טִ֭מְּאוּ [3] Dechi
אֶת־הֵיכַ֣ל קׇדְשֶׁ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
שָׂ֖מוּ אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלַ֣͏ִם [2] VRevMug

1 O God, [4]
the nations have come [4]
to your inheritance. [3]
 
They have made unclean [3]
your holy temple. [2]
 
They have made Jerusalem [2]
into heaps of ruin. [1]

אֶת־נִבְלַ֬ת עֲבָדֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i
 
מַ֭אֲכָל [3] Dechi
לְע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם [2] Etnachta
 
בְּשַׂ֥ר חֲ֝סִידֶ֗יךָ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְחַיְתוֹ־אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq

the dead bodies of your servants [3]
 
as food [3]
to the birds of the heavens; [2]
 
the flesh of your faithful [2]
to the animals of the earth. [1]
3 שָׁפְכ֬וּ דָמָ֨ם ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
כַּמַּ֗יִם [3] Revi'i
סְֽבִ֘יב֤וֹת יְֽרוּשָׁלָ֗͏ִם [3/2] Revi'i
וְאֵ֣ין קוֹבֵֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 They have poured out their blood [4]
like water [3]
around Jerusalem, [3/2]
and there was no one to bury them. [1]
4 הָיִ֣ינוּ חֶ֭רְפָּה [3] Dechi
לִשְׁכֵנֵ֑ינוּ [2] Etnachta
 
לַ֥עַג וָ֝קֶ֗לֶס [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִסְבִיבוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 4 We have become a reproach [3]
to our neighbors; [2]
 
a scoffing and derision [2]
to those around us. [1]
5 עַד־מָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
תֶּאֱנַ֣ף לָנֶ֑צַח [2] Etnachta
 
תִּבְעַ֥ר כְּמוֹ־אֵ֝֗שׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
קִנְאָתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 How long, O LORD? [3]
Will you be angry forever? [2]
 
Will it burn like fire, [2]
your jealousy? [1]
6 שְׁפֹ֤ךְ חֲמָתְךָ֗ [3] Revi'i
אֶֽל־הַגּוֹיִם֮ [3] Sinnor
אֲשֶׁ֢ר לֹא־יְדָ֫ע֥וּךָ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וְעַ֥ל מַמְלָכ֑וֹת [2] Etnachta
אֲשֶׁ֥ר בְּ֝שִׁמְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לֹ֣א קָרָֽאוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 3 2 2 6 Pour out your anger [3]
against the nations [3]
which don’t know you; [2]
 
and on the kingdoms [2]
which on your name, [2]
they do not call, [1]
7 כִּ֭י [3] Dechi
אָכַ֣ל אֶֽת־יַעֲקֹ֑ב [2] Etnachta
 
וְֽאֶת־נָוֵ֥הוּ הֵשַֽׁמּוּ׃ [1] Silluq

they have devoured Jacob; [2]
 
and his homeland they have destroyed. [1]
8 אַֽל־תִּזְכׇּר־לָנוּ֮ [3] Sinnor
עֲוֺנֹ֢ת רִאשֹׁ֫נִ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
מַ֭הֵר [3] Dechi
יְקַדְּמ֣וּנוּ רַחֲמֶ֑יךָ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּ֖י דַלּ֣וֹנוּ [2] VRevMug
מְאֹֽד׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 2 8 Do not remember against us [3]
former iniquities; [2]
 
quickly [3]
may your compassions come to meet us, [2]
 
for we are in need [2]
desperately. [1]
9 עׇזְרֵ֤נוּ ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
אֱלֹ֘הֵ֤י יִשְׁעֵ֗נוּ [3] Revi'i
עַֽל־דְּבַ֥ר כְּבֽוֹד־שְׁמֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וְהַצִּילֵ֥נוּ וְכַפֵּ֥ר עַל־חַ֝טֹּאתֵ֗ינוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 9 Help us [4]
O God of our salvation, [3]
for the glory of your name; [2]
 
and deliver us and atone for our sins, [2]
for the sake of your name. [1]
10 לָ֤מָּה ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
יֹאמְר֣וּ הַגּוֹיִם֮ [3] Sinnor
אַיֵּ֢ה אֱֽלֹהֵ֫יהֶ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored
 
יִוָּדַ֣ע *בגיים **בַּגּוֹיִ֣ם [3] VDechi
לְעֵינֵ֑ינוּ [2] Etnachta
 
נִ֝קְמַ֗ת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
דַּֽם־עֲבָדֶ֥יךָ הַשָּׁפֽוּךְ׃ [1] Silluq

should the nations say, [3]
“Where is their God?” [2]
 
Let it be known among the nations [3]
before our eyes, [2]
 
the vengeance [2]
for the blood of your servants poured out. [1]
11 תָּ֤ב֣וֹא לְפָנֶיךָ֮ [3] Sinnor
אֶנְקַ֢ת אָ֫סִ֥יר [2] Ole Veyored
 
כְּגֹ֥דֶל זְרוֹעֲךָ֑ [2] Etnachta
ה֝וֹתֵ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּנֵ֣י תְמוּתָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 2 11 May it come before you, [3]
the groaning of the prisoner; [2]
 
according to the greatness of your power, [2]
preserve [2]
those who are sentenced to death. [1]
12 וְהָ֘שֵׁ֤ב לִשְׁכֵנֵ֣ינוּ שִׁ֭בְעָתַיִם [3] Dechi
אֶל־חֵיקָ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
חֶרְפָּ֘תָ֤ם אֲשֶׁ֖ר חֵרְפ֣וּךָ [2] VRevMug
אֲדֹנָֽי׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 And pay back to our neighbors seven times [3]
into their bosom; [2]
 
their reproach with which they reproached you, [2]
O Lord. [1]
13 וַאֲנַ֤חְנוּ עַמְּךָ֨ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְצֹ֥אן מַרְעִיתֶךָ֮ [3] Sinnor
 
נ֤וֹדֶ֥ה לְּךָ֗ [3] Revi'i
לְע֫וֹלָ֥ם [2] Ole Veyored
 
לְד֥וֹר וָדֹ֑ר [2] Etnachta
נְ֝סַפֵּ֗ר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq

and the sheep of your pasture, [3]
 
we will give thanks to you [3]
