1 God [3]
takes his stand in the assembly of the mighty, [2]
 
among the gods, [2]
he judges. [1]
2 עַד־מָתַ֥י תִּשְׁפְּטוּ־עָ֑וֶל [2] Etnachta
 
וּפְנֵ֥י רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים [2] Revi'i Mugrash
תִּשְׂאוּ־סֶֽלָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 2 “How long will you judge unjustly; [2]
 
and the face of the wicked [2]
will you lift up?” Selah. [1]
3 שִׁפְטוּ־דַ֥ל וְיָת֑וֹם [2] Etnachta
 
עָנִ֖י וָרָ֣שׁ [2] VRevMug
הַצְדִּֽיקוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 3 “Give justice to the poor and the fatherless; [2]
 
the afflicted and the poor, [2]
vindicate. [1]
4 פַּלְּטוּ־דַ֥ל וְאֶבְי֑וֹן [2] Etnachta
 
מִיַּ֖ד רְשָׁעִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
הַצִּֽילוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 2 4 Deliver the poor and needy; [2]
 
from the hand of the wicked, [2]
rescue them.” [1]
5 לֹ֤א יָדְע֨וּ ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
וְלֹ֥א יָבִ֗ינוּ [3] Revi'i
בַּחֲשֵׁכָ֥ה יִתְהַלָּ֑כוּ [2] Etnachta
 
יִ֝מּ֗וֹטוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כׇּל־מ֥וֹסְדֵי אָֽרֶץ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 2 5 They don’t know, [4]
and they don't understand, [3]
in darkness they walk about; [2]
 
they are shaken, [2]
all the foundations of the earth. [1]
6 אֲֽנִי־אָ֭מַרְתִּי [3] Dechi
אֱלֹהִ֣ים אַתֶּ֑ם [2] Etnachta
 
וּבְנֵ֖י עֶלְי֣וֹן [2] VRevMug
כֻּלְּכֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 I, I said, [3]
“You are gods; [2]
 
and sons of the Most High [2]
are all of you. [1]
7 אָ֭כֵן [3] Dechi
כְּאָדָ֣ם תְּמוּת֑וּן [2] Etnachta
 
וּכְאַחַ֖ד הַשָּׂרִ֣ים [2] VRevMug
תִּפֹּֽלוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 7 Nevertheless, [3]
like men you shall die; [2]
 
and like one of the rulers, [2]
you shall fall.” [1]
8 קוּמָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים [3] Dechi
שׇׁפְטָ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּֽי־אַתָּ֥ה תִ֝נְחַ֗ל [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִֽם׃ [1] Silluq
פ		 2 3 2 8 Arise O God, [3]
judge the earth; [2]
 
for you, you have an inheritance [2]
among all the nations. [1]
