A prayer [3] of Moses the man of God. [2] a dwelling place you, [3] you have been to us, [3/2] for generation after generation. [1] |

2 בְּטֶ֤רֶם ׀ [4] Mahpakh Legarmeh הָ֘רִ֤ים יֻלָּ֗דוּ [3] Revi'i וְתֵבֵ֑ל [2] Etnachta אַתָּ֥ה אֵֽל׃ [1] Silluq |
2 Before [4] the mountains were born, [3] and the world; [2] you are God. [1] |

3 תָּשֵׁ֣ב אֱ֭נוֹשׁ [3] Dechi עַד־דַּכָּ֑א [2] Etnachta שׁ֣וּבוּ בְנֵֽי־אָדָֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
3 You return man [3] to dust; [2] “Return, O children of men.” [1] |

4 כִּ֤י אֶ֪לֶף שָׁנִ֡ים [4] Pazer בְּֽעֵינֶ֗יךָ [3] Revi'i כִּ֣י יַֽעֲבֹ֑ר [2] Etnachta |
4 For a thousand years [4] in your eyes [3] when it is past; [2] |

5 זְ֭רַמְתָּם [3] Dechi שֵׁנָ֣ה יִהְי֑וּ [2] Etnachta כֶּחָצִ֥יר יַחֲלֹֽף׃ [1] Silluq |
5 You sweep them away [3] as they sleep; [2] they are like sprouting grass. [1] |

6 בַּ֭בֹּקֶר [3] Dechi יָצִ֣יץ וְחָלָ֑ף [2] Etnachta יְמוֹלֵ֥ל וְיָבֵֽשׁ׃ [1] Silluq |
6 In the morning [3] it sprouts and springs up; [2] it withers and dries up. [1] |

7 For we are consumed in your anger; [2] |

8 שַׁתָּ֣ עֲוֺנֹתֵ֣ינוּ [3] VDechi לְנֶגְדֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta לִמְא֥וֹר פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
8 You have set our iniquities [3] before you; [2] in the light of your presence. [1] |

9 כִּ֣י כׇל־יָ֭מֵינוּ [3] Dechi פָּנ֣וּ בְעֶבְרָתֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta כְמוֹ־הֶֽגֶה׃ [1] Silluq |
9 For all our days, [3] they pass away in your fury; [2] like a sigh. [1] |

10 יְמֵֽי־שְׁנוֹתֵ֨ינוּ בָהֶ֥ם שִׁבְעִ֪ים שָׁנָ֡ה [4] Pazer וְאִ֤ם בִּגְבוּרֹ֨ת ׀ [4] Azla Legarmeh שְׁמ֘וֹנִ֤ים שָׁנָ֗ה [3] Revi'i עָמָ֣ל וָאָ֑וֶן [2] Etnachta וַנָּעֻֽפָה׃ [1] Silluq |
10 The days of our years are seventy years, [4] or with strength [4] eighty years, [3] is toil and trouble; [2] and we fly away. [1] |

11 Who knows [3] the strength of your anger; [2] your wrath? [1] |

12 לִמְנ֣וֹת יָ֭מֵינוּ [3] Dechi כֵּ֣ן הוֹדַ֑ע [2] Etnachta לְבַ֣ב חׇכְמָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
12 To number our days [3] rightly teach us; [2] a heart of wisdom. [1] |

13 שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה [3] Dechi עַד־מָתָ֑י [2] Etnachta עַל־עֲבָדֶֽיךָ׃ [1] Silluq |
13 Relent O LORD! [3] How long? [2] on your servants! [1] |

14 שַׂבְּעֵ֣נוּ בַבֹּ֣קֶר [3] VDechi חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta בְּכׇל־יָמֵֽינוּ׃ [1] Silluq |
14 Satisfy us in the morning [3] with your lovingkindness; [2] in all our days. [1] |

15 שַׂ֭מְּחֵנוּ [3] Dechi כִּימ֣וֹת עִנִּיתָ֑נוּ [2] Etnachta רָאִ֥ינוּ רָעָֽה׃ [1] Silluq |
15 Make us rejoice [3] according to the days you have afflicted us; [2] that we saw trouble. [1] |

16 יֵרָאֶ֣ה אֶל־עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ [3] VDechi פׇעֳלֶ֑ךָ [2] Etnachta עַל־בְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ [1] Silluq |
16 May it appear to your servants [3] your deeds; [2] to their children. [1] |
