sinnor
וְה֢וּא יְכַ֫לְכְּלֶ֥ךָ [2] Ole Veyored
 
לֹא־יִתֵּ֖ן לְעוֹלָ֥ם מ֗וֹט [3/2] Revi'i
לַצַּדִּֽיק׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 22 Cast on the LORD [4]
your burden [3]
and he, he will sustain you; [2]
 
he will never allow to be shaken [3/2]
the righteous. [1]
24 וְאַתָּ֤ה אֱלֹהִ֨ים ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
תּוֹרִדֵ֬ם ׀ לִבְאֵ֬ר שַׁ֗חַת [3] Revi'i
 
אַנְשֵׁ֤י דָמִ֣ים וּ֭מִרְמָה [3] Dechi
לֹא־יֶחֱצ֣וּ יְמֵיהֶ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝אֲנִ֗י [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אֶבְטַח־בָּֽךְ׃ [1] Silluq

2 3 4 3 2 23 But you O God, [4]
you will bring them down into the pit of destruction. [3]
 
Bloodthirsty and deceitful men, [3]
they shall not live out half their days; [2]
 
but I, [2]
I will trust in you. [1]
