לְמֹשֶׁ֢ה אִֽישׁ־הָאֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים [2] Ole Veyored
 
1b אֲֽדֹנָ֗י [3] Revi'i
מָע֣וֹן אַ֭תָּה [3] Dechi
הָיִ֥יתָ לָּ֗נוּ [3/2] Revi'i
בְּדֹ֣ר וָדֹֽר׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 3 A prayer [3]
of Moses the man of God. [2]
 
1 O Lord, [3]
a dwelling place you, [3]
you have been to us, [3/2]
for generation after generation. [1]
2 בְּטֶ֤רֶם ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
הָ֘רִ֤ים יֻלָּ֗דוּ [3] Revi'i
 
וַתְּח֣וֹלֵֽל אֶ֣רֶץ [3] VDechi
וְתֵבֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽמֵעוֹלָ֥ם עַד־ע֝וֹלָ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
אַתָּ֥ה אֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq

the mountains were born, [3]
 
and you brought forth the earth [3]
and the world; [2]
 
from everlasting to everlasting [2]
you are God. [1]
3 תָּשֵׁ֣ב אֱ֭נוֹשׁ [3] Dechi
עַד־דַּכָּ֑א [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝תֹּ֗אמֶר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
שׁ֣וּבוּ בְנֵֽי־אָדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 3 You return man [3]
to dust; [2]
 
and you say, [2]
“Return, O children of men.” [1]
4 כִּ֤י אֶ֪לֶף שָׁנִ֡ים [4] Pazer
בְּֽעֵינֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i
 
כְּי֣וֹם אֶ֭תְמוֹל [3] Dechi
כִּ֣י יַֽעֲבֹ֑ר [2] Etnachta
 
וְאַשְׁמוּרָ֥ה בַלָּֽיְלָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 3 4 For a thousand years [4]
in your eyes [3]
 
are just like yesterday [3]
when it is past; [2]
 
and a watch in the night. [1]
5 זְ֭רַמְתָּם [3] Dechi
שֵׁנָ֣ה יִהְי֑וּ [2] Etnachta
 
בַּ֝בֹּ֗קֶר [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כֶּחָצִ֥יר יַחֲלֹֽף׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 5 You sweep them away [3]
as they sleep; [2]
 
in the morning [2]
they are like sprouting grass. [1]
6 בַּ֭בֹּקֶר [3] Dechi
יָצִ֣יץ וְחָלָ֑ף [2] Etnachta
 
לָ֝עֶ֗רֶב [2] Revi'i Mugrash
יְמוֹלֵ֥ל וְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 6 In the morning [3]
it sprouts and springs up; [2]
 
by evening [2]
it withers and dries up. [1]
7 כִּֽי־כָלִ֥ינוּ בְאַפֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽבַחֲמָתְךָ֥ נִבְהָֽלְנוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 7 For we are consumed in your anger; [2]
 
and by your wrath we are terrified. [1]
8 שַׁתָּ֣ עֲוֺנֹתֵ֣ינוּ [3] VDechi
לְנֶגְדֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
עֲ֝לֻמֵ֗נוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לִמְא֥וֹר פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 8 You have set our iniquities [3]
before you; [2]
 
our secret sins [2]
in the light of your presence. [1]
9 כִּ֣י כׇל־יָ֭מֵינוּ [3] Dechi
פָּנ֣וּ בְעֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
כִּלִּ֖ינוּ שָׁנֵ֣ינוּ [2] VRevMug
כְמוֹ־הֶֽגֶה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 9 For all our days, [3]
they pass away in your fury; [2]
 
we finish our years [2]
like a sigh. [1]
10 יְמֵֽי־שְׁנוֹתֵ֨ינוּ בָהֶ֥ם שִׁבְעִ֪ים שָׁנָ֡ה [4] Pazer
וְאִ֤ם בִּגְבוּרֹ֨ת ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh
שְׁמ֘וֹנִ֤ים שָׁנָ֗ה [3] Revi'i
 
וְ֭רׇהְבָּם [3] Dechi
עָמָ֣ל וָאָ֑וֶן [2] Etnachta
 
כִּי־גָ֥ז חִ֝֗ישׁ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
וַנָּעֻֽפָה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 4 4 3 2 10 The days of our years are seventy years, [4]
or with strength [4]
eighty years, [3]
 
yet their best [3]
is toil and trouble; [2]
 
for it passes quickly, [2]
and we fly away. [1]
11 מִֽי־י֭וֹדֵעַ [3] Dechi
עֹ֣ז אַפֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וּ֝כְיִרְאָתְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עֶבְרָתֶֽךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 11 Who knows [3]
the strength of your anger; [2]
 
and like the fear of you, [2]
your wrath? [1]
12 לִמְנ֣וֹת יָ֭מֵינוּ [3] Dechi
כֵּ֣ן הוֹדַ֑ע [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝נָבִ֗א [2] Revi'i Mugrash
לְבַ֣ב חׇכְמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 12 To number our days [3]
rightly teach us; [2]
 
so that we may gain [2]
a heart of wisdom. [1]
13 שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi
עַד־מָתָ֑י [2] Etnachta
 
וְ֝הִנָּחֵ֗ם [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 13 Relent O LORD! [3]
How long? [2]
 
Have compassion [2]
on your servants! [1]
14 שַׂבְּעֵ֣נוּ בַבֹּ֣קֶר [3] VDechi
חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽנְרַנְּנָ֥ה וְ֝נִשְׂמְחָ֗ה [2] Revi'i Mugrash
בְּכׇל־יָמֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 14 Satisfy us in the morning [3]
with your lovingkindness; [2]
 
that we may shout for joy and rejoice [2]
in all our days. [1]
15 שַׂ֭מְּחֵנוּ [3] Dechi
כִּימ֣וֹת עִנִּיתָ֑נוּ [2] Etnachta
 
שְׁ֝נ֗וֹת [2] Revi'i Mugrash
רָאִ֥ינוּ רָעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 15 Make us rejoice [3]
according to the days you have afflicted us; [2]
 
the years [2]
that we saw trouble. [1]
16 יֵרָאֶ֣ה אֶל־עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ [3] VDechi
פׇעֳלֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta
 
וַ֝הֲדָרְךָ֗ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
עַל־בְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq
2 3 2 16 May it appear to your servants [3]
your deeds; [2]
 
and your majesty [2]
to their children. [1]
17 וִיהִ֤י ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh
נֹ֤עַם אֲדֹנָ֥י אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ [3] Revi'i
עָ֫לֵ֥ינוּ [2] Ole Veyored
 
וּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָ֭דֵינוּ [3] Dechi
כּוֹנְנָ֥ה עָלֵ֑ינוּ [2] Etnachta
 
וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דֵ֗ינוּ [2] Revi'i Mugrash
כּוֹנְנֵֽהוּ׃ [1] Silluq

the favor of the Lord our God [3]
upon us; [2]
 
and the work of our hands, [3]
establish for us, [2]
